This is how I flashed a rom to my sdcard for dual booting
This method is for roms that use normal updater-script
If you want to do this with a rom that uses the aroma installer such as Nottachtrix go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25901115#post25901115
I was only able to achieve this after following sendust7 linux guide for dual boot and adapting to windows so all credit goes to him.
His method IMHO is better but if you are hell bent on doing this with windows then here it is
Again these are the steps I took. If you try this and break something I'm not responsible.
Pre-requisites
Notepad++
Minitool partition wizard
Android SDK (google adb for dummies to get everything you need)
Cygwin (if you dont have it start install now and it might be done when its time to use it)
The rom zip you want on your sdcard
Moto-fastboot (search this forum)
Knowledge of ADB and fastboot
Fully Charged Battery
winrar
boot.img from rom currently flashed to phone (pull this from rom.zip that you currently have flashed to phone
Backup everything from internal and external sdcard
NANDROID NOW!!!!!!
Insert sdcard into computer and open minitool partition wizard.
Create four partitions and format them with the same filesystem that the rom uses (ext3 or ext4) name them accordingly (system data and cache) and make primary.
These are the partition sizes I went with and only because i didnt feel like adjusting the slider anymore. But These values did ensure they were big enough to hold the phone partitions. The first partition is whats left over after resizing other partitions and will be formatted to fat32
first partition is whats left over and formatted as fat32
system=353 MB

2.go to magldr menu and 2 nd option (ad sd) then press call button
3.then it will take you to recovery mode
4.flash the rom(paranoid 1.99 or 2)
5.after that your sd card will have folder called nativesd click on folder inside there will be one more folder pa
6.copy zimage & intrid files
7. before that delete the zimage & intrid files of recovery from root of your sd card

he can't install that warez in his PC/ NB.
@LinChina
i think recovery(CWM) only makes EXT3 but i'm not really sure about that, your best bet is use a pc that can have those warez on it
or this, if you can place & unzip the file in your NB
3a Use the provided 4EXT recovery (NAND or SD version) to create the partitions and format them.

NativeSD Dual Installer v2

Now I know ..but the first post is for people who don't have magldr or android on nand....SD recovery is not needed when you have cwm recovery inbuilt in magldr
Easy steps
1. Use minitool partition manager on PC to make sdext4 partition (cwm makes only ext3 ..so is not useful)
2. Copy your favorite native SD rom zip folder to SD card
3. In magldr ..go to ad recovery..install zip from SD...then follow instructions ..default path install is SD ext
4. Reboot
Enjoy

Hi everyone, it only looks that I'm a new user, it's because i've never posted anything before. I have Hd2 for almost 2 years from now and like 1,5 year being passive user on XDA. Anyway I do have problems that i can't manage myself. OP asked a dumb question, only if he has Android Nand or Windows Mobile, however... nobody ever tried making it work with WP7? I've been working on it few hours and don't have a clue how to do it. I've deleted my FAT32 partition and split it into Fat32+Ext4. If EXT is logical, WPH boots and show "Storage Card not working", but if it's primary it doesn't even boot. Is there anyway to solve this thing? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

^ Glad to know you got it working :highfive:
I like to try nativeSD Android roms, but with MAGLdr it runs into a deadlock as MAGLdr does not support WinMo 6.5.
Is there a way to use NativeSD? even better with multiboot?
Hi at all,
today I installed ACA NativeSD on partition EXT4 into my sd card. I copy and paste the 2, zImage, intrid file which I fund in NativeSD/ACA folder, into root of my sd card. I rebooted and when I choose Boot AS SD in MAGLDR the ROM do not boot.
What I do wrong?

you must copy the 2 files from "<SDCARD>/NativeSD/ACA" to "<SDCARD>/NativeSD" (and not to "<SDCARD>/" )

but I got already 2 file in there (zImage & intrid), do I have to relace them? Anyway if I try to set up the AD SD Dir from Magldr I do not see the NativeSD folder so will not boot anyway. I think I have problems with 4EXT but I am not sure.

yes, you must replace the 2 files...
why you can't see the folder: check on a PC, if the folder has hidden attribute... or try to create a new folder, copy all files from the old to the new, delete old and rename new folder...

ok, I will replace them.
Why I do not see the folder? I ask my self the same question and I don't know why, anyway my card is recognized and the folder is there, if will be hidden I will not see the folders, I also put different card into my hd2 with different folders and still the same. I think the 4EXT recovery make something wrong with partitions or I do.

