When conducting a search, all i could find was this thread, containing the old thinkfree office, which doesnt update on non stock Roms.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131747
Here is the latest Thinkfree office app, updated on stock Rom then extracted to pc.
This only works for Optimus Ones on ANY Rom, and needs activation (to verify your using an Optimus One P500 phone).
This works as both Normal and System app. No need to move to /system.
p.s
Sorry for double posting if another thread already exists with the latest version.
Good work

That was quick, looking forward to some killer kernels in the future.
There are 3 files there *_MEA, *_SEA & *_SWA . Any idea what the difference is between these sources (if any)?

I am not sure what region-specific changes could be in a kernel! Guess I will need to download and have a look. I wanted to add some governors to the kernel -- lulzactiveq mainly, from Gokhan's sources, because I was getting great performance with that on the S3.

Sorry to disappointing you, but codeworkx (Major CM developer) has publicly announced that he's not going to do anything with Exynos based devices because Samsung didn't release a proper documentation for it.
Source:
http://in.androidauthority.com/custom-roms-a-no-go-on-samsung-exynos-powered-smartphones-3097/
Source compile fine out-of-the-box btw (not always the case with Samsung). No device yet, so not sure if it boots (not always the case with Samsung )...

From an AOSP perspective : This means that if anyone is willing to take the effort it should be possible to have a CM10 build up. Unfortunately, the kernel is not the only thing needed and the CM devs are disillusioned with Samsung.
Don't hold your breath, but actually the learnings from S3 which has a decent working build should help if someone wants to do it.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
If anyone is trying to compile the Samsung source drop, a heads up: the Cypress touchkey drivers are missing from the source. Use the driver sources from the I9300 update 5 (/drivers/input/keyboard/cypress). Works fine with that.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
So I don't really understand anything about sources, I have to ask: Is this the Exynos source that devs have been upset about not being able to access?
Uploading official 4.1.2 (might not be final market version yet) ,will be ready tomorrow (Odin flash-able binary, not OTA)
Screen attached for verification.

Hi guys, I've been looking since my early days with the Galaxys S2 & S3 for some port of the AOSP contacts and phone apps working on a Touchwiz Rom and no luck at all. But now with the S4 I've already seen 2 Roms with the TW mixed with some AOSP apps like the Contacts, Phone, Calendar etc... If I'm not wrong the Blackbox and Foxhound ones. I'm using Omega V10,but I extracted the apks (contacts.apk and secphone.apk, this second one the same as in touchwiz) from those zips and luckily got them working by putting them in the system/app folder and rebooting phone. The thing is that the Contacts is the inverted one, blacked, which I don't really like at all. So I extracted them from anGoogle Edition Rom and did the same thing. The Contacts app is now white, but wether I put the Phone.apk from Google Edition or the Secphone.apk that I got from Foxhound, when y open the phone application it says 'contacts has stopped' and crashes, i have no phone app at all but contacts is there and works fine. Any idea on how to solve this? I'd really appreciate any suggestion, thanks in advance!

He is not interested in sharing that info, I sent a PM couple of days ago but no reply. Never mind.
Although I tried some apks from different roms and they kind of worked but not exactly like AOSP.
After using those apks, I got AOSP dialer screen and themed stock contact instead of AOSP. Contacts do not work exactly as on AOSP and not fast enough.
If you wish to try them out, let me know. I can share those apks.

Ok, been dying to ask this.
Been searching everywhere but can't find any good info about new governors introduced in 2.3, Nightmare and HYPER.
Does anybody have a good explanation about those?
And then in relation to the known governors like Ondemand and Interactive for example.
Thanks!
I've been wanting to ask the same. I haven't been able to find any description about those two governor.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369817
That thread has comprehensive info about governors and schedulers, but no mention of nightmare and hyper.

Info about governors (Hyper and others, no Nightmare)... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663809
A bit of info about Nightmare (credit to ming86)...
A modified PegasusQ, less aggressive (Which means not as good performance-wise), and doesn't usually hotplug. It is good for a balance between performance and battery life. May prevent the 'Screen of death' as well, since it doesn't hotplug.

Yes, you can use trickster, might have a busybox problem as some have with 2.3, but other than, yes you can.

Why does STweaks auto-install root on each reboot by default? Anyone flashing the kernel and running STweaks is rooted already, so what's the point?

i would like it if updating root and busybox was left up to the device's owner also, but it is dorimanx's kernel so he can do whatever he wants with it. as a developer he is not obligated to pacify the people choosing to use his kernel.
Trickster reports the BusyBox installation as incomplete, and since the kernel auto-installs busybox on boot too I can't fix it. Seems like a lot happens on every boot that isn't necessary. I'm happy with the kernel, just wish some of those things were dialed back.

the reason trickster reports that is because dorimanx is using a modified busybox to get some things working with his kernel and trickster doesnt recognize it. he said in his thread that he has fixed that and will be with next release.

Honestly if you don't understand then you should stick with the stock kernel. Or stick with this kernels default settings. It's just safer to do till you can get a better understanding of what the settings do.

Google the respective governors & schedulers. They're not unique to this device and will generally operate the same across all the devices that support them. That's going to give you a better understanding than anything that the context of this thread will allow.
When you do feel confident enough to start playing with the settings, do a full back up first.
