Can someone help me? This phone is really starting to piss me off. Mainly it's the keyboard, I've tried several different keyboards but they're all pure undriven ****.
Ok, maybe not necessarily THAT bad but... First off, I can't type fast on these and my normal typing speed is VERY fast. I'm not sure if it's the ROM or the keyboards. Secondly, does every frakking phone out there have to have a crappy small spacebar with other GARBAGE surrounding it?
Alot of them like periods or commas, or enter keys near the spacebar, granted, this is a really lousy small screen. But after hitting.the.period.key.for.the.50.millionth.time I'm ready to scream and throw my phone against the wall.
Not only that but the keys are small, and I'm constantly hitting the wrong keys and typing some ridiculous word that's completely out of context.
Keyboards I've gotten are:
Adaptxt Beta
Big Buttons Keyboard
Gingerbread Keyboard
SlideIT
Smart Keyboard pro
Lastly... I've yet to find a good rom. The one I'm currently on is Jokersax CM9 July 21st Build. It's ok, but it's not great. It constantly kills apps when they crash in it. Facebook - god forbid I rotate the screen, that'll screw it up for sure. And other such quirks.
I'm about ready to give up on this phone. Any help?

You do know CM9/CM10 are unstable/testing/experimental ROMs, right? Until Moto releases the appropriate drivers+kernel, don't even think of expecting any stability, despite other people's experience. Other than official Moto firmware, CM7 is the only that can deliver a decent degree of stability.
As for the keyboard... Yes, I do agree it can be annoying. I came from the G1 and its absolutely stunningly awesome hardware keyboard, no soft touchy keyboard in the world could ever dream of topping that. Plus, the screen is pretty roomy for most things but not so much for typing. Because of all this I sometimes get mad at the touchy kbd too, it can really piss me off sometimes. But it's not really that bad, I'm getting used to it. As for your issues, are you sure you're not dealing with a faulty or dying digitizer?

Yeah I know they're experimental. I used to have Dark Side, then Nottachtrix, and then CM7, and none of them really worked as good as I'd liked. Switch to CM9, but it's not that great either. I just can't find a ROM that's JUST RIGHT... Sigh.
As for the keyboard, who knows, it's only a year and half old, so it'd be a real shame if it's already dying. I think it's more just - there's no good keyboard for the atrix out there, and the screen is just too freaking small. Seriously giving the Samsung Galaxy III some thought.

I don't know about the other keyboards you've used, but smart keyboard pro is the best I've found with the customization. You can change button height, width, get rid of most buttons surrounding the space bar. Here is my layout which works great for me.

As far as keyboards go, until its most recent update, Swiftkey 3 worked well for me. Now, anytime I start a sentence with certain letters, it thinks I've pushed that letter like 10 times. SSsssssso wwwwwwwwwords look like that. I know it's not the digitizer for me at least, because no other type of keyboard or application has the problem. I just went back to the stock keyboard and the spacebar issues bug me too, but I've learned to get around it.
As far as ROMs go - make your own? This stuff is free and I've had phones with some quirks or bugs from a ROM, but then I remember most of the stuff works and the additional stuff makes it even more worth it. So, let's wait until we get some official ICS and then maybe the CM9/10 stuff will be much more stable.
Swiftkey 3 works perfectly for me.
Swiftkey keyboard is really good. Probably the best apart from the stock jelly bean keyboard. As for the rom, you'll need a gingerbread based rom of you want something stable. I would suggest neutrino which has a huge keyboard

I've looked at Neutrino... maybe I'll give it a try tonight, it can't hurt. Thanks for all the keyboard tips everyone!! I'll give both Swiftkey and Smartkeyboard pro another try. Maybe I missed a setting which will save my sanity.
Swype has been a good keyboard for me.
I have been using SwiftKey since SwiftKey X beta and found it really easy to get the hang of, the predictions are really good and it has a large spacebar, I think there is a demo so give it a try, best virtual keyboard I have used. Hopefully some of your other issues will be sorted with the ICS update.