" NativeSD Installation for Windows Mobile and other OS users :
Code:
1. Boot into recovery by executing the usual clcad and haret stuff inside the Recovery folder
2. Flash the ROM.zip package and follow instructions
3. Reboot and boot the ROM by executing the usual clcad and haret stuff inside the native sd folder"
This was quoted from the first op in the native sd thread. So yes it is possible but please be sure to read that op carefully good luck

first you need 4ext partition on your sd card...Then
Extract and copy 4ext Sd recovery folder from the native sd thread onto your sd card
copy the zip file(dont extract) of your chosen nativesd rom to your sd card....then follow the instructions in above post

Another simple question - Flash the ROM.zip package and follow instructions - What does that mean (Flash the Rom.zip)??
Chris
- Copy nativesd rom package to your SD card for example. "Mokee_V1.6B_NATIVESD.zip". Do not unzip
- Run clrcad.exe and haret.exe from 4EXTRecovery. That will bring you to rom installation menu which you can choose Mokee_V1.6B_NATIVESD.zip

I keep getting an error after I clrcad/haret from within recovery folder
It starts up then:
E:can't find misc
"E:failed to find "cache" partition to mount at "/cache"
It shows both partitions - ext4 and fat 32 then - "E:failed to find "cache" partition to mount at "/cache"
If i use install from sdcard in main menu, i just get a blank screen...
Any ideas?

mac4a folder size is 347mb.....m i doing it wrong?
plz reply fast. I m waiting for ur reply.
It sounds like you have extracted the zip and put it on your sd card, instead of installing the zip from recovery.
Have you created an ext4 partition on your sdcard?
finally u got my problem....yes, i have extracted zip file and put all the 5 folders on sd card...but not done ext4 .....plz help me.....explain the solution in detail.
plz, reply fast......
please, reply....still waiting
how to install zip from recovery? Plz help.
it is best to use minitool partition wizard http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html which you might have already. Be careful to identify which is your sdcard and which is your pc and/or hard drive, you do not want to delete your hard drive
Assuming you have FAT32 on the left and an "unformatted" partition on the right (which holds your WP7), you need to create a new ext4 partition from the fat32 partition in the middle, without touching the wp7 partition.
So delete the fat32 partition, then create a 2gb smaller fat32 (primary, default clusters) using the slider on the right
Then create the 2gb ext4 partition (primary, default clusters) in the middle.
Press the tick to actually start the process, or undo if you made a mistake.
You should then have 1st fat32, 2nd ext4, 3rd "unformatted" (it may say "other" for filesystem=wp7) all primary.
You then need to put an sd recovery on the fat32, such as https://goo.im/devs/Xylograph/Various/Recoveries/SD/
unzip it and put the folder with the files in it on your sd card.
put the rom.zip also on the sdcard do not unzip it.
put card in phone
magldr 10 services > 1. bootsettings > ad sd dir and select the recovery folder with the files in it
magldr 2 boot ad sd
install the rom nativeSD
after reboot, magldr 10 services > 1. bootsettings > ad sd dir and select NativeSD
magldr 2 boot ad sd
profit?
Please do not post your questions in the development section any more, people will tend to either ignore you or flame you.
thanks for reply....r u sure there r 3 partitions..? Bec from the video tutorial by dxdy there r only 2 partitions(unallocated and fat32)...and there is no recovery folder or files.....in that video he only copy extracted rom files to sd card.....is ext4 really important?
i have also done the way you said it except ext4 partion.... downloaded the recovery twrp 2.2.2.0 leo sd.zip extracted it and put that folder in sd card with rom.zip ...then selected ad sd dir but there is no native sd option....after selecting boot ad sd still getting same error. It says 'sd kernel open failed'....plz guide me

Yes, for mac4a rom that you want to install, it must have an ext4 partition to install NativeSD.
The roms that dxdy was talking about are sd builds, which are now superceded by NativeSD.
You could just chose an [SD] build from http://forum.xda-developers.com/hd2-android/sd-dev if you don't want to run the risk of re-partitioning and losing your wp7, laptop or hard drive.
thanks alot for reply....as u said i have created fat32 of 1.69gb but dont show ext4 option it shows ext2 and ext3 so i selected ext3 of 1.45gb....will it make any difference? Can i continue with ext3?

I think you will need to create an Ext4 partition of at least 1Gb on your Fat32 partition, either with minitool partition wizard or use Extended TWRP as your recovery.
my tut is too old from times when android run from FAT32 sdcard...
for nand version procedure is different and i not make tut for that
i sold my HD2 two years ago and since then i cant test this options....
THIS IS ONLY FROM MY MEMORY (maybe i write something wrong or forgot some steps)
for NAND ROM installation you need 4EXTRecovery for SDcard... not sure for complete procedure but first make WP7 partition (look my old tut) and rest left for android...
put 4EXTRecovery on SDcard (for example in A folder)
boot to magldr
10.Services, 1.BootSettings, 3.AD SD Dir, select "A"
10.Services, 1.BootSettings, 1.Boot source, 1. Android from SD
2.Boot AD SD
wait to load 4EXTRecovery
advanced - Partition SD card
select minimum 512 mb, this is EXT4 partition for system, rest of memory if you want is FAT32
2nd sd-ext skip
swap skip
Yes - I'm sure
EXT4
wait format to complete
red button to back to main menu when format complete...
now is ready to install ROM...
togle usb storage (in 4EXTRecovery)
copy ROM in zip file to SDcard
Next, Next, Agree, Next - Install on NativeSD/semi NativSD - Format (yes)
RMNET Connection
select options you want, after restart when boot to magldr just select which system you want boot
10.Services, 1.BootSettings,
thanks for this....dual boot hd2 finaly succeded
ur video tut is still useful....thanks alot
