Hardware LG GT540 (msm7227) - dont support triple buffer and vsync. This components need for Project Butter UI which using in 4.1, so I dont sure if 4.1 will work on our phone, maybe CM will make dirty-hack.
yeah hoping for it
miroslav i ported the rom android revolution hd 4.1 jellybean rom and while flashing i got status 0 error
Tell us more info
more info like what
made a mistake android revolution was android 4.0.4 i am now downloading stock 4.1

thanks in advance
also a demonstration of the rom (on galaxy s2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PW5fRzEnyLQ
Haven't seen pacman on 4.2 yet? Probably in the works

Sent from my Paranoid Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
as far as I know anything related to PA is currently closed source till they officially finalize their 4.2 release...moles and the team are still working on it, as its in beta.
thanks pple ill look into jellybalm rom
Hi there
As u all may know PA 3.0 got released for nexus prime 7,10,4 along with the source. So i was hoping someone could bring this beautiful rom to our devices..
for some info :
news : http://www.xda-developers.com/android/paranoid-android-3-released-for-four-nexus-devices/
source : https://github.com/paranoidandroid
Also wanted to know if there's any pure AOKP 4.2 rom ...
Thanks
I second this motion!
I would love for PA 3.0 to be ported to this awesome tab
Official and unofficial PA members are plenty. So i guess eventually we'll get it.

AFAIK there's no source ported to run on tab2 yet, but it's meaning of time.
Why? Cause now PA is based in AOSP instead of CM. But as I said before, it's just meaning of time.
Yeah...it would be great to have the rom!
Why is there no AOSP 4.2.X rom for tab 2
Hi there
I wanted to know why is there no 4.2.X AOSP rom cuz aosp and cm combo roms are some of the best roms integrating the features of both of them.
Yet even on AOSP site there is no 4.2.X release.. which means there is no AOSP 4.2.X support for tab2 .... correct me if i'm wrong.
Hope this helps

1)The galaxy tab 2 is not an aosp device this forces devs to have to modify the source code in order for the device specific things to work like drivers
2) the cyanogenmod team does most of it's initial testing on samsung devices that's why we have CM roms
If someone more knowledgeable than me comes around feel free to correct me
ya ... i heard that psycodelico , who shared the latest 2.99 currently doesnt have linux machine so we may wait till he get one . or somebody will develop it
So anybody developing aokp/paranoid android for tab 2???

If anyone else can help test this ROM out, it would be appreciated. It's nice to have a dev(s) willing to put time in to P31XX...especially with something as nice as PA. (Just Sayin')
Hi
Just a quick question
When are we expecting some custom kernels for the new 4.3 jelly bean???
they're already our, faux 018 and franco r170.
do note that they only work on the V build as they arent updated for the JSS build.

Now I have no idea what you are talking about "v build ,jss build" I got my ROM from this link
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occamjwr66v
So if u plzz can be too kind and till me if they will work on this build and if not plzz give me a link to a build that would work
sorry to but in,
you got v ...jwr66cv (its the official 4.3 on our n4's)
note there is also another custom kernel for 4.3 in thracemerins motley+ kernel continuation thread
Thread should be closed. Kernels will come when they are ready, 4.3 just dropped. Give the devs a break, they provide software for everyone for no monetary price.

As we discussed much in my CM10.1 thread I thought to make a discussion thread for further development.I hope this is not against forum rules and if please tell me and I'll change/delete it.
Rules:
-Don't ask noob question like: "How to root,...!"
-Don's spam this thread
-Only use this for development purpose
Now feel free to post everything about development for our HTC Buzz!
for cyanogenmod 10+ look at this ----> http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/12089/2/services/surfaceflinger/SurfaceFlinger.cpp
This is the commit that fixed screenshot, task previews and other openGL es related stuff in ICS
Just found out my cpu is 64-bit, so im installing ubuntu 13.10 64-bit and then syncing up CM10.1 to fix errors with you sasa
Thanks for the link and all the best while fixing bugs.Anyways yesterday my hard disk got broken so all my data is lost so my source is lost!
I need to sync it again now!
I will also begin now and then try to fix the bugs too!
Yeah this thread should be not deleted at all
Also I'm going to install ubuntu for my new laptop, now that I've got my own i can start developing even further more
And I'm going to start helping fixing bugs in cm9
Also i'll try make a new kernal for HTC buzz cm9

How hard exactly? Then in that case, i'll still try. If no luck then
Yes, Kernel Development is harder than compiling ROMs.The first build is a pain.If it boots up it's pretty good. Then only adding the features is over. But if you don't have proper source like for the Buzz(We don't have 3.x Source), you have to search for alternate source.Like me I found a source from LG Optimus Me!
It has same Chipset as our Buzz and is also ARM-V6.So when we use our config of Buzz it should compile and boot up!
found a good kernel source as mentioned by you sasa ----> https://github.com/PecanCM/lge-kernel-pecan/tree/android-msm-3.0-jb
Ill try it after building PAC cm10

Porting jelly bean roms is much much much harder than ICS or GB!! They always reboot and bootloop with many errors:/
I built PAC and it boots!!!!!
but paranoid preferences don't work:/ I know how to fix it but ill have to recompile which will take another day:/
