Since development on this ROM is new, do not expect it to be as stable as CM9 yet. So far the basic functionality such as camera / phone / LTE / SMS / wi-fi / GPS is working. In the meantime please follow this thread for updates and user feedback.

WARNING! Do not flash this to a different device model from the one it's meant for. It will not work with the other Galaxy S2 iterations, so don't try it with the Bell Galaxy S2 I9100M (non-HD). DO NOT flash it on the Asian variant of the GS2 HD (SHV-E120) either, as it uses slightly different internal hardware - the ROM will be unstable and the phone component will not work. If you are sure you have the CANADIAN Bell Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SGH-I757M), then click on the button below:
(For questions about CM10 for the SHV-120L, contact skysbird on Twitter or GitHub. I will not discuss that device in my thread.)

Please follow the installation instructions in this thread, as they are similar. However, remember to use the 'cyanogenmod10' folder and the Jelly Bean Google Apps instead. In addition, you MUST do a data wipe when going from CM9 (or any other non-CM10 ROM) to CM10 and vice-versa.
FAQs, source code links, and more should be found at that link as well. I'll update this thread when I have more time.

I am Just updating to the C version. but everything has been really good so far i have been using it all day, only thing i noticed is "Media" is taking up A LOT of battery. has anyone else noticed this.. and i havent even listened to music..
Other then that. It was pretty flawless. ive made calls and text and used data. all fine. I had one force restart but thats it.... Im thinking this could be a daily driver.... well im going to use it as such and see but so far its awesome. thanks soooo much... you are the man. and i sent a little donation your way. cheers. mate

So far so good was really hoping to see the touch to focus working on the camera but I guess no dice . Otherwise its prettyfuntional and pretty quick. Gallery seems to shut down every so often by itself but I'm getting wifi ,4g, GPS, and text/phone so as dsi said all major main functions are working properly. Thanks again!!

Am I just blind or is the option to use the volume rocker to move the cursor using the default Android keyboard missing??
I am looking under Settings --> Language & Input --> Android keyboard (AOSP)

I would be interested to hear peoples score using the new Google Octane benchmark with this ROM. I was getting 1000+ scores with CM9 using Chrome but that has dropped below 900 with Chrome and CM10.

Probably not a daily driver just quite yet based on various crashes and reboots using various apps from chrome, Goggle news to settings.

I noticed that when upgrading from CM9, the Camera app doesn't show up after installing Gapps for CM10. You need to unpack the ZIP file and manually reinstall the Gallery2.apk app. Then the Camera app shows up.

Important that you dont try and port this from this device to another!

If the gallery keeps force closing whenever you try to set camcorder mode, do this:
set it to front camera,
then front camcorder,
and then swap to rear camcorder.
No, that was not a haiku

I just tried 3 other scanners Google shopper, savvy scanner, red laser. They all force close or say camera encountered a problem, you may need to restart your system.
I went in to app manager to force close camera and it isn't there, i thought it was strange.

I imagine you'd have to force close gallery as the camera/gallery are integrated in JB.

I should have mentioned that i did that and still nothing

Might be a kernel issue. Lot of 3rd party camera apps don't work with the newest kernel on my i717. They were working fine before it.

So I've been running this for a day now, and its pretty good.
Aside from the barcode apps, every thing is working smooth with no crashes.
I've got to really thank OP for taking the time to do this...definitely beta or even RC.
Cheers!

I just ran into a problem with gallery. I no longer can see any photos and it won't sync my photos from my Google account. But i agree this is already very very good, i had one force restart but that's it.
Anyone else have any issues with gallery or know how to fix it?

Pretty nice. The swipe transitions on the launcher home screen are laggy. The power widget backlight button had a resize issue (not that its needed with the notification bar widget). Animated home screens do not work. Camera still FCs on double tap. GPS, Phone, SMS work.
navigation does work on this rom for me it starts and minutes later loses gps singal and never picks back up
Fyi, I'm having the same GPS issue that I had with omgb... can't find signal, run gps status & toolkit, works for 10 min then loses signal again. Love everything else about this rom but moving from Iowa to Cinci and need gps

Tried out the latest nightly last night. The honeycomb lockscreen is pretty sweet, but I'm having the same problems with GPS wherein it will acquire a lock, then lose it completely 10 minutes later. As I depend on GPS, this makes it a no-go for now.
I'm looking forward to seeing any progress you continue to make on this, nice job!

i love it, it looks soooo goood, but I really miss the widgets, any idea when the beta that includ widgets will be released?
Thanks
I hope to have the widgets available by Monday of next week.
Yes! Been using your app for a loooong time, and i use it every day (Yes, i'm rocking Premium version), so i'll have to take a look at this. Thanks

Ok, installed and tried it. It's really good, but i did find one bug; nothing shows up in "My Schedule".
Edit: One more thing. I'm using the Galaxy Note with a 1280x800 resolution screen, and the background (dark theme) is in low quality which includes banding. Is it 16 or 24-bit?
Do you have any screen shots of the banding issue? Regarding the schedule, are you sure you have the screen configured in a way that should give results (shows with schedule enabled, proper start and end times, etc.)?
Yup, here it is (god i hope you can see it lol)

