Hey,
I hope the devs here are as helpfull as in the Xperia forums were I develop for some time now
The problem is, I want to mak3e a custom jellybean kernel for tf300, but with the blob tools I could find (those from tf200) I don't get a Header file when unpacking the asus stock blob file
Please someone help me, I'm very familiar with kernel development on phones, but not on tablets
Thanks, krabappel2548

Thank you
And i know that i could just flash a different acer rom but i really like thors rom...

I do not think you can do this without breaking support for the Asus apps.that do notelong on the Iconia.I believe its on the build.prop file.I have seen where people have several of these files saved.they switch back and foreordained to them depending what there app needs are.Extreme a bit to me. I use near stock rom and my tablet works fabulous.
You can ask Thor about this. .
Thanks Erica I have another xda member that helped with buildprop. So now I'm using Thor 11 Asus rom flawless so far. =)
What rom are you using so I can check it out if all else fails.

erica_renee is right
by doing this you will break asus mylibrary app
because it is made only for the tf
and you will need to mod the files to make it work again
Yea I know it breaks library app I don't need it due to countless others that can help me in the same way
The library app is a tiny con compared to my tons of Gameloft titles

Okay guys I been an XDA member for a very long time and I'm new the tablet scene and just got an A500 I'm still on HC boot loader. I'm using Taboonay ROM but all the themes and mods I see are directed to this ROM. I do not want to cause any harm to the device so how would I go about moding the ROM I use now

The mods for FLEXREAPER and mods that are in the FLEXREAPER rom thread should work on Lightspeed and Taboonay if that is what you wanted to know?
That is exactly what I wanted to know my friend thank you and love your hard work

hey great news
I built a working build of paranoid android
My first sucessful build for the tf300t :victory:
I"m just curious if people want this rom ?
if there is some interest I can upload it later tonight
Although I don't have my TF300T unlocked due to the warranty being still in affect, this is a ROM I'd love to use when the time comes. I'm sure others may enjoy it now.

Is this working on the original ICS or JB TF300 bootloader?
Can you get it working on TF300TG? There's a huge demand for TG ROMs, but I don't think any exist at this point.

I am uploading now, I will make a thread in the Dev section soon
Hell YEa, ill flash her
Whenever I install jellybean ROMs now I get this huge lag. Nothing works and I usually can get passed the setup wizard, the systemui crashes half the f****** time, random reboots, and when I press the home botton it doesn't works and crashes the system ui. This doesn't happen on any 4.0.4 or below. Any help would be great. Thank you

Which ROM is it though? All of them behave that way?
All of them

You can try overclocking with a kernel and use xperia tweaks to change the UI rendering to the gpu instead of the cpu

Tried already I think I might just stay on ICS until I get my nexus 4

That is really strange... i would restore it with the official firmware and try again from there
Tried with the .62

You need to do these things:
wipe cache and data
format /system
flash the rom
extract the kernel from the rom (boot.img)
boot the phone into fastboot mode
flash the kernel: fastboot flash boot boot.img
now it should work fine, if not then something much stranger is going on.

Hmm I guess it was just a fluke but PAC and camp still don't work. Its chill thought I'm using cm10 and its really smooth

PROBLUMS HAVE BEEN SOLVED BY KAYANT. THX FOR HIM
Problem comes here.
Some of my friends from our association including me want to develop roms based on AOKP or cm, and those development projects are based on STOCK kernel for it is less likely to crack and are much easier to test.
WHEN I dealt with 4.1.2, I made a mixture of it (mostly framework) with the older 4.1.1-stock kernel rom, and was finally able to boot on stock 2.3 kernel. (see my post on Defy General)
BUT HOW can I transplant/fix those 2NDBOOT ROMS to STOCK KERNEL without MAKING a 'mixture'? The method mentioned above is NOT able to make the latest 4.2 rom to boot.
ps. removing the custom kernel and change default bootmode into 2ndinit IS USELESS.
