[Q] Revert(downgrade) from CM9 to CM7 - Nook Color Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can someone please help me take my nook color back to cm7. I was running cm7 and I was loving it. I decided to give cm9 a shoot, and think it really lags with cm9, So I want to take it back to cm7. Any instructions or link would be greatly appreciated.

It's the same like upgrading from CM7 to cm9.
First you download the rom that you want to install and you have it available.
Then you reboot in recovery, you format system/wipe data and cache partition.
Then you install the rom and this is it.
Produced by NookColor at ICS AOKP 4.0.4

Thanks for the quick response, how about gapps? Do i have to install the cm7 version?

Two different kernels. You have to install the unofficial nightlys by revnumbers. He has an updated build with GB kernel.

Yes it is possible.
1. Install mS2ginger 4.0 beta4 via nandroid as described in this post
2. Dual boot from this guide. Make sure to use the latest multiboot. I used 0.5.4. I also used the updated bootmenu(1.1.8) and CWM (5.0.5)

[Q] Cyanogen Mod 7.2 Installation - Droid X

The release of CM7.2 seems to have gone unnoticed in the Droid X community. The code name for the Droid X "Shadow" has a release: download[DOT]cyanogenmod[DOT]com/?device=shadow&type=
So my question is can the CM7.2 Rom be installed on OTA .605 or do I have to SBF back to the froyo kernel? That was the reason I didn't install CM7. This was because the CM7 Rom was based on the froyo kernel.
It actually hasn't gone unnoticed.
The official version still uses the Froyo kernel; however, you can download an unofficial version over at Rootzwiki that will absolutely fly.

Best ROM for TF101 Version 4.0.3

Im currently using Android Revolution HD, It seems ok but i expected more customization, I see almost no difference, Does anyone have some suggestions?
I've been looking at TEAM EOS 4 but noticed it's for 4.2, Would this work with 4.0.3?
Thanks in advance.
It isn't "for" 4.2, it is 4.2. You're going to be completely replacing 4.0.3. I've been using EOS 4, and think it's excellent. I tried the other CM 10 based JB ROMS and always went back to ICS because of issues. EOS 4 is more than stable enough as an everyday driver, and it got me interested in my TF again. I had been mainly using my Nexus 7.

Sorry for being a noob I installed my first custom rom yesterday, So i guess it's safe to install it? Would i need to "superwipe" before installing the new custom ROM?
No Superwipe. Just wipe data, cache, and Dalvik before installing. Don't forget to flash the latest GAPPS too. Many people also flash the KAT kernel. Your best bet is too read the first few pages of the EOS thread and follow the tutorial in the OP.

I would also recomend APEX Launcher with EOS4 as well. seems to run smoother then default lancher and it really opens up the customations of the tablet.

If you would have made a backup of your stock ROM, this would have been as easy as pie.
