Hi all,
I read a lot of posts but I could not find any information on the languages supported by the various ROM. In particular I am interested in Italian. Does anyone can tell me which ROM support it, other than the stock ones?

Hi, my friends at modaco are busy trying to get the Samsung i900 bluetooth routing working properly by taking bits out of the new i908 ROM and cooking a new i900 ROM.
I am looking at trying this from another angle in that I wish to patch the i908 ROM from chinese to english but would like to know what files I need to replace and where is the setting that determines the system language.
I see there are 0404 language files, I have corresponding 0409 language files from the latest WWE ROM but I'm assuming there must be some registry setting or something that I will need to hack to tell the system to refer to which code?
I am still a newbie but have cooked several custom ROMs and made hacks etc, I have some experience with firmware writing as well...
Thanks
Steven
These threads here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311078 and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=449263 should help you immensely. Or you can upload the parts your working on from both ROMs and I can look into it
Hi all,
Is there any possibility to add locales and languages in custom build ROM's? I know Haykuro and TheDude include additional locales, but JF isn't. How can I add them myself, is there any way?
got_Thai?
I'm interested in this as well. I believe it can be done without having to cook a new rom though. My interest lies in the Thai language and I found the following sites describing (I think?) how this can be done:
http://www.droidsans.com/content/hack-thai-display-t-mobile-g1-practical
http://g1daily.blogspot.com/2008/11/g1-install-thai-font-on-t-mobile-g1.html
I tried using google translate but the results didnt' help me much. From what I could make sense of, the how-to instructions are in the first link, and the file needed (maybe the fonts?) is in the second.
Anyways, if this helps at all let me know.
hehe i found this thread when I search on google how to add french language to my G1...
The emulator support french (and many others languages). I'm sure we can extract locales on the emulator and put them on the phone.. but no idea how to do that
I'm really interested in this too
Hi guys, is there any way to add a language on MIUI? I want to install spanish on it.
I've searched on google and I found some specific files for a specific mobile, and others files for every mobiles, but these files aren't updated for this version 1.8.26 of MIUI.
Hi
I'm looking for a ROM that's better than the stock one of the Mega and I have found a lot that I could use, but I have one question.
Are the ROM's for Windows based smartphones containing all available languages, just like iOS devices or do they only come in English?
No, you should find the correct base rom and download the builds suitable with that base rom's language.
From lidroid official website,I found some amazing roms for SM-N900 but all of them are in built chinese language. I can read their thread with google translate but can't understand for Aroma option and others features in the rom. Can someone translate them to english version? I also asked for their op.

Mate, be careful of flashing chinese roms onto your device. They have a different partition table, hence why so many people were bricking their chinese Note 3's trying to flash the Polish rom...
You have been warned...
