Try using poweramp app, and configure the equalizer until it suits your taste.
Funny enough I just played whith my old Nintendo. That has the same joystick as in your picture.

Yes poweramp good app but not enough, one x & s3 better sound. Probably problem jack chipset.

Hello,
Does anyone know if the audio booster or an equalizer is available for the desire? I had a quick look on the app store and found one but is was quite expensive witness mixed reviews.
thank you for your time

yes please. only one paid app that's overpriced and buggy. something that does EQ as a plugin to Desire's stock music app would be great...

I have a feeling this will be added in FroYo as it's been requested by a lot of people. Best bet is to wait until may 19th and see what 2.2 is like.
That said, I don't want any Equalizer on my phone. Equalizers muddy music and they add distortion.
Hi,
How does the music player sound compared to the original Galaxy S with Voodoo? I'm thinking of upgrading but am worried about the music sound quality. Thanks for any advice.

PowerAMP with Head-Direct RE2 is amazing. PowerAMP with any decent pair of headphones is good.

This is my first phone after having an iphone for 4 years. I'm hoping the music player and sound quality are on par or better than itunes on the iphone.
Do the Poweramp codecs provide better output than stock ones?

This. Stock sound is poor but it doesn't take much to change. PowerAMP is great, I don't even use my Fiio E5 anymore.
I'm sort of a noob...I have installed FEARMEde FuSiOn HyBrId 3.5 on my HTC Evo 4G. I love this Rom and everything it has to offer but I'm have trouble switching my sound enhancer. I want to use everything that comes with the Rom but when I'm playing music and try to change to Beats it says "Sound enhancer not available for speaker output". What can I do to change this?
Beats only works with headphones pluged in

my budget is not very high..i can spend maximum 700 INR (around 15$)
so i need your advice on that
im thinking of getting es18 sound magic worth 540 bucks
well my question is, ive tried es18 and many other earphones on many devices like samsung wave, corby nokia phones etc, but the 5.1 channel on galaxy y sucks...also,i need to have many apps for and do high level of equalizing to get best possible results like i do get in other cheap phones..why is it so? is my 5.1 channel damaged?
thanks..plz leave your suggestions on ear phones too

Look at flipkart for in ear headphones
for better sound quality I would suggest to look in themes and apps section there are some nice mods like megabassbeats etc. if you do not know how to do that I would suggest look for a custom rom with dsp manager like hyperion or monochromatic 6.0.
Use dsp manager coupled with a better music player like poweramp. The stock music player is like a crap (for me atleast).

Sound magic mp21 or pl30 or 50
Currently i have been using just DSP manager and poweramp. My previous setup was Viperaudio and poweramp and that was a great but i often foudn the audio glitchy at times and Viper was taking up too many cpu cycles asswell so had to ditch that. Curious as to what setup u guys are running
noozxoide works best for me with noozy

Voodoo sound and Poweramp makes for a epic audio experience
Voodoo sound paired with n7player is my go too nowadays. Newest 2.0 version is glitchy but thankfully you can get the older version on play store as well that's flawless on this old phone

DSP
I was just curious, I am already using the DSP manager's w8994 tab to modify the wolfson DAC setting, will switch to Voodoo sound change much for the sound quality or it is the same thing as using the DSP manager's w8994 tab? Thanks!
