I have searched and read everywhere, cannot find the right way to make my TmoUS HD2 tether thru wifi!
I've tried 3 roms, Boyppc-Shiftpda, Cyanogen Mod and Angeldeath's rom, it works on none!
tried Barnacle, Wifi Tether, inbuilt, didnt help!
I mean is there a specific trick that makes it work?
Please help!

I have the same problem ... I have a HD2 and I am using [CWR]_BOYPPC-CM7_HoneyComB_V41 ROM but Wifi Tether doesn't work !! I ve tried many things without any success.
Is there anybody who have a solution ?

Hello, it seems that nobody else has this problem !! after few days looking for a solution, I found a new Rom and now it's working great.

Which rom is it. I have a similar problem where only barnacle seems to work.

The NDT Sense 3.0 Pyramid v6 said WiFi tether working, there's this 3rd party wifi tether included in the rom, but when connected, shows limited connectivity, anyone aware of the solution for this problem?
Hello, I'm using Typhoon Cyanogen-mod 7 Nightly v3.6.9 - 2.3.7 tytung r12.4 MAG ROM on my HTC HD2, and since Typhoon Cyanogen-mod 7 Nightly v3.6.5 ROM, I have a problem with incoming and outgoing calls. The problem is that the WiFi turns on automatically on calls and i don't know if it's a issue or I must do something in settings. Can anyone help me?
Im using this build now and im not facing any aforementioned problem. Maybe you should try flashing the build again and if the glitch still exists, you should go to the the build's forum and ask for a solution.

I don't even know if it is supported on the newer roms and bootloaders.
As far as the roms? I'd check out civato's flexreaper roms, they are awesome. He also has a guide to put on the ICS bootloaders as well.
If all else fails just keep reading and snooping around the threads, your bound to find what your looking for

ok i am running Anurags pure aokp heres link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2043595,the rom is great only problem I am having right now is when I connect to wifi I get terrible wifi speeds,I have also had this happen on a few other aokp roms but not on pacmans rom for example so I know it isnt my connection or setup,My mobile data test out find btw an get great speeds kind of makes me wonder if it could be something to do with the kernel?could possibly flashing a new kernel fix this issue?any help or insight on how to fix slow wifi as a search does not show much results for our device an cant seem to find the info I need,I had to post here because I don't have many post or would of directly posted to the roms thread,I am running the rom on nand with a tmobile hd2 with latest radio,maglr,with touch clockwork recovery,thanks guys I'm sure somone else has noticed this issue an probably has a fix for it..
