hey all devs and Nook pros,
I have just flashed AOKP build 41 fpr Nook Color. Quite satisfied with it except that it refuses to receive any bluetooth file. I have tried from multiple devices but doesnt work. It used to work on CM9 and PA. I have flashed it properly, and BT is set to discoverable. Please help, or I will move back to PA which seems more complete.
Doesn't work also for me with different devices.
I guess it's a matter of some incompatibility that can't be fixed.

Where did you get build 41? I was using krylon360's builds, but he has stopped working on them at build 40.

hello guys. I have a galaxy tab 10.1 WIFI 16GB. Currently im using milestone 4.
My problems started I think when I went to AOKP build 26. Many crashes (reboots)
WIFI doesnt work sometimes. sometimes when i didnt use the tab for a while and then i click the power button, I see the unlock screen but my touches do nothing.
This is realy frustrating cuz I cant use my tablet, Im having troubles ALL THE TIME.
I have CWM 4.0.0.4, yesterday when i tried to move to milestone 4 I also tried some other roms (not AOKP) and they all showed the same bug when i tried to install them: assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device")=="p4wifi" || getprop("ro.build.product")=="p4wifi"
WTF? i cant install roms that arent AOKP's. so guys, what can I do to save my dying tablet? please help
thanks, Amit.

You on old build, update to newer version of either aokp or cm9 and see if it changes.

Also flash 5.5.0.4 recovery before updating your OS.

What are the most popular or stable cm7.2 ROMs? Or is there actually only one cm ROM available?
I'm on 7.1 and I forgot how i flashed and all that stuff, so, I'm trying to get up to date and cm9 appears not to be daily driver ready yet?
Thanks everyone.

I've had an excellent experience with the MiRaGe Kang build:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1344873
It's fast, smooth, and stable.
Are you running it on sd card ?

As mentioned in many other similar topics, CM7 offers the maximum satisfaction in all aspects, but CM9 can be used as daily system too as it offers almost everything apart the hardware acceleration.
Better try and judge yourself. You could even make a Dual boot sdcard to get the most of the 2 systems.

There's a stable cm7.2. Rom you can download at the cyanogen mod download site. I run that off an SD card, and its great

Waste of energy and time.
I am usually an AOKP guy, so when the unofficial AOKP builds started poping up, i jumped on them. they were OK with some issues here and there. but the browser locked up on my every time i tried using it.
i am on CM10.1 (again, unofficial nightly build) with no issues.
CM has always been smoother than AOKP, i just liked AOKP's options more.
Stock
Nothing wrong with your choice and reasons.
I use Paranoid because it has tablet mode. It also updates pretty constantly but not everyday where it becomes tedious to stay current.

I'm using my own build of AOSP right now, tried stock and CM nightlies. Actually tried to build CM too, kind of fixed a build problem, but wouldn't get past the boot loader. Would love to post in the forum about it, but I don't have ten posts yet. Well, here's one, I guess.
JUST SEE THIS ROM AND YOU TELL ME WICH ROM IS.....OK

Im currently using Android Revolution HD, It seems ok but i expected more customization, I see almost no difference, Does anyone have some suggestions?
I've been looking at TEAM EOS 4 but noticed it's for 4.2, Would this work with 4.0.3?
Thanks in advance.
It isn't "for" 4.2, it is 4.2. You're going to be completely replacing 4.0.3. I've been using EOS 4, and think it's excellent. I tried the other CM 10 based JB ROMS and always went back to ICS because of issues. EOS 4 is more than stable enough as an everyday driver, and it got me interested in my TF again. I had been mainly using my Nexus 7.

Sorry for being a noob I installed my first custom rom yesterday, So i guess it's safe to install it? Would i need to "superwipe" before installing the new custom ROM?
No Superwipe. Just wipe data, cache, and Dalvik before installing. Don't forget to flash the latest GAPPS too. Many people also flash the KAT kernel. Your best bet is too read the first few pages of the EOS thread and follow the tutorial in the OP.

I would also recomend APEX Launcher with EOS4 as well. seems to run smoother then default lancher and it really opens up the customations of the tablet.
As there are more great Custom Rom other tha CM, I though I would make a poll to find out which ones Nook users prefer, just in case someone awesome decides to port a Rom to HD/HD+ and does not know which one. I personally would really like to see the OmniRom on my HD+
Current Results:
CM: 10
Omni: 6
AOKP: 5
PA: 4
MIUI: 4
Slim: 3
Carbon: 2
Ubuntu: 1
Pure: 1
LiquidSmooth: 1
Slim
Slimrom :good:
CarbonRom KitKat
In have Carbon rom on my Xperia sola and I like it very much, would be good to see it on nook also

Just got my hd+ recently and put cm10.2 on it the next day. Haven't tried another Rom yet. Is there another Rom which can give even better performance than cm10.2?

Is it different than the official cm11? If yes, can you please share the link for the rom thread.
Thanks

Yes it uses a different Kernel and has some other features.
Download: http://goo.im/devs/succulent/ovation/cyanogenmod/internal/cm_ovation_11.0_07MAR2014_HD.zip
ROM - Thread: http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2013/12/20/cm11-0-kitkat-android-4-4-2-for-nook-hd-xx-20dec2013/
(ROM - Thread hasn't been updated yet, but the download shows the latest version of that build)
I have been using Succulent's February version since its release. I am currently at 3 weeks and 2 days since I last rebooted my tablet. No issues and no lag. Very happy haven't even been tempted to move to the new March release. Works so well I don't dare mess with it.
I would like to see Miui for our tablet that would be a nice change of pace.

I know, I don' t get why his builds are rock solid and the CM11 Nightlies are very buggy, make my tablet reboot all the time and so on.
The only thing that makes me want to go back to CM10.2 stable is that drmarble released a 8x8 fuzz kernel for that build.
I find the February release to be more responsive than the fuzz kernel. I have an unusual chip set in my tablet that I have only seen one other person mention once so that may be why.

Are you saying not all HD+'s aren't (essentially) the same? What's different on yours?
