ALL ABOUT STREAKFLASH
[Q] Do you know why you need to streakflash your DS?
[A] Its if you have a bricked DS. If you get a bricked DS you cant go to fastboot mode nor the recovery mode, but you still can go to safe mode (in many case).
[A] Its if you can go to fastboot mode and recovery mode, and sucessfully flash your desired recovery.img. And then you go to
recovery mode and choosing 2 for updating ROM, but after you done installing your ROM, your DS just freeze in a dark screen after dell logo while the light still there.
[A] Its if you have your DS always hung/hang on the Dell logo, and you already try everything that you can do and doesnt fix the problem. (ex: factory default on recovery mode, reflash on fastboot mode and reinstall ROM on recovery mode, & etc)
[A] Its if you have your DS always restart repeatedly, and you have try everything that you can do to fix it, but you cant.
[A] And the DS problem you have that you cant fix it even you have already do everythings.
IF YES THEN YOU ALL IN THE RIGHT PLACE
[Q] Why i said that
[A] Because i already have the same problem like you have on my DS (its the blank screen after choosing 2), and i already search in this forum and ask to google, and finally i have the solution for my problem, its streakflash and a samsung driver for the Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM. Not the driver that we got on the streakflash.zip.
As you know there is 3 hotkey for us to tweak the DS:
[1] The power button + Camera button -> Fastboot Mode
[2] The power button + Vol. Up button + Vol. Down button-> Recovery Mode
[3] Plug in the USB cable to PC while holding the Vol. Up button -> Safe Mode
HOW TO DO THE RIGHT STREAKFLASH
[1] You need to download the driver to connect your device to your PC, because the PC doesnt have the Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM. And even you have the streakflash.zip the driver that contain in the zip its not right. You need to download the samsung driver for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM here.
[2] After you have download the driver extract them in C:\ and it will create Samsung folder. Now restart your PC then press F8 before the Windows boot screen appear, on advanced boot option choose Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. Now turn off your DS, and plug out the battery, wait for 10 seconds, then plug it in, close the back cover, then hold Vol. Up button, then connect the USB cable to your PC while still holding the Vol. Up button, then there is a sound on your PC that there is a new hardware connected, then release the Vol. Up button.
[3] After your Windows detect a new hardware, then choose "Browse my computer for driver software" and browse to your samsung driver directory and click next then install the driver, then it will say failed, then finish. Now repeat again the process: choose "Browse my computer for driver software" then choose "Let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer", then unchecked "Show compatible hardware", then choose "Qualcomm Incorporated" Manufacturer and "Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 9002" Models. Then press next, yes, and close.
[4] After the installation of the Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM complete, now you need the streakflash, you can download in here. Download the streakflash and extract to C:\streakflash.
[5] Completed the extraction, now you can go to C:\streakflash then double click the QDLTool.exe, after QDLTool launch make sure that your DS connected, if not press scan. If yes you click RUN, then it will go to processing the necessary data to restore your DS. When its done, the DS will restart it self, and you must hold camera button in the Dell logo so you can enter fastboot mode.
[6] After you completely inside the fastboot mode (the background is white), you enter the fastboot mode by touching the screen that write FASTBOOT MODE, then the writing will change to Wait for USB FastBoot detect (on the bottom). Now what you need its to install the Dell Driver, you can download in here. After finish the download, install the driver.
[7] So you now have the USB driver installed for fastboot mode, and now you need the DSC flash and ROM by _n0p_, first you need to download the DSC_flashme2 here, then you need to download the CUSTOM ROM here and here.
[8] After you download all the data required, first extract the DSC_flashme2 to C:\dsc_flashme2. Then copy all the ROM you download to your Exernal Micro SD root (DSCv1.0.zip & updDSCv1.7.zip). If all done you can plug your USB cable to your PC now, the DS status will change from Wait for USB FastBoot detect to FASTBOOT_MODE. Then you go to C:\dsc_flashme2 and run the flash.cmd, the CMD will come and the process begin. If done your DS will restart, then you must prepare to hold the Vol. Up and Down when the Dell logo appear.
[9] And you done go inside recovery mode, now you choose update on option 2 and push the camera button, then choose yes and push camera button, then you choose the DSCv1.0.zip to install. After installation done then choose advance option then clear dalvic cache, after done press back then choose wipe partition, after done choose advance again and choose fix permision after done press back and choose reboot.
[10] After reboot you need to go to recovery mode again and choose factory default, if done the DS will restart and you need to come to recovery again to update to the latest DSC ROM by choosing this file: updDSCv1.7.zip. the instruction after installation its the same like point 9.
[11] After fix permission done and reboot, you need to factory default again, then restart, then you have your DS back on track.
_n0p_ DSC v1.7
[Q] Why using this ROM?
[A] Because its based on the newest official ROM from Dell, the Olleh 407.
[A] Because its more bugs free then Olleh 407 stock ROM, thanks to _n0p_
Feel free for asking, iam glad to help. And sorry for amass writing :highfive:

