This bootanimation is a official of cm10!
Bootanimation works on any ROMs (GB/ICS)
Instructions:
0) Hit the "Thanks" button
1) Download "bootanimation.zip"
2) Copy to SD card
3) Use root explorer or Es File manager to move "bootanimation.zip"
4) Move "bootanimation.zip" to /system/media
5) Replace existing "bootanimation.zip"
6) Reboot! :victory:

You must have root on your phone.

Yes. You must have the same or larger resolution than 800x480 . Sorry I forgot about it.

I'm using Dzo latest aurora ics 4.1a and when i navigate to system/media/ i can't find the bootanimation.zip to overwrite... Do you guys know why?

this is not a boot animation, DZO just replace the "android" logo that appears when you dont have any boot animation.

It's because that boot animation, from what I managed to gather, is in framework-res.apk. What it does is, when you boot the phone will look into the /system/media, if there is no bootanimation.zip it will use the default from framework-res.apk

you can try in /data/local but my bootanimation.zip file is in /system/customize/resource
i found it with Astro

yes this work on all roms of p350 and p500 of hdpi and except cosmic experia works on all
venkat you used uot kitchen for this all TRANSITIONS . Anyone can do with uot kitchen. Just go the uot kitchen open window option you will find this all and it can be flash via recovery i just flashed ics TRANSITIONS via recovery on my cm7.2 nightly on p500

collected from uot kitchen but actually few are not compact able with this but i edify this to work with ours

Method 1:
Download the bootanimation and copy to your sd card(Preferably root of sd card, If placed in any folder, make sure that the path does not have any spaces)
Reboot into recovery
Select 'Install zip from sdcard' and then 'Choose zip from sdcard'
Find your zip file and flash it
Reboot and enjoy
Method 2:
Download Bootanimation.zip and copy to your sdcard.
Copy it (and replace it, if already exists) in /system/media
Change permissions to rw-r--r-
Reboot and enjoy

Finally Fixed
Still have white lines on upper and left part border blinking. No white lines on right and bottom part.

im not too comfortable using twrp. would it be too much to ask for the bootanimation.zip file that i can manually copy/paste into my systems folder?
i did go to the original thread that u posted but while dloading the file i get an error saying "bad zip file".

You just need to download the flashable zip in the OP and extract the bootanimation.zip and then replace it...

it was ported from an HTC one.. it's not reading these values from the phone, they're just images used in the boot animation.
if you pay close attention, you'll see 'htc one' in the preview in the OP

yeah i did read that was wondering how would htc branding look on a Nexus phone thats all...and the same bootanimation is available in bootanimation forum without the htc branding

Yes, you will need root to push it into /system

No..don't do that...
Leave folder with odex like it is.
Just replace apk file and restart...

I know that I can't install like normal apk.,but I can't download apk completely( showing 5,5 Mb). I was try more than 20 times with different devices , and because of this, I have that message if I try manual installation.