I really like the stock Motoblur keyboard. I find it more responsive and accurate than the stock keyboards on the other ROMs. Granted, I haven't used any third-party keyboards...
Yeah, the moto kb actually works well. Otherwise I use swype in portrait and SwiftKey 3 in landscape.
Be patient at least until we get an official ics, leak...
I just got an atrix, coming from a desire z. i really really miss the hw kb, and I'm frustrated too because dz roms were much better defined as well.
BUT, the devs here are active and seem to know their stuff. I'm stoked for what they do with an official ics release. I feel like the golden age of the atrix may not be over, but still to come.
Btw, I'm on th3bills aokp milestone 6 release (ics not jb) and I'm pretty happy.

I'm mostly a Swype user, but swiftkey is well worth the money if you like traditional "tappy" keyboard. With Swype, get the beta from their website not the old version shipping with blur roms.

You must try jellybeankeyboard pro.the best keyboard i have ever used.

SwiftKey is brilliant as a non stock keyboard. It improves your tapping with very simple auto correct and punctuation as you type. I have rarely experienced performance issues on any moto, cm7, cm9 or cm10 roms.
If you use an app to monitor your cpu, you should be able to see if there is something causing issues. Apps do misbehave. I recommend System Panel and Better Battery Stats to drill down into the underlying performance.
If you factory wipe, you should not experience any issues with the ROM of your choice. If you do, then you have faulty hardware. Reseatting the ribbon connectors would be the first step. Drinking beer in large quantities is recommended when you do this.

So cm7 is your current rom of choice and the factory wipe did the trick. Well done. Neutrino is a fine rom. The only thing I didn't like about his work was lack of charge while off code. I.e. The device has to power up completely in order to charge.

If what you're saying is correct, a device with Neutrino and a dead battery is a brick.....
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but charging while off is not Rom dependant but kernel dependent (or even lower level than kernel I believe). Nothing is loaded when off....
I have neutrino and it charges just fine, even when off.

I may be out of touch on this then as when I was testing Neutrino, charging while off caused the phone to fully boot. I concluded at the time, that he had stripped out the code that handles charging. Glad to hear that has since decided to add back that portion. I do believe however that charging is an Android feature and not related to kernel How else could the pretty battery image display?

2. TouchWiz 3.0 is a huge improvement from its previous version. It doesn't seem that bad anymore but can be replaced (at least the home screens) with ADW Launcher or LauncherPro (your choice). Fully removed when custom ROMs are available.
3. Root came out before the phone was released, takes <2 minutes to do. What can we do?
- Remove bloatware (A lot of apps such as Kindle, MobiTV, etc are NOT THE APPLICATIONS but an application that tells you to download the app from them market -- some are also subscription based so they are advertisements).
- Access to apps that require root access such as (SetCPU, Root Manager, Titanium Backup, and many more)

zephiK kinda skipped over #1 so I figured I'd chime in a bit. Battery life isn't the greatest, but it does last me all day and that's really all I care about. GPS (Google Maps Navigation) seems to drain it a lot, otherwise it's really good on power. Although if you're doing music and internet, I'd give it about 3 or 4 hours. We should get better life though once CM6 is out.
@zephiK, which keyboard is MT? I've tried all the stock ones and even some downloaded ones and haven't found any to be MT. Is there a secret I'm missing out on?

Droid X's keyboard is multi touch: http://www.androidguys.com/2010/06/25/droid-xs-multitouch-keyboard-ported-21-phones/
I haven't tried it myself because I'm addicted to Swype.
I am getting much more than 3 to 4 hours. More like double that, and I've been out of work all week texting browsing and gaming. I also question if we'll se more b battery life with cyanogen's rom. The evo is getting less than stock (though cyanogen recently found whatever was eating the battery).

I just decided to test this keyboard as well and the text on the keys are extremely small. I have been trying to find a great onscreen keyboard. I am coming from the G1, so I almost never used the onscreen keyboard prior so it is new to me.
I loved the Samsung keyboard, especially the button layout/size, but in the end I could not put up with it. So I am still using Better Keyboard. It would be nice to put the Samsung and Better Keyboard together.

If you want an awesome keyboard, use the ported HTC_IME. Best keys in the house.
So I just got CM7 beta installed and the communications lady at my place of business comes to my desk and says "Oh, you have the Atrix? Do you want me to order you a lapdock for it?"
Sucks to be me, right?
I had her order the thing because we are doing a lot of cool stuff with citrix receiver and how awesome would it be if I could have an atrix running Windows via citrix reciever
But now -- I cant bring myself to remove CM7. I've thought about it many times.
I've been in recovery with my finger hovering over the button to flash back to stock GB
But I love CM7 too much. I don't want to go back to blur.
It would be like -- having an Atrix and the someone telling you you had to use this HTC Incredible 2 instead.
I think I have the solution. I am going to go back to the communications lady and request a 2nd Atrix -- for testing purposes only of course.