Hi!
I've just got my gt540 .
I decided to install CM7[swift-droid] but fastboot or recovery was needed, so I downloaded rom with fastbood [.kdz] , installed all drivers and started update with kdz updater .
[phone was 2.1 already]
Installation stopped on 140 [booted to download mode]
I disconnected phone ...
And now it is not able to boot .
I tried VOL- + USB - nothing happen
I tried Hard-reset - same
KDZ Updater cant find my phone,
I can't even hear the "BUMP" sound when I connect the divice via USB .
Simply phone is fully dead .
Is there possiblity to make my gt540 working again ? //no warranty ;/
[HOW-TO] Repair your device if it feels like dead | When you click power button nothing happens (Note that this may or may not work)
Make sure you use USB ports that are in back of youre PC, dont use front ones.
Disable LGE Virtual Modem. In your Windows operating system, go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Modems > Right click on LGE Virtual Modem and click Disable.
Try to boot your phone into Emergency/Download mode (VOL DOWN + POWER).
If the phone booted into Emergency/Download mode, launch KDZ Updater.
In TYPE dropdown menu, choose EMERGENCY.
Load KDZ(ROM) and flash your phone.
If the phone failed to boot into Emergency/Download mode (VOL DOWN + POWER), launch KDZ Updater.
In TYPE dropdown menu, choose CS_EMERGENCY.
Load KDZ(ROM) and flash your phone.

Thanks but my phone is not able to go into Download mode and KDZ Upadter says "Phone not found" when I use "cs_emergency" .
Any other ideas ?
I think that repairing boot with jtag is inevitable
You have to send it to LG. Basically, they will replace the motherboard

@up not so fast others with this prob might see this thread and fix their phone this way
Hmm, as I said warranty has ended .
I found auction where I can repair this for 20USD, probably I will try ... ;/

Well I just repetead a part of what you posted because I didnt read entirely your post. Doubt that anyone will find that helpful.
hi guys.. could you help me with my problem.!
I have an LG GT540 android 1.6 firmware version(stock)
So here are my problems:
1. I tried to upgrade it from 1.6 to 2.1 using this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...27&postcount=3 thanks to lavero.burgos for posting it, I was successful at first part, but I cant follow the next because my device wont go to fast boot,, I tried putting it off, then camera+poweron but it doesnt do anything. It doesn't light, no lg logo appears, just nothing although the computer can read the drive when I connect it through usb. So I cannot flash it to 2.3,2.3 because it just wont go to fastboot.
2. When I turn it on normally, It takes long before it response like after 30sec to light, but just light, no lg logo appears although it wasnt bricked because I can use it normally after just waiting to on.(annoying)
3. Since I upgraded it to 2.1, I lost all 3rd party application and the internal apps were the only left, so I copied all my saved apps (.apk) to my sd card but the problem is there is no saved app on my phone to read and install those apps from my sd card.(irritating)
4. My device wont read my sim card, when I start it it says "sim card unprovisioned" so basically I cant connect to mobile networks here in the philippines(im using globe telecom). I feel that Im stucked in the middle of nowhere since I cannot contact and txt all my family and friends.
5. I cant connect to wifi,, when my device detects wi-fi, I try to connect to it but from the log it only try to connect but doesn't obtain the ip address. Even when the wi-fi signal is strong, it does the same thing.
So please help me guys,,I want to hear from my fellow xda-developers badly,,,
PS. also those who have problems with their LG GT540 pls feel free to post and share it with us here... thank you all guys in advance....

