hmmm...could you be more specific in your question pls??? You wanna migrate from mini-cm to froyobread???
Umm.. I had froyobread v022 and it was way better than mini cm, more stable, faster, and had more themes. But now I am using new GingerDX, it's awesome, but still needs a lot of effort to be a ROM no. 1
I think he's mean install FB v023b from miniCM 1.0.2
I'm not a pro,I just give you some suggestions.
First, make a backup via CWM Recovery(This is very useful if you bricked your phone.)
Next, install v023b update zip via Recovery(I don't know is it work, because miniCM is base on CM 6.1.3,FB is base on CM 6.2.0 RC 0)
Or another safer way,Download CM6.2.0.RC.0 from doixanh's page and install it via Recovery(this will delete all of your data,so make a backup with titanium backup)
Then install FB v023b via Recovery.
Just download FroyoBread, go into xRecovery, install custom zip, install it, make a full wipe and you're done. Backup your contacts and apps before doing that.

How about your current GingerDX version? Now FroyoBread v023b Final moved to GingerDX v004 on 01/08/2011.
The features: Similar to FroyoBread
Clean stock CM7. Latest Gingerbread 2.3.5.
Fully working Camera
Minimal number of apps are installed.
Lightweight: maximum 99MB of free RAM.
My favorite modules: X8Gesture v007, X8Undervolt v001, X8MDDI v001, AX8 SMARTASS
Smooth. It IS as smooth as CM6 in 2D (menu scrolling/flinging...)
A-Theme included.
WEP adhoc supported
You can see more here
Oh wait! miniCM 1.0.2 is using CWM recovery, it's using Edify scripting.
But DX's update script is using Ahmed scripting, which is not compatible with CWM recovery.
So, you have to install xRecovery before you do other things.

no it won't work Roms just have build.prop tweak to change version number they don't have anythingto make ics/jb apps compatible . Afaik its not possible unless you are running a ics port itself

U see jellyblast is based on gingerbread and not ics so I won't run ics apps
suppose sgy had a properly working ics based rom like cm9 then ics apps work.

[Q] What's the best rom for gaming and multi tasking?

I used dzo's oxygen a lot and it was pretty good and then i also wanted to try his aurora but it's not that fast for gaming and multi tasking. Is there a rom that you'd suggest using for me? There are different miui roms and such and i can't decide what to install. I don't care about bugs such as tethering, bluetooth etc. as long as wifi is ok btw.
Go back to oxygen or ezet's cm7. You need to downgrade to .32 kernel first.

Our better yet OEX rom
Best rom in my opinion are CM 7.2 by ezet and Aurora by dzo.
You can try both one is GB and other ICS and you can see yourself each rom is best suited to your U8800 because for each phone is different.

Noob...

Can anyone tell me what kernels are for huawei pro and if the same kernels that work on huawei x5 work on pro version too.
Anyone?

no kernels are different for both phones. why do you need them? most of the customs ROMS come with a kernel different from your stock one.
it will add features like overclocking.

no..they are both different devices and have different SOC's. so when u use ROM for x5 pro ..install it only on x5 pro.. if you install it on the normal x5 it may not work and could soft brick your phone. so use only the ROM for your specific device.
for the x5 u8800 pro
gingerbread
CM7.2 by gkalenis
MIUI 2.3.7 by gkalenis
ICS
Frozenpika v1.0.6
ICE droid v1
JB
Team Taurus v3
Cyanogenmod 10 v3 by Rittik
Cyanogenmod 10.1.2 by herna
Btw you'l get the best performance gaming wise on gingerbread ROMS.
hope i helped!