OMFG. Do you have job openings? I can do marketing. Will work for free tech and free pizza.
I don't see what the CM7 rave is all about. I've had too many Android phones to list and I tried CM on all of them. It serves a good purpose for phones which are slow to get updated or don't have any good custom roms, but I don't see the purpose with the Atrix as I felt the same way with the Evo and Evo 3D. The loss of certain functionality isn't worth it in my opinion. I don't have a lapdock, but being able to go somewhere and plug in the HDMI and have an easy no nonsense way of playing music, videos and pictures. Motoblur is not intrusive either like Sense can be at times.
I'm just offering my opinion and not trying to start an arguement, but I truely want to know why so many people "must" use it. Am I missing something? I used it for two days until I went to watch a movie and only had HDMI mirroring with no landscape support. I must say battery life and performance was great, but it's not bad on Alien rom either though.
For informations, I really like that
Searching the web and accompanying the operation with a friend, I see that there are some outstanding issues to resolve, as the case of battery and FM radio. But, in the future, I wish to install on my Xperia X10 Mini Pro.

CM7 just seems snappier, Im guessing because there are fewer processes running. That being said, I ran Alien prior to CM7 and I have been running Alien ever since I originally posted this (i caved because I really wanted to try out the lapdock) and I agree, That rom is very fast compared to the stock GB, thanks to kennethpen's work.

Completely agreed. I admit I use it for phones like the BACKFLIP and the CLIQ XT. Phones that are slow and buggy stock and need to be cleaned up or have major driver/coding issues. But the atrix? Stock 2.3.4 rooted debloated is an absolute dream: silky smooth, insanely fast, and 20 hour battery life. And lapdock STILL works.
I think it's kind of like Google Chrome or Firefox. Even though IE9 flies and does everything correctly on win 7 ultimate x64 and a quadcore with a good graphics card...people still use Chrome or Firefox. Just that whole rebellious don't let the man put you down type mentality.

except IE9 is so much better when it comes to css3 and gpu aided html5. and other than that, almost the exact same resources footprint. oh, and try twitter on chrome and look at your cpu load, then do it on ie9 and compare..also..ie9 doesn't change my registry, chrome does, in many ways, and they DON'T TELL YOU IT DOES.
if it's really about speed, opera destroys chrome, firefox, and IE.
and if it's about usability, I've never seen a better browser than safari.
can't really say anything about CM7. At this point I simply don't see why I want it on my atrix. the new blur launcher is way lighter than adw.

The beauty of Android is that you don't have to use the packaged launcher if you don't like it. That goes for any ROM that packages a non stock Android launcher.
The nice thing about CM7, besides being one of the more popular ROMs, is that there are a lot of developers for it and in most cases it runs better than the stock ROM. When the vendor stops supporting the phone, the CM devs keep going.
I've used CM across 3 different phones and in all cases it was superior to stock, even on my Atrix which is still in beta. Now I do miss the fingerprint reader and having audio out work through the car dock but these will eventually get added.
Now that Samsung have officially confirmed that the Note will be one of the first to get the ICS update, what improvements will it make? Will it be worth while doing it for Note works very well on Gingerbread.
The most important for me, except other nice features, is that ics will optimized full the 2 cores of Note and improved more battery life.

i know they said ICS in Q1 but have they released a tentative date?. .

I hope they take their time releasing ICS. The fewer the bugs, the better for us

I was talking to a Samsung rep on phone today and when i asked him about ICS, he said "Its already on ICS". So my next question was: "are you sure? cause i am on 2.3.6". He said "yeah what i meant was, since our nexus has it, it won't be long before the note gets it. No official dates as to when it comes" So, either a) he had no idea what he was talking about, or b) ICS is being tested on the note as we speak
what im waiting for is AOSP ICS rom or CM9 would do. The reason is FULL tablet interface, experience.
I'm wondering how much faster the camera will be. Romain Guy said that the zero shutter lag on the galaxy nexus is a combination of software+hardware optimisations, so it will be interesting to find out what kind of improvement we will get. At the moment it feels like there is 1 second between each of 1) Pressing the camera button, 2) The shutter noise and 3) actual photo taken. It's a bizarre experience.
It's gonna be LEGEND......
..wait for it....
....ARY!

