Hi all,
Can anyone advise me if I will need to change my APN settings for using my S3 with a AT&T sim card in Vegas?
Not sure if it will automatically connect or if I will need to manually change it?
Cheers
Mark
You probably will. Ask the people on the s3 att forum for the apn.

So I've been debating on switching over to the S3, but I have grandfathered T-Zones. So in order to take full advantage of the AWS data speeds without getting the upsell message, I need to get the Wind Mobile T999V (Canadian model). I've searched high and low, no luck . Checked eBay... nada. Checked Google, even checked wind mobile's website...they don't ship to the USA. I'm soo sad. I've been wanting to jump on the S3 party for a while. If anyone knows where I can get the t999V, I will love you forever! Please help

How is this wrong forum? This is galaxy s3 forum isn't it?

Yes it is but there's different sections for each model.
I typed this by hand.
Sorry. I'll repost elsewhere. Ignore this thread

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so I apologize if it isn't. What are the current working Rogers APN settings both general and LTE-specific? Thanks

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the LTE APN settings will work for regular network stuff or is there a separate APN for that. If there is, can someone please post that as well?

I ran it for a while on my N4 and when I was out of an LTE zone it dropped down to HSPA+ with no problems so I think you can just use the LTE apn.
Hello,
Just wondering if there is anyway to get 3G and voice at the same time? I know this is do able over 4G but just wondering if it's available over 3G like the GS3 can. Thanks!

Short answer. No.

On the Sprint GS4, no only on WiFi or LTE.

Buy an Evo 4G LTE on Ebay and activate it. For some reason Samsung didn't include SVDO in the S4.

Lol. I have an EVO LTE and a Galaxy S3. No need to go back to those. NV is going on where I live so I'm not to worried. Was just wondering if it was something the devs here could change.

Its not possible to change it since its a physical thing on the phone. Not software.

Okay. I never knew it was a physical thing within the phone. That's good to know though. Seems like Samsung or Sprint would have included this.

Other carriers do, not Sprint. Probably because their network is so terrible.

When I try to view the S4 accessories forum on my S4, in the new XDA premium app, I get Sent to something else... Any ideas?

Not using premium, but I get to the correct forum. Might be something with premium
I have the old premium on my E4GT, and it takes me to the correct places... It might be the new app.

I noticed the same thing with the new app. I am sure it will get fixed once they kniw about it (if they dont already). Maybe there is a xda forum post about the app to let them know/see if it has already been brought to their attention.

Also the forum rules aren't accessible either. Very laggy and kinda slow in general

Nice to know it boots up. You could have backed up and restored APNs to get data to work.

I tried this with a Sammy Deluxe ROM and had little luck because the dev didn't implement an APN menu...

Yea that's what I'm facing... I've even flashed back to 4.3 and used APN backup and restore but APN doesn't work with 4.4...
I just nandroid restored, but I only get 3g, no 4g. Not sure how my APNs are still screwed up despite a restore...