hmmm maybe there are no fastboot drivers(main suspect....) there are a few ways to get it but for mine i just plug my phone in to my pc (windows 7 64bit) it just recognize it and tries to get the "google fastboot interface" drivers from windows update...
Try Volume Up+Search Key+Power to go into Fast boot Mode, There's different keys to activate Fastboot Mode (There is different versions of Fastboot)

Your phone is/was bricked
Hey, I'm sorry to bing back such an old thread, but I just wanted to say this for posterity: your phone has/had a soft-brick. This means: you can't see Android nor LG boot logos, can't enter Recovery and (maybe) can't access Fastboot, but I'm not too sure on that last one. Besides that, the phone works "okay", but you should try to fix it.
Basically this soft-brick is almost always caught when upgrading from 1.6 to 2.1, so everyone should have it, including me. It took me a whole year to realize how to friggin' fix it lol, but here goes what I did:
Thanks for your help everyone, I came to a solution after a full year lol. Here's my enlightenment, from another Thread:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wanted to leave my 2 cents here, I've been trying to do my best since around august 2014, no success. 2 days ago I retried this, and I DID IT! I will tell everyone what I did very shortly:
My problem that I solved: I can boot, device works like a charm. But: no boot logos, no recovery.
My solution for TL;DR: UNINSTALL ALL DRIVERS FROM DEVICE MANAGER 1ST, then reinstall. After that, flash a fastboot ROM and use it to WIPE ALL THE DATA IN YOUR PHONE! THIS was what I needed and was never explained: you had to WIPE the old data in order to get the boot screens back.
IN THIS ORDER (THANK YOU to those people from previous replies, gathering all your info was of great value):
Uninstall all of your phone drivers from your PC!!! This is what made most of my headaches go away, just use Device Manager and uninstall anything from LGE. After that, plug in your device in your USB ports (always BACK ports, not front ports, important). It should detect all drivers and download them.
IF it fails (it generally does with LGE USB Modem), you can go to Device Manager > Unknown Device (the one that wasn't recognized) > Right Click and Update > Choose 2nd option, then choose "choose from a list of local controllers" (or whatever the button says). After that, scroll down to LG Electronics, Inc. and install what didn't install.
I also found these drivers, but I did not test them: http://www.mediafire.com/download/p693hcz6kkouh19/USB_Driver_LG_GT540.zip
Huzzah!
Now you're set to begin:
FIRST thing you wanna do is a factory reset, this is something I'd forgotten with time, don't make the same mistake as I did. You can do it by turning your phone on and pressing Volume +/- & Home & Quick Search buttons all together for 5 seconds (it works, be patient and wait for it, even if you open the camera or any other stuff).
Download this Google SDK Tools (unzip and put the folder in C:\ drive) and this Fastboot drivers for GT540 (unzip and put the files inside the folder in C:\android-sdk).
Skip this next line if you know your ROM has fastboot.
Now, if you don't have a ROM with fastboot, I recommend you use either European Open+Fastboot or V20C Orange France Fastboot ROM.
Click to collapse
Since you have Fastboot enabled, now all you need to do is turn off your device (all this with its battery on it, no weird things) and hold the Camera button before turning it back on. This should take you either to a black screen, or simply to no display, like me. Either one will work anyways.
Now press the Windows key > Type cmd and open it with Right Click > Run as Administrator.
In it, type all this, command by command (you can paste by right clicking):
cd C:\android-sdk
fastboot -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot -w
fastboot reboot
Click to collapse
And now it's go time! Do what everyone else says in here: Take out your phone's battery, SD and SIM cards, fire KDZ Updater up as Administrator (If your KDZ freezes, then it's either faulty or you did not install msxml, look for a good KDZ that comes with that file and delete your current one), choose CS_Emergency PhoneMode and:
1-Plug your phone while holding the volume DOWN button (don't worry! My phone didn't show "Download Mode" either, if you hear the Windows "Somethingpluggedin" Bump noise, it's ok).
2-Flash French V20A
3-Unplug your phone once KDZ says "==FINISHED==".
4-Plug it once again, holding the volume DOWN button.
5-Flash out.kdz (remember! it's CS_Emergency).
Click to collapse
THANK YOU XDA!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, if you look in here you'll find how to flash an awesome ROM, Cyanogen Mod 10 (should say "Final Version#2).
EDIT: SOLUTION (Not a fix)
For those who are stuck at "50% saying current account is different from the a/c info of device"
It is due to the database miss-match in their server ,the possible sollution are :
Remember: for MediaTek devices you will have to first flash a China Dev ROM onlu then you can get the unlock successful.
But this is not a recommendation for Qualcomm Devices.
1. Go to i.mi.com and look weather your device shows up in the find device (this is required only to be sure as to your device is connected to their server and they have updated the info on your Device too).
2. Reset your Phone sign in and turn on find device. turn on usb debug and oem unlock connect to pc allow whatever is asked on your phone also check always trust, then open adb folder and open cmd there and type adb devices your phone will ask for authorisation allow it and check always trust.
3. Mail your concern with user ID and also the snapshot of the error as they will ask for it,to your regional service (I am an indian so i had to mail it at [email protected])(just google contact xiaomi) wait for their reply.
You can PM these persons on MIUI forum regarding the 50% stuck issue.
{ EDIT 2:
You may contact these person in MIUI forum:
1) vincent_khoo
2) PatrickXi
( @bravonova gave me these names you may try I haven't cross checked as mailing will most probably solve) }
The last method should Work for everyone as it's a db miss-match which should be fixed after this.
PS: This a solution and not a fix so it will take time.
PPS: Don't blame me for all the trouble Blame Xiaomi.