The main reason they used a 5MP instead of an 8MP camera in the Galaxy Nexus was speed. Fewer pixels to process, fewer pixels to write to storage. Don't expect that kind of speed on the Note, or a GS2, etc when they get the ICS camera app.
To be honest, if you use the technique and aren't using the flash where you prepare the camera by pressing the shutter button first and then release when you want to take the picture then there is virtually no meaningful lag.
You definitely have a different note than me. The lag ducks. Do like the camera tho.

Im hoping that ICS might correct my offset screen (s-pen, finger input) and somehow get rid of the pinkish huein the middle of the pictures i take.
If Dolohin HD crashed less that would be great.
Other than that, everything else would be gravy. I love my Note and I am now done with iphones. My son still has a 4gS but I cant even stand to look at it!
However, Im not one of those people who judge others. If you love iphones, more power to ya!

Ics should fix the spen problem, ics has stylus input already built in.
Yes having the spen more accurate would be a great new advantage of having ICS on Note..
I am still impressed by the speed of my note. With ICS if it gets better... Awesome!

I got sick of my pen making random selections and acting erratic. I had a fit lol amd ripped the button off the side of the pen. Problem solved. Its still offset and i despise that bur at least when i pass the pen over the screen it doesnt select something from and inch away from the screen. I will buy a new pen with no button function. Thr only thing i ever used the button for was screen caputure but i can do that easily with hone button + sleep button.
I notice that on some web pages when i want to click a link, i have to compensate by pressing higher that the hyper link with my finger or pen.
Samsung wants to have an s-pen smartphone... GET IT RIGHT. As far as finger touch goes, there is no excuse for having to press 2mm higher than the hyperlink. Thats a lack of screen calibration which i find ignorant.
Now if i could stop all of my browsers from closing abruptly i would be less angry about the screen calibration. My iphone browser has never closed on me, not on any of them.
Still love my phone though. However, i seem to be refering to it as the galaxy n7000 because between tje pen and the unforgivable lack of screen calibration, "Note" seems a like a title that it has yet to earn.
Strange, I have no spen inaccuracy problem.
However I would like to see:
1-Better camera picture quality, the sharpness in the taken pics really sucks.
2-faster,this is a must be addressed issue, the wakeup lag from the homebutton, the lag while opening applications specially the Contacts is just unforgivable for hardware with such specs.
3-I have no such issue in the Opera browser since its not hardware accelerated, but both Dolphin and stock browsers which support that feature crush a lot and suffer from battery drainage. This of course could be because gingerbread doesn't support that feature either.
Other than these three very important issues all is well on my front.!!

Correct. Whilst it's not perfect the wake up lag is poor. Sometimes when opening sms messages or contacts/phonebook it takes upto 4 seconds which is unnacceptable!!!
It should be instantaneous...
im pretty excited about ics too exspecially about the new ui. I was looking through the features list and it didnt say any thing about it there but does any one know if the default mail app (not gmail) has push notifications

I read the page but it didn't say anything about push email which is really important to me, i use yahoo mail as a default mail and i use the ymail app, not that there is anything wrong with it but i prefer the default email app as sometimes when you want to "share" something there is the message, Bluetooth, email and stuff but sometimes it doesn't have the share through yahoo mail app, plus the yahoo mail takes forever to 'attach' pictures and send.
I just wanted to know if you guys know anything about the push email on the default email app, i know the gmail app has it but im not switching to gmail
Another thing i would like to know is this:
Huge fan of reading ebooks, and note has a sexy screen perfect for reading books, and i love the ui the books are displayed above, can any one clarify if that is only for tablets, or is an app on the android market (checked the market and nothing) or will only be available on ics when it comes out
Also will the 'US' version of android market be available outside US on ics or we still got to root and then use market enabler?
Hope ICS comes out soon with as little bugs and and plenty of improvements possible!!
I'm really torn between what we know about the G2 and the updates on the Nexus devices.
I'm coming from an Atrix, which was crapped on by Motorola, so I don't want get stuck on another device without updates or plenty of custom roms.
I don't think the Nexus 5 will be as good specs wise as the G2, but it will likely have more custom roms.
If you have the G2 now, how happy are you with it?
Do you feel there is a decent community building around the G2?
I can get an LG G2 from O2 in the UK for £10, and £22 a month, which may be cheaper than getting a Nexus 5 on contract.

