How to install translations on MIUI? - G2 and Desire Z General

Hi guys, is there any way to add a language on MIUI? I want to install spanish on it.
I've searched on google and I found some specific files for a specific mobile, and others files for every mobiles, but these files aren't updated for this version 1.8.26 of MIUI.

Adding locales/languages in custom build?

Hi all,
Is there any possibility to add locales and languages in custom build ROM's? I know Haykuro and TheDude include additional locales, but JF isn't. How can I add them myself, is there any way?
got_Thai?
I'm interested in this as well. I believe it can be done without having to cook a new rom though. My interest lies in the Thai language and I found the following sites describing (I think?) how this can be done:
http://www.droidsans.com/content/hack-thai-display-t-mobile-g1-practical
http://g1daily.blogspot.com/2008/11/g1-install-thai-font-on-t-mobile-g1.html
I tried using google translate but the results didnt' help me much. From what I could make sense of, the how-to instructions are in the first link, and the file needed (maybe the fonts?) is in the second.
Anyways, if this helps at all let me know.
hehe i found this thread when I search on google how to add french language to my G1...
The emulator support french (and many others languages). I'm sure we can extract locales on the emulator and put them on the phone.. but no idea how to do that
I'm really interested in this too

[Q] Add another locale

Is it possible to add another locale to the Atrix?
I would like to have a German Android experience on my phone.
Thanks
Nobody?
Would be really nice or at least to force installed apps to use the German language if possible.
What about editing the build.prop system file?
Afaik, the system locale is part of the ROM. You cannot simply edit build.prop, if the menus and labels loaded in the ROM do not include your locale. This is different for apps - those package their locales, and would convert easily.
I think you will need to wait until somebody comes out with a ROM that includes your locale of choice. And/or wait until Atrix comes out in Germany, and a recovery ROM/tool for Germany is available. (Possibly from Moto website, but I would not count on it.)
Hi all just for anyone that is interested and didn't know you can change your locale using MoreLocale2 app from market. It allows you to make your own local that is specific for you.

[Q] Touchpal Keyboard

Can someone upload somewhere the Touchpal version which supports language packs ? The latest one which exists on market does not support language packs.
There is a version preinstalled in some official Huawei ROMS.
Especially on the WIND ROM for Greece.
In that case can someone extract it ?

[Q] Is there a way to translate a ROM on windows?

Hello.
I tried the latest english MIUI ROM for Defy (2.4.20) and I really liked it. The problem is that my girlfriend does't know a word of english and the latest version has not been translated to her native language, french.
The last version that MIUI France translated was 2.3.30. I know there aren't many differences between 2.4.20 and 2.3.30. However, 2.4.20 is the very last MIUI ROM for Defy, so I think it's a shame they don't want to translate it. Besides, if there are so few differences between these versions, it should not be so hard to update the string files.
Basically, what I want to do at the moment, is to take the translated string files from 2.3.30 and put them into 2.4.20. If some strings are missing I may try to update them later on.
If I understood correctly, I need to transfer the string files of every app from the french ROM to the english one with apktool, but I can't find a way to extract the files from the miui ROMs (which is strange since they are zip files). My best guess is that I'm missing a step.
So my question is the following: is there a way do to it from a windows computer and what is it?
Quick google'ing gave me this:
http://www.miui-au.com/add-ons/apktool/
Shouldn't be so hard to find on the net.
Maybe you should try morelocale 2 from the playstore

[Q] Who Can Translate this IUNI OS ROM?

IUNI.COM just released their first open beta of IUNI OS for Galaxy s4 I9500.
Details of this rom can be found here:
http://www.iunios.com/thread-2407-1-1.html
And here is the download link:
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1qWAVwx2
I have uploaded it to Google Drive:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzRHNw91Z1pJNWZhS01OMTBNUTg/edit?usp=docslist_api
The problem, beside its beautiful modern flat design, is its language. It just came with chinese language and no option in the setting for changing the language. When I try to change the language by editing the build.prop or by using third party locale apps from play store, the icons will mess up and phone.apk/contacts.apk will stop working.
This is a good ROM, after Color OS and MIUI, this the only chinese official custom rom for I9500 come with smart stay function.
To our beloved developers... please translate it!
