Paranoid Android (decided to try and build it) - Transformer TF300T General

hey great news
I built a working build of paranoid android
My first sucessful build for the tf300t :victory:
I"m just curious if people want this rom ?
if there is some interest I can upload it later tonight

Although I don't have my TF300T unlocked due to the warranty being still in affect, this is a ROM I'd love to use when the time comes. I'm sure others may enjoy it now.
Sent from my Samsung Droid Charge

I would give it a try....
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Is this working on the original ICS or JB TF300 bootloader?
Can you get it working on TF300TG? There's a huge demand for TG ROMs, but I don't think any exist at this point.

Love me some paranoid
I tried the super pre alpha build in the Dev section.. but WiFi was broke and DPI too.
Yeah anyway I'd give it a go

ahhhh now i see it, its GAS_ASIA_UCAHUBLWFRTIRD_P009
so to get ICS i will need to put a rom on it then, correct?
Yup. You need to root it and flash ics rom.

im on it!!
so this means i probably wont get an ota for jelly bean either right?
What about the us image?
Is this version able to flash that?

After rooting, there will be no ota for the device.
For jelly bean, I am sure custom rom will be released for it way before its ota reaches your device if it is unrooted. No offence to stock images, but custom made roms are way much better for the xoom. Welcome on board xoomer
And flash eos nightlies rom if you really wanna taste the real ics flavor.

Looking into that as we speak! Glad to be with you guys over here to. Trying to talk the dev of my phone rom into doing one for the XOOM!!

You could just flash the official US ROM (with or without root, to flash it you only need to unlock the bootloader, nothing more than that). Then you will get the official JB-OTA with no problem!

Yes, I have a canadian xoom, I flash US from Moto web site, then I get OTA for further update, at least so far, and since even slightly overclocked GPU are really unsuitable it doesn't change much for me...

flashed a rom from motorola, do you have a link?
The link I provided is step by step procedure to unlock the bootloader and flash a pre-rooted ics rom. Eos nightlies the best.
This is not an official rom from moto. But it is way much better. It is not me saying, it is community voting results.
For me, I will stick with it as I am sure team eos will release jelly beans rom long before moto pushes ota to devices. Your call at the end of the day. If you wish further assistance, that is why we are here on xda.

Which ROM dou you use?

Hi!
Which ROM do you use? Vote in pool! In comments please write, why have you choosen this ROM but not another.
I'm first
I currently use CleanROM Inheritance. I've choosen this ROM, becouse it's fast & stable. It frequently gets updates.
I use CleanROM Inheritance. Based on stock so everything I need works as well as stock and it is smoother.
If I use stock it is 10.4.2.18. This is the best all round stock rom for my use.
AW: Which ROM dou you use?
Unfortunately stock - but I can't wait to flash a custom rom
But I'll be patient until ASUS decided whether we get nvflash or not

CleanROM!
Asus TF300T, CleanROM Inheritance
CM10.1
I just switched to CM10.1 nightlies and is just great!!
Erik
cleanrom cuz of good support and all those kernels
CROMI 4.0 great ROM can't wait for an OCed kernel
CROMI 3.4.4.
Can anyone provide a quick overview of the different ROMs? CleanRom, Energy, CM10.1, etc?
Pros/cons?
I am looking for something that's a little faster than stock, smooth, and stable. I am not after the ultimate speed or extreme optimization.

Stock rom

Hey guys i might be getting a n7 soon but can anyone suggest a good stock rom?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Here is an alpha of CM10.1 for the 5100:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2372817
keep in mind that there are no official nightlies of cm10.2 for popular devices such as the Galaxy S3 yet.
I think they're still working on making sure everything works first.

There are many, many devices out there and very few devs willing to donate their time. So feel lucky if your device is chosen.