I am having the same thoughts too.
Bigger screen and battery, better camera.
But I would only want paranoid rom on my phone. Pie is the best for no hw buttons.
I can only hope when n5 comes out, the source will greatly help in g2 aosp roms
I think nexus devices have more aosp Roms. But devices with vendor overlays typically have a better variety of roms. Though the aosp run smoother in nexus devices. Cm is looking very promising for the g2.

I don't even understand all these talks comparing the Nexus 5 to the LG G2.
There is one thing which is much more important than all other factors: While both don't have replaceable battery, the G2 has a 3000mah battery, while the Nexus 5 has a 2300mah battery. All other differences are negligible (Stock android or not, KitKat or 4.2.2, etc.).
Once the battery is at 0%, your phone becomes nothing but a paperweight, and this is going to happen much much (much) sooner with the Nexus 5.
I just picked up the LG G2, Its a beast.

I'm not comparing, they're just the two phones I keep thinking about. I agree that the battery is a good draw, but as long as I can get from 7am to 10pm on light/medium usage I'll be happy.
I think the big issue with the Atrix updates was Nvidia, and with the N5 and G2 having similar hardware and also coming from LG, I would hope there was some transfer, similar to N1 and the HTC Desire.
I've seen reviews moaning about LG's software overlay, but people here sound happy enough, and with CM 10.1 I'm hopefully other custom Rome will follow.
I think I'm talking myself into it!

On "light" use, maybe. On moderate use - hard to believe.
With the Nexus 5 and anything over light use, you're going to become an "electricity outlet zombie".

The problem I always have with people who base their opinions off of others is that they don't think for themselves and assume whatever people tell them is the holy truth. Go to the store and try the LG g2 yourself and decide if the LG skin is really that bad. I have tried the LG skin and I don't have major issues with it but only minor issues with the notification bar.

See that's the thing. Many reviewers just can't find anything wrong with the G2 that they will write as much as possible about their own personal whims, like this guy who takes all his strength to slam the phone as hard as he can, especially on the software part http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013...-gets-caught-living-in-the-shadows-of-giants/
I'm pretty sure the majority of people don't think LG UI is that bad. Even if the drawer is cluttered, just root and flash the verizon-esque notifications mod. It's not that hard.

LG UI is actually pretty good, it's smooth and functional. It may seem a bit too much for some people but for average users it is actually quite nice.
G2 bro. Why get a watered down "Value G2" with empty stock? The fact you have to root it to like it defeats the purpose alone. Buy the phone that works out the box. G2 is my dream phone. I'm done with boring stock. I need features and battery.

I haven't seen one in the stores yet, and I've been in a few last Friday. Hopefully I'll find one today. Everyone seems enthusiastic, and there seems to be more activity in the forums, which gives me hope.
Is the UK variant the same as an existing model in the dev forum?
My other thought was that if i'm not happy I can always sell it and get the same amount of money as I would in need to buy the N5 outright.
Thanks for all your input.

It was between the g2 - note 3 - nexus 5 and I after much hands on testing and research I am fully confident that my choice in getting the g2 was a good one. Had it for 2 weeks and am loving it. The lg ui isn't bad at all and the features the stock rom offers are pretty good. I prefer double tapping the screen to turn on/off over to pressing a physical button, not just on this phone but any phone. Best battery life of any phone I've ever used, feels like ur using an extended battery. And the phone is slick with no hiccups. Go g2. Or wait for the galaxy s5.

This G2 is by far the best phone I have owned. I'm still in awe that I can get 26 hours of battery life and still be at 10%.
The UI is fine by me in all aspects. Feels like stock but with some nice touches added. Love this phone and glad they had the Keep Your Unlimited Weekend!

