yes, by flashing the stock kernel or reflashing your rom.
Thanks
Thank you and colud you tell me where can I download the original kernel?
Thank you:good:
a google or xda search is a good place to start. you can always pull tbe boot.img out of a stock rom and flash it.

easiest newbie method is to just reflash the stock rom
Does a stock kernel just not exist? I don't want to have to change roms to change kernels, if possible.

I have flashed this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738492) over a semaphore kernel and a 2.3.6 and at cwm installing it exited to devil kernel boot logo and since it i cannot get past the Devil kernel logo :S please help me what can i do :S
Calm down, it's not an huge problem. Before you start flashing, you have to know what you're doing.
Just flash the stock rom using Odin, and you will be fine. =)

Hey
yeah i had the same problem when flashing the Devil kernel but after 1-2 battery pulls i got into devils touch recovery.
if thats not helping you could always flash a Semaphore/Stock or whatever kernel with odin and that should give u a new recovery.
if id be you id go to stock rom then flash a kernel with recovery and then flash whatever rom you want from recovery
p.s if you wanna flash a rom with devil kernel you should maybe just flash the kernel first (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1700904) and then flash the rom.
if you have got any questions about roms/kernels/modems or whatever you can PM me and ask
Hey guys just a quick question...I have cleanrom with fauxs kernel but if I wanted to go back to stock kernel would I just flash the boot.img in fastboot? And if so what would be the command for that? Thanks so much!
fastboot flash boot boot.img
As a general note, if a ROM ships with custom kernels, sometimes the depend on features of that kernel. That's not specific to the ROM you are using which may work just fine with stock kernel.

Did you take a stock kernel backup ?
You can either dirty flash the Full Rom to overwrite the kernel to stock or restore a backup.

But I want to try to avoid wiping the device totally, or will I be able to install the ROM without fully wiping my device?
You can extract the kernel from the stock rom.
I think it is a good idea to have a copy of the stock rom in case there is a need to flash back to a stock rom.

Would you be able to tell me how to extract it? I already have a copy of the rom.
Edit - Never mind I got it, Thanks for the help!
If lean kernel has aroma installer then there should be a feature of going back to stock kernel If not then:-
Try pekaka kernel where you've feature of aroma installer and there's a step to revert back to stock kernel.
I usually uses same method to revert back to stock. After that keep backup of your kernel
