Offline Google Search - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Had do you get offline Google Search (with the cards etc...) and why does it not bring up cards based on Calendar events it already knows about, without having to go online...

I don't know. Please forgive me.

Some apps not showing in Play Store?

Needing some help guys.
I've just tried to search for a UK app called Sky Go (I know it's not available on JB yet) and it didn't appear in the store, searched for Amazon UK app and that didn't either.
Bought the tablet from ebuyer.com, I think they're UK based, had it a matter of hours, so haven't rooted it.
Also noticed that even when I go to Google now and change the voice language to English(UK) she still speaks American, shouldn't it be an English male voice?

Me being a noob, because they've not compatible with my device...then they won't appear when I do a search.
Hopefully both will get it sorted soon, wanted to check out some cases for this awesome tablet.

Google Now help
What kernel/Rom are you using? Im unfamiliar with "M7".
I had problems with this as well, what I did to increase the card count was to enable my GPS, and allow google to sync up my search history.
M7 as in the mikey 7 Google now zip that I used. Aside from the cards I also cannot play music by song name. Only band name. Not sure what that's about. I am on a stock deodexed Rom from romswell for the p3113

Google Maps address to existing contact?

I just switched from iPhone to Android and I'm a little puzzled. How do I add an address from Google Maps to an existing contact without going Add as Contact and then Join. That doesn't seem to be clean at all as it doesn't add the address in the main contact address section. Is there another way?
Thanks!

Go to the Google People app
Select contact and tap the setting icon on the top right and choose edit
Tap "add another field" and choose address.

I'm wondering how to add an address found in the Google Maps app to a contact in the People app.

I do not believe you can do what you want. Hopefully they'll add in that feature, it would be nice. Also, a way to label stars in maps.

Its too bad! I'm really surprised because the excellent iOS Google Maps app does it very well. I dare say the iOS Google Maps app is better than the android one a few ways (in the Maps section). I suspect they'll update the Android app with some of those features.

You're actually right. The newest version of Google Maps on iOS is seen as better than the Android one. It used to be the case that the Android one is better. I think Google will fix that soon.
Don't expect similar functions across different platforms though.

My number one complaint about Maps and Android. If I put a address for my mom and set a calendar appointment to go up there Google Now will not acknowledge the address and set s time to arrival. Major oversight IMO.
You also cannot say "navigate to moms house" and have it know what your talking about

Saving Google Maps to Evernote on Nexus

Going away this weekend and I want to save directions on Google maps to Evernote on my Nexus, when I had my laptop I just copied and pasted the directions into Evernote from maps and that was fine, but I tried to copy and paste from Maps to Evernote and it's not giving me the option, tried to make maps available offline but it can't seem to include the directions, and unless I find free wifi I won't have Internet, anyone any ideas?

Playstore Issues

Guys I'm hoping someone can explain the following.....
I was looking for a simple RSS reader, I'm sat next to my mate, he's got a gnex too and suggests greader by Google inc, I can see it on his phone and in his market.
I've searched my play store and have a greader app but it's by noinnion even though the asp looks similar to the ogival Google product
Either way I cannot see the original Google version of the reader and he can? Why is this?
Were both in the same geographical area, same os version build, bought them from the same place and have the same regional settings etc but I get totally dif search results
Wtf?!

I've read Google were going to remove it; it seems they have now as it's not on mine either.