Ok, so I have been trying to move to miui 8 global beta version now for a long time and haven't succeeded, the updater app says could not verify update package.
I have a pretty good net connection so that's not an issue.
Also If I try download latest rom it says "Can't download update, wait a minute or two" and this it has been saying for about a week now (ironic).
So, I requested for unlocking the bootloader got the confirmation messages after 3 days tried to unlock now stuck at 50% saying "account is different from the account in the phone info"
I don't want to use the fast boot edl method of flashing rom as my lappy keeps getting sudden shutdown, so I don't want it to shutdown in between and get hard bricked.
I have tried MiPc suit but since it cannot do a backup(again app bug) so cannot flash through it.
I have looked in to the mi cloud and my phone does gets located.(possible solution given for unlock bootloader but even that didn't work).
Can anyone please help me on this or will I have to be on this ****ty unrooted Rom forever.
Currently on miui 7.5.3.0 global stable rom.
Any suggestions will be appreciated ty

I fixed this by updating to latest version in miui app in fastboot mode.

I tried entering to recovery mode and then connect to pc but nothing happens, I mean it does not show connected even after say 5 minutes.
Although when trying to enter into the fastboot mode and then connecting to pc the drivers do get install and it shows connected and stucks at 50%
I do have adb drivers RN3 USB drivers installed on my pc
But all things in vain.

when i connect my device in recovery mode nothing happens
For Kenzo / SD / Snapdragon only.
1. Install Mi PC Suite, plug your phone in and install the app on the phone when it prompts (then close mi pc suite) - this provides all the drivers needed for the next step
http://en.miui.com/thread-92720-1-1.html < Mi PC Suite
2. reboot the phone to recovery mode ( Vol UP + Power ), let drivers install on pc - wait, then reboot again to fastboot mode (VOL Down + Power) let drivers install on pc - wait - it might take a few minutes to install the drivers don't unplug the phone during this time.
3. download and install the unlock tool - log into your account, after it checks you have permission press unlock
http://en.miui.com/unlock/ < unlock tool
----------------------------
(if it still fails proceed to next step)
4. use xiao mi flash beta and install the latest kenzo global fast boot image (I have heard some people needed to use the Chinese dev firmware- the global stable worked for me though), use the clean all option selected at the bottom of mi flash. (this will erase ALL data on the phone)- backup before doing this.
http://en.miui.com/thread-281979-1-1.html <- xiao mi flash beta
5. let phone boot up first time, log into the mi account on the phone with your email / password, if your phone number doesn't work then select option to log in with email / password.
6. reboot to fastboot again and press unlock it should proceed now
Do at own risk I am not responsible for bricked devices.

Just wait and watch.. try everyday once and I think you will get in 7-10 more days.
I was also frustated at that time but now I can unlock everysingle time I want when it gets locked.

