Thx and goodbye - Atrix 4G General

Just bought a SGS3 and sold my Atrix for 180€.
The reason is that with the new company in 2 years I'm going to save 200€ with a fully supported device, unlike Atrix.
I would like to thank everyone, in particular TopoGigi for his great rom.
Bye bye guys!
:good:

I'll be joining you in March

I think we should open a thread dedicated to "goodbyes".

Happy New Year!

I know this may not quite be the right forum for this, but I did want to wish all of you users and developers a great and happy new year! I bought my first Android phone on Jan. 5th (the Nexus One) and coming over from 2.5 years of iPhone, I haven't looked back. This forum is what continues to spark and keep my interest in the platform, be it playing with some shiny ROMs or chiming in on interesting ideas and debates.
I've learned a ton from everyone here and I wish XDA and all its users the best! Cheers to a great 2011!!
(Posting in N1 and NS forums, as they were/are my first and current phones)
Happy New Year to you aswell.

Goodbye Thread for GT540 users

Well guys, our device isn't getting any younger, and many of us have got new devices. In order to keep the forums cleaner this thread is meant for saying goodbye.
I've got a Nexus S, but I still have GT540 lying around, I just want to say thanks to our devs for making our device such a wonderful and interesting experience, also I want to thank everyone who helped me and answered my mostly stupid questions. I'll still visit GT540 forums but probably less often.
Again, thanks everybody!!!
Odlicna promena, nek te sluzi bolje nego gt540.

I'll continue using your ROMs, they're the best.

Goodbye too
I say goodbye to the community GT540 too. I bought a Galaxy S i9000. So thanks to all the developers who keep this device alive.
I didnt want to create a new topic, so I wrote it here
hi guys,
bought a LG Optimus 2x ...
last rom i flashed to gt540 was miro's last AOSP because there is no need for swap (and an sd-card) and its stable and fast...
But know he has also left so its time to change ...
I'll randomly look into this forum, but for now I'll molest the devs in Optimus 2x-Thread
Goodbye!!!
Bye man
i got my HTC One V a few months ago. just gave my GT540 away to charity (screen was broken for the 4th time anyways , and couldnt get the motivation to fix it) still look in these forums from time to time, for nostalgia purposes i guess goodbye to you all and it's been a great 3 years
After a long time away i decided to stop in here for a while. The gt540 was my first android phone, in fact it was my first smart phone. Since then i have had galaxy s, galaxy s2, desire hd, hd2, iphone 4, 4s and 5.... In no particular order.
Learning how to root and install roms were all part of the fun and learning. It was great being part of this community.
And now i must say..... Goodbye

Goodbye if you have a little time give this old thread a short stroll
Farewell dear friends, I changed my phone with a clone dell'S3, I had fun with you and hope to meet again one day. With some of you there have been controversies, but I love you and I appreciate the work you have done for this phone, I will not forget! Thanks for everything .. bye!

Goodbye A500

I have said a sad goodbye to this great tablet (and my DINC2 smartphone) Going to a Samsung galaxy 2 Note for all my needs. Anyone interested in a great condition 32gb A500 with lots of accessories. Please PM me
Elliot
Rather than start a new thread I'll say my goodbye here too. I'll be ordering a Nexus 10 this week and put the old A500 out to pasture in my mother's possession. Truly an amazing tablet and amazing devs here at xda. 4.1 really made this tablet a beast. I'm glad I chose to be an early adopter for Android tablets. And the A500 will have a special place as my first tablet and first device I ever built my own firmware for. Its been a good run.
Sorry folks, XDA doesn't allow selling of items in the forums. And since the Marketplace is closed, we partnered with Swappa. So you'll need to advertise there.
And yeah, the 500/501 is a beast! Wife uses the 501, and I migrated to the A701 (gotta have that 3g).
So now, I must close the thread.

Happy New Year!

As we step into 2014, many things awaits us. There are uncountable things happening on XDA each day, including ROM releases, updates, people screaming for help, and of course, the developers who spend countless hours writing ROMs for us.
To all developers, you have been working countless of hours for us to enjoy more customization, more Android. This is all created, due to the developer's will, and determination. We all love updates, bug fixes, but a New Year is a New Year, celebrate all you want, and when u come back, to write more code, you know you're refreshed, ready to go and fix more and more bugs. Happy New Year to you, developers.
People might have bricked their phones or lost their IMEI, and they know, XDA is the place to come. I thank you, for placing faith and trust in their members of XDA. Through the process of helping others, we have learnt something. We all have to start somewhere, don't we? Some may have started as a i-just-moved-to-android-from-ios-what-now, and may have progressed to become a Recognized Contributor, keep even a Developer. As we leave 2013 behind, I'm sure that members of XDA, will always be there to provide assistance to others.
Lastly, to our beloved Samsung Galaxy Note II, Happy New Year to u. You have accompanied us, throughout our bootloops and bricks (RIP hard bricked Note IIs) but have most of the time (if not all) recovered from those and continue to become a faithful phablet. As the New Year passes, I hope for more cool and awesome ROMs to go with your utterly stunning hardware. (S-Pen, u shall be loved)
Stepping into a new year is like being a new-born baby, you don't know what will happen, you don't know how will it happen, you don't know anything. On this note, I would like to wish all XDA members a very Happy New Year, and hope that 2014 will be as fruitful as 2013 was. (Or more, I don't care. )
Once again, a very Happy New Year to all XDA members!
Happy new year to all of you!

Goodbye and thanks for the ride

Well the beloved S3 is on eBay and I have in my hands a new beautiful and very exclusive One Plus One.
So its time to say thanks for all the help and entertainment for the last couple of years on this forum, as was the case before with the SGS1 and Nexus S forums where I enjoyed myself equally.
I have to say Sammy's reluctance / inability to upgrade is SGS3 users to Kitkat has soured my allegiance to to the Samsung line of flagship devices, but I'm excited about my venture with this fantastic new handset running CM11s and heading over to the OPO XDA forums.
Thanks and good luck guys!
