Hey im just wondering what other peoples specs are for SetCpu?
12000-1000 is what I'm normally set at..
but as far as Voltage and Advance settings I don't know to much in these 2 area's...
so just curious in what people do with these options, and if it increases performance?
Kernal: Matr1x 11.5

I usually set mine to 1200 200 set it on lazy and its really smooth and very good battery life. I don't mess with the voltage.

I usually undervolt and keep the stock 1000 / 100 (usually able to get about -75mV from each level w/ 100% stable. At -125mV I start to notice some instability.)
When I OC though I usually keep the voltage at stock and go 1200 / 250.
Anything over 1200 at stock and I find my phone starts getting unstable - everyone's is different though.
Interactive or Lazy Governors for both.
Currently running NexusBeam 4.1 and Glados 2.2.
Thinking about flashing back to ver. 3 though.
Thanks guys.. you guys dont touch options in advance?

Is there any way we can alter the kernel so that we can set the charging current for our device?
I would like to change the AC charging down to 750mah from 1ah so that my phone gets fully charged.
I am interested in this too. Is this even possible? Or will I have to charge it by PC, as I am doing now?
I know it is possible because it is possible on other phones. It is the kernel that controls it

I think franco or maybe blefish could manage it, they are working with kernels.

Hello guys. I just want know that which is USB 3 port for charging galaxy s3. My pc have 4 USB port at back & 2 USB port on front. What which is the USB 3 port for USB charging on siyah kernal. Thanx
What? Use any port on your computer to charge your phone, kernel doesn't matter. Sorry if I'm mistaken just confused by your 'question'.
your PC needs to have USB 3.0 ports.. USB 2.0 Ports won't be of any help if you are planning on using 900mA for USB charging on siyah's kernel.

No. Charge with any USB port is normal for everyone. But with siyah kernal & with USB 3 port it increase the charging speed which is not normal. Its great benefit with USB 3 port.

Don't shoot me if i'm wrong but I believe the colour of the usb 3.0 ports are blue instead of the white used on usb 2.0 ports.

Well in that case yeah, USB 3.0 will charge faster than 2.0, but it doesn't matter what kernel you use, 5v 900ma is standard for usb 3.0 vs 500ma for 2.0. Unless the phone is restricted to a certain charge rate.
Also, I've been using siyah kernel for some time now and do notice even with USB 2.0 if you set it to 900ma usb charge it does charge faster. About 1% a minute compared to 1% per 5 minutes.
thanx all. I confirmed & my problem solved.
Need to set something or simply plug into USB3?
hello, I'm new user of custom fw (Criskelo ROM) on my gt-i9300 and I'm using syiah kernel, so I would like to use charging by USB3 on my PC.
Is it needed to set something in phone or faster charging will be automatic?
You have to set the USB charge current in STweaks. 900mA would be safe
Ok. Thanx, but where can I find STweaks? I tried to google it, but didnt find it....

Yeah, I've found it on googleplay - its called system tweaks, and when Ive instaled it, the icon is called STweaks I've set max usb current to 900mA
I have been using SmartassH3.
What is a good governor that can potentially save battery life?
I like to have it so when the screen is off it is using the least battery as possible.
When it is on I'm not draining battery (like if I'm only using facebook for example) it shouldn't go to the max setting.
Here are my setting
162MHz and 1998MHz
Kernal 3.4.49 AGAT Gs3 v0.3.3+ on MF9
Thanks for the input
As a new s4 owner im wondering thr same thing.

Is there any way to change the USB charge rate on the note 3?

No
If u root u can control the charging rate using devils kernel.

you can try faux123 kernel (if you have not upgraded to KitKat). There you can enable fastcharge. For stock devices (kernels): USB 2.0: about 500mA USB 3.0 about 900mA AC: about 2000mA
Or you could use a different charger/cable.

I didn't think there were any kernels for the note 3 besides the linux one?

I can't seem to find this kernel for the verizon version. 500mA isn't enough when im using my appradio in my car

I am not sure honestly. Devils kernel was available for my s3 so I assumed for note 3 as well
