ok i am running Anurags pure aokp heres link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2043595,the rom is great only problem I am having right now is when I connect to wifi I get terrible wifi speeds,I have also had this happen on a few other aokp roms but not on pacmans rom for example so I know it isnt my connection or setup,My mobile data test out find btw an get great speeds kind of makes me wonder if it could be something to do with the kernel?could possibly flashing a new kernel fix this issue?any help or insight on how to fix slow wifi as a search does not show much results for our device an cant seem to find the info I need,I had to post here because I don't have many post or would of directly posted to the roms thread,I am running the rom on nand with a tmobile hd2 with latest radio,maglr,with touch clockwork recovery,thanks guys I'm sure somone else has noticed this issue an probably has a fix for it..

I have darkstone SuperRAM FroYo v1 on my HD2 and it runs great with the exception of one problem. My data connection doesn't work most of the time. I usually have "H" with the up and down arrow both gray. Even if I have 5 bars of service, my data almost never works. When I'm running WinMo 6.5 however, my data connection works perfectly.
I've tried to find threads related to my problem, but I just can't seem to find an answer.
I appreciate any help from you guys!
Is it the Nand rom? I think Darkstone mentioned that it is experimental not for daily use.
just change your rom to stable one.
Well this has happened in all versions of Android that I've tried. Do you think upgrading the radio would help?

Did you set up the APN with the correct settings?

Try the 2.15.50.14 this rocks I get a steady 3g signal with the androi-ppc-shiftpda

I have searched and read everywhere, cannot find the right way to make my TmoUS HD2 tether thru wifi!
I've tried 3 roms, Boyppc-Shiftpda, Cyanogen Mod and Angeldeath's rom, it works on none!
tried Barnacle, Wifi Tether, inbuilt, didnt help!

Which rom is it. I have a similar problem where only barnacle seems to work.

Hi folks.
I've just been given this phone by a friend who has just upgraded to a Galaxy S2. I'm running a HTC Sensation myself but the handset looks like it should still be a useful upgrade for my daughter if I could get a custom ROM on it.
Almost all the DL links from the DEV sub-section seem down though. I did get Jazzman's ROM eventually but can anyone still playing with this device tell me if this is a good, bad or indifferent ROM to try. I don't want to waste time installing a bad'un.
I see from reading other threads that all custom ROMs seemed to have inherited a camera bug which could be partially fixed by reinstalling the default camera app (but no settings are ever saved). Did anyone ever get beyond that or did folks simply get newer phones and move on?
Lastly, if anyone still has a few of the old ROMS DL'd on their computer (Artos' anyone??) and could upload them somewhere for me and others to get access again, then that would be great.
Hoping someone can help. It's definitely too good to be binning it without trying something.....

Hey Crommy, did you upgrade to the latest stock rom? That really soves most of the issues with the device and is quite decent by itself.

there is no latest stock rom for me, i was using a EN-AR Rom B, the latest one is C with no Arabic support , so i downloaded brain master Manila , its Great !, it hangs 80 % less than the old one, Plus its faster,only issue found is the twitter tab when i login it says you are forbidden to use these account, at desktop and mobile browser the account logins normally.
do you have any idea how to install Arabic lang support for reading massages and contacts names?

In case you are wondering I'm really bad at all this and in case I have to reflash or something like that I would be glad if it's possible to explain to me in detail what I have to do
So. I installed the ROM via magldr and clockwork mod, and to my suprise (cynanogen 10.1 jellybean 4.2 didn't work out for me) the OS booted and everything seemed to be ok. However when I wanted to check out the app store, I wasn't able to turn on the internet. I've seen people having issues where a network simply doesn't appear on their list, but I can't ENABLE WiFi connection! The slider that says on/off is greyed out and I can't interact with it in any way.
If there is any additional information needed to solve my issue I'll be happy to provide it. Keep in mind that I am very new to all of this and that I am still learning

I have been looking and i havent been able to find any custom roms that dont have the cm bug which gives you a blue screen of death and makes calls useless on my device. Has anyone else had this problem cause im sure that i am not the only one and if you fixed it what rom did you use?