For Kenzo / SD / Snapdragon only.
1. Install Mi PC Suite, plug your phone in and install the app on the phone when it prompts (then close mi pc suite) - this provides all the drivers needed for the next step

Okay I will try flashing a rom through MiFlash toll b'coz the above methods didn't work and will quote if that's how it gets fixed
Hi,
Messed up badly Furious that ZTE made the phone incompatible with Daydream, decided to root the device. Tried various ROMs, but could never get the modem to work in the UK. Eventually tried to reinstall Chinese stock ROM and, to my surprise, the modem still didn't work. Attempted to restore the modem files from TWRP backup and bricked the phone completely. Can only boot into Chinese recovery where only ADB sideload enables the phone to be seen by Windows as Android ADB Interface. EDL mode cannot be seen and Axon7toolkit cannot see the phone even in ADB sideload mode. Attempts to update software result in this message: Package expects build fingerprint of ZTE/P996A03/ailsa_ii:6.0.1/MMB29M/20161027.021856:user/release-keys or ZTE/P996A03/ailsa_ii:7.1.1/NMF26F/20170224.135053:user/release-keys ; this device has ZTE/P996A03/ailsa_ii:7.1.1/NMF26V/20170912.013327:user/release-keys. Most likely, updates won't work anyway, because when the phone was running, updates resulted in a mismatch. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

You messed up real bad. I assume you forgot to flash the modem files when you flashed the custom ROMs?
EDL mode cannot be seen? What do you mean by that? Keep the Device Manager open, phone disconnected; then hold both volume buttons, wait 5 seconds, connect the USB cable while you are holding them, and wait 3 seconds more before releasing them. The device manager should refresh.
The phone should appear under Ports (COM & LPT) or under USB devices as QUSB_BULK. If it is under USB devices you have to right click on it, Uninstall -> Delete driver software. After that hold all 3 buttons for a long time (both volume buttons and power) and device manager should refresh itself. It should install the Qualcomm driver then. If the driver is ZTE handset diagnostic interface, you'll have to disassemble the phone

Thanks. The phone is listed as ZTE Handset Diagnostic Interface(DFU) (COM10) in Ports. It is listed as Unknown USB Device in USB Controllers and following the procedure you described doesn't install the Qualcomm driver. I take it, then, that an engineer would have to disassemble the phone.

Or you. Follow the 4th category brick repair manual. I'm just rewriting it but it'll take time
Where are you getting adb sideload from?

Well, with your help I may snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. I'll ask one of the local engineers to dismantle the phone according to your guide and we'll see what we can do. The adb sideload screen is in this photo.
Thanks again.

You still have one other option though. May save you.
Do you have an SD card? If not, get at least a 4 GB one (or one with 3gb free), download an official A2017 update package, unzip it and put the update.zip in the sd card. (If you get a bunch of folders instead of a file called update.zip just take the original zip and put it in the SD).
after that, put it in the sd card and select the option that says 'sd'.
It may work. Right now it's your best shot at not taking it apart

That's forbidden. When I've tried to update from the SD card using that option, I get a message saying I don't have permission to update from the SD card. I will, however, try again because you've mentioned some things that are slight variations on what I've done before.

Yeah, it's possible. But I have one more idea. Can you try one other thing?
There's a way to get to EDL if you have only DFU mode, which is by getting adb (not adb sideload, just normal adb) and issuing "adb reboot edl". If you can get adb (i think you may have adb from the main recovery screen) then you can get to EDL and flash stuff with MiFlash. Try to issue 'adb reboot edl' when you are on the main screen of the recovery mode.
The other way, which might work on your state, is turning the phone off and holding volume down + power. It might open FTM mode (it's a white rectangle in the middle of the screen with the words FTM written on it, can't miss it). If you get there just issue 'adb reboot edl' and flash with MiFlash

Thanks, but I've already tried it. The phone only communicates with the computer in adb sideload mode, so trying adb reboot edl results in an "error:closed" message. If not in sideload mode, adb cannot even register a device. Occasionally, I've seen a small Linux penguin in the middle of the screen and today it hung on the MiFavor logo for some time. If those are significant, I don't know how to get them back. The ZTE engineers have been very thorough. It's frustratiing because the adb sideload thing might work with the right software package, and I can clear the cache and wipe the system; but then I'm back to square one. Your suggestion about dismantling the phone sounds like the most promising path forward and I will have a go tomorrow.

