You just need to download the flashable zip in the OP and extract the bootanimation.zip and then replace it...

Thanks. Did that but didnt work.
I just get a small android written text that shines as my boot animation.

it was ported from an HTC one.. it's not reading these values from the phone, they're just images used in the boot animation.
if you pay close attention, you'll see 'htc one' in the preview in the OP

After a lot of time, hard work and testing I have at last got it.
A plain white on black notification bar for the Official Froyo Sense ROM by AdamG.
I also changed the notification icons so they blend in with the notification bar.
This theme was originally made by manup456 so all credit goes to him. All I have done is taken the images from the framework and replaced them in the Sense Froyo one.
How To Install -
Flash via Recovery, Minimalistic - Signed
OR
Copy framework file over, all you do is open the ROM on your computer (DO NOT EXTRACT IT) and go to
system/framework
then drag and drop the new framework into the folder.
OR
You can use ADB commands to push the file onto your android phone, but I personally don't know how to do this.

As you can see in the title this ONLY for the Official Froyo Sense ROM by AdamG, it will NOT work on any other ROMS.
Please pay attention to the title before complaining about it not working.
Indeed, really nice

Follow the instructions in *THIS* thread (post3) on how to create and flash your own SplashScreen. I wrote a small batch file to make the process alot easier and you can create 1st or 2nd SplashScreens with it.

Cyanogen BootAnimation 1080p

Since the new CM branding called just Cyanogen, I was tired of waiting for them to release their roms with the new logo so I did a new bootanimation. I tried to look serious without losing the techno-holo design of android.
Here is the download link
http://goo.gl/Y9Xxhq
The video preview
I'm planning to release another one with more simpler design aiming for something more corporative.
I'm open to ideas or suggestion to improve it, I made it quite fast so I may skip some attention to details.
I loved the way the designed patterns in the background fade away.
Reminds me of Halo during the loading screens. *o*

Yeah, sorry for the size, the picture resolution is the cause for it.
I made another version (with the text removed) using the same format found in some "google edition" phones.

If there's a bootanimation.zip in /data/local it'll read from that rather than /system/media