I also forgot to mention I don't like how you can't customize the app drawer icon like all the rest. Blah
What features are particularly desirable in the Custom Roms?
It seems easy enough to replace the Launcher and very heavily de-bloat the System.
The CPU is already fast enough to negate minor speed tweaks, although they're still possible.
You can already do per app DPI/resolution changes.
I appreciate custom roms as much as the next guy, but it seems to me that once you've changed the launcher, hidden the soft keys (Auto Hide Soft Keys) and changed the DPI, there's little stock (LG) left that's obtrusive.
Most of the stock tweaks are minimal:
QSlide floating apps are useful, but unobtrusive if you don't need it.
Tap on/off is actually useful.
It could really do with OpenMic like the Motorola.
To me I can't see how much we're losing or gaining on the custom roms, and it seems inevitable that they'll arrive soon enough anyway. CleanRoms are already out.
I've remapped the back button keys to give me a dedicated menu and back button. Although frankly, I almost never use the hardware buttons.
It's a great piece of hardware, but strongly recommend the 32GB variant.

If I get a G2 in the UK, what development thread should I be following, as there are three custom forums and a generic development thread. I've learned from my works G S3 that there are different versions and you have to follow the correct version.
I've been out and played with one in the shop, and played with a dummy phone, and it feels nice.
EDIT: Just placed my order, and hope to have it tomorrow!!
I hope to be become a valid member of the G2 community, and will try to help test etc where needed.

I noticed the EXACT same thing.. some short words do get corrected, but longer ones that are miss-keyed won't correct. It's odd though because the suggested word shows the correct spelling of the miss-key, but the keyboard doesn't put the word into the text box unless you tap on it. It's extremely frustrating. I ended up using google keyboard because it corrects as it should (or as we are used to).. but I do miss having my email address readily available to tap on instead of having to type the whole thing out when logging into websites, apps, etc.
Yeah what's up with that

My guess is this has something to do with the new Samsung keyboard on this Note 7 custom build of TW. It looks like the keyboard may be responsible for the system lag some people are noticing as well. My guess is a firmware update will fix it. But don't worry you should get one almost monthly starting in September.
Has anyone tried using package disabler pro to disable the Samsung keyboard and see if that fixes the issue?

Samsung has repeated screwed this up since as long as I can remember. I remember the Note 2 literally had no auto correct whatsoever LOL Had to root to enable it (may have been the Note 3 can't remember). Anyway what is happening here is that the autocorrect can't keep up. You'll notice if you type very slow and make mistakes on purpose, the phone catches them every time. If you start blazing through your words, it can't keep up and misses them. With all this horsepower they can't seem to squash the lag. I am working on debloating my phone and removing a ton of things that hog resources. If I get enough of them out, maybe the keyboard will start to work properly. Who knows. This is stupid though.
I thought it was me! Switched to the Google keyboard. Fixed.

Samsung needs to recall Note 7 not just for the battery issues, but for the keyboard issues as well. Autocorrect barely works even for words and punctuation. When it tries to autocorrect it does so in an unexpected and illogical manner. There's no intelligence. Plus, words keep disappearing when I'm typing especially after hitting the spacebar, and even the spacebar is intermittent. My words end up jumbled up.
It's probably my style of texting that makes it worse, but it's fine on other phones. Ironically, I can't stand Windows Phone, and I've had much better luck with it.

The autocorrect cannot keep up with normal typing speeds. Works great if you type one word and wait 2 seconds to type the next. I posted on samsungs Twitter expressing my disappointment with my 850 dollar phone that can't autocorrect... Of course they had a tech support person from a foreign country try to walk me through some steps to fix it. This included a cache wipe and a factory reset. I told them I have seen 7 other phones behave exactly the same way and a factory reset will do nothing.
It's amazing to me that they continually screw up autocorrect each year. Do they even use these phones before releasing them? Mind blowing. I just typed all this with SwiftKey and didn't have to correct a single word!

It's scripted like in IT. Did you turn it off and back on again? In this day and age you would think they have an intelligent autocorrect engine working by now. The autocorrect engine should be continuously evolving. SwiftKey uses neural networks as a method to evolve its engine. I might go back to Swiftkey or Google keyboard since I don't use the stylus for texting anyway.
Newest update still didn't fix this.

I found the option to turn off the swipe gesture and its working much better. Having the swipe feature turned on killed the auto correct for me. It was adding 2 random words after typing one word. Unless this isn't Swiftkey I'd suggest you don't assume I've never used it.

That's the only assumption I can make when you compare two things to be exact when they are nothing alike in any single way at all. Type one sentence on both and you will see. The Samsung keyboard can't handle a single sentence without screwing it up. I could write a book with Swiftkey.