So you get the 5 seconds screen? Have you tried to enter fastboot?
If I'm right, you get the Linux penguin when you hit the power button when you are on the 5 seconds screen (the 'Your device can't be checked for corruption' screen). If it appears, use a volume button to get to the options, select 'Bootloader' and try to enter Bootloader mode. It should have fastboot, being an A2017.
If you get to fastboot you can issue 'fastboot boot twrp.img' and your phone will boot into TWRP. Take Lineage, the Universal Bootloader and the A2017 modem and flash them, then format data, and you'll be good to go.

I do indeed get the 5 seconds screen, but the reason I didn't mention it is that it does nothing from what I can see. The phone "boots" after five seconds, but if I press the volume buttons to enter options, Bootloader is not one of them. The Fastboot option just makes the phone reboot and the Recovery option sends me to the screen in the photo upthread. Like I say, they've been very thorough.

Curioser and curioser. I went through the steps to short circuit the test point on the motherboard and MiFlash successfully flashed the Unbrick ROM which you advised. Obviously, the Qualcomm drivers were recognised e.t.c. The state of the phone now is that it is caught in a boot loop. It shows the ZTE screen and the 5-second screen. Going into recovery on the 5-second screen causes the ZTE logo to appear again, then the battery icon keeps showing, switching off and showing again. The Fastboot mode on the 5-second screen now takes me to the Fastboot screen, but entering recovery causes the same battery loop. Did I make a mistake reassembling the phone perhaps? Should I try to flash a different ROM from the test point?

So now you have fastboot? Put the TWRP-3.2.1-0.img on the adb folder, then open CMD, navigate to that folder, write 'fastboot boot TW" and press Tab, the filename should appear, if it does hit Enter
If you get to TWRP don't turn the phone off, and flash the universal bootloader, Lineage, the A2017 modem, and Magisk 15.2

Sorry, I didn't make that clear. The 5-second screen directs me to Fastboot, but there are only four options there: Start (doesn't work, obviously), Restart Bootloader (brings you back to the same place), Shut down and Recovery (goes to battery icon). Don't know what went wrong--maybe a connection got damaged when the phone was dismantled--but I discover I can't repeat the short circuiting thing and, even though the phone is seen on the system as Qualcomm 90.., MiFlash cannot flash anything different. I despair. I'll send the phone for recycling. Making the Axon 7 incompatible with Daydream was the last straw. I very much appreciate your help just the same.

No, when you are on the screen with the 4 options you have Fastboot. That is the bootloader mode. Get there and issue 'fastboot devices' and you'll see that you got fastboot from there.
Don't repeat the 4th category manual, just turn the phone off and hold volume up and down, then connect the USB. If it appears as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 you're in EDL.
What's the name of the package that you flashed?

You star! I've followed your advice and now it is exactly the phone I was looking for. (I had made a mistake and forgotten to reconnect something in the internals, but the ROM worked just fine once that was sorted and I've flashed all the things you recommended.) Your name will be sung down the ages in my household, Choose an username. Many thanks
This method works for the Mi Max 2 phones (or probably for other Mi phones) when the screen is stuck in black and power button does not work and when you connect device to the PC you see it as Qualcomm HS-USB 9008 or 9006....
(if you see QHUSB_BULK in device manager (or nothing) you should install drivers as mentioned in link below otherwise skip this) en.miui.com/thread-737909-1-1.html
1. Download Fastboot Rom from this link (the file extension should be .tar or .tgz or .tg) be careful in selecting right device:
en.miui.com/a-234.html
2. Download and install MiFlash tool on PC:
xiaomiflashtool.com/category/download
3. Extract Downloaded rom into a folder
4. Run MiFlash and Browse to select the folder you extracted rom
5. (IMPORTANT STEP, READ CAREFULLY) hold down VOL+ and VOL- buttons simultaneously and connect phone to PC, as soon as possible click on REFRESH and then FLASH buttons. (THIS MUST BE DONE QUICKLY otherwise you will face the error cannot receive hello packat. if you face this error, disconnect the phone from PC, hold down POWER button for at least 20 seconds NOT LESS and close MiFlash and re-open it and repeat step 5)
6. Wait until flashing is done.
7. Disconnect Phone from PC and hold down POWER button until it vibrates.