Just bumping the thread up a bit.
Bought the current version of the main app some time ago and have been using it quite a bit, it's a great tool. The beta is even more awesome. I can wait for the widget, I'd like to see the social stuff soon too. Gotta spam my facebook wall y'know
Wowww!!! just awesome!! slick fast and really beautiful on ICS, Galaxy S I9000..
The only issue is that it doesnt have http://www.myepisodes.com import support..
I have over 55(!!) shows.. and inserting each of them into your db would take forever.. any way you could support importing the stats from that site?
I would certainly buy that app when it's get released with that feature..
Edit:
Bug report:
App crashes when marking whole seasons as watched too fast..

v2.6 Addon
The addon says 2.4, but hasn't changed since then, so it will still work.
IF you dont like how the display is all Zoomed-out, this is how you fix it.
1. Open your favorite root browser.
2. Go to /system
3. open Build.prop in text EDITOR
4. Look for the line "ro.sf.lcd_density=182"
5. Delete 182 and replace it with 240
6. Save the edited build.prop
7. Reboot
If you want to return to the same veiw that is zoomed-out. replace ro.sf.lcd_density=240 with ro.sf.lcd_density=182

Probably not, S-Pen is not specificaly android but Samsung software.
You can track progress here.
The builds have started, they're at letter E at the moment (it's going alphabetical).
The build should be up in about 3-4 hours.
Also don't get your hopes up. Everything is working means that the camera is still lagging when switching back to front, probably crashes on 1st photo with flash.
As usual in CM there's no FM radio, no HDMI out and battery life will probably suck compared to a stock rom. Yay for CM10 anyway. I'm not going to bother after what I experienced on my I9100 and I9300.
I'll post a link to the build when it's done.

There are however alternatives for the S-Pen in Google Play for drawing, taking notes etc.

Well the S-Pen is also really handy to use with gestures like in Paranandroid, So if they can add something like that, that would be really nice.

I also like the hovering dot and the feature that notify me if I forget the pen.

Don't count on it. Consider the S-Pen functionality gone as well as multi window support.
You will get a plain CM / AOSP experience. No extra apps, just basic stuff.
Also the camera extra functions will be gone, only basic photo/video recording will work.
I see some builds have failed already from today, I wonder if the N7100 will fail as well. We have to wait and see.
i rather cm add aptx support and multi window than spen features
Anyone know what version of JB is being compiled?

It's the same version for all devices. As you can see in the bbqlog, there isn't a notice of a new android version. It will be another 4.1.2 nightly .zip which you have to flash and then flash gapps 4.1.2 afterwards (or the buggy 4.2 apps if you prefer those).
We will have to wait a bit until the CM team get up to speed with the new 4.2 sources which have been released only yesterday (hence yesterday's "stable" builds and code freeze for version 10.0.0). Since 4.2 is still called Jelly Bean, and is still 4.x then CM will change version number to 10.1.x, I think since the team consists of experts of the matter we can expect 4.2 builds to come fairly quick. The most important thing is to setup the device tree with blobs and proprietary stuff which nebkat already did! Big props to you!
I9300 is building now, if it doesn't fail I think we're good to go, since N7100 shares lots of dependancies and files with it.

OK guys, seems like the build succeedded.
Should be available here within 30 minutes.
Make sure you grab the one for n7100 not n7000
I'm curious to see how it runs, I can't test it now as I'm using my phone all the time but maybe later.
Please comment and post your impressions and findings on what works and not.

What version of gapps is needed ?
I've noticed in the past few days most of my apps I downloaded, including Google apps like google + are saying that they are not compatible on my device.
I cleared data from the play store app and rebooted but still can install most of my apps
Any advice ?
When will the battery life improve?

Paranoid Android has finally been ported to the HTC Thunderbolt! but wait, its just not tablet mode! it comes with different stuff just like a hybrid phone mode. It also comes with themes many MODs different settings and customizations.
PARANOIDANDROID has changed everything! in this piece of software you get to change the DPI of your phone without wasting time, it allows you to do it for every app like youtube , browsers and other apps. If you have used a Galaxy Nexus a Nexus 4 you could enable the pretty software keys without troubling yourself , modifying build.prop flashing and flashing then finally screwing your phone up now its in a bundle of awesomeness you can use "Tablet Styled" Settings like in the Nexus 7 all your settings in one window! Finally comes Battery and performance you can feel the power in Paranoid Android!

Does data work in yours and does phone fc for you on startup? I was able to get data working in the port I made over a year ago but couldn't get the mic or speaker to work in call.

Phone fc's on startup, this version is w/out phone. The phone from the rezound version of pa could work since it's verizon. Did you port from the DHD as well?
Yea. Exact same ROM. The problem is because of porting a gsm phone. I tried the droid incredible 2 since it is identical spec wise to the bolt with the lack of lte which causes its own problems. The rezound version is doubtful at best to work at all because it is dual core and the resolution is higher so resizing would be a pain in the ass. I can fix the phone fc but I am at a loss to fix the audio issues I have in call.

the rezound port booted for about a minute then went into boot loop. Gonna try using the phone & telephony provider from rezound in the DHD port. How did you fix the phone fc?
I had to decompile and modify the phone apk, framework.jar, services.jar and telephony-providers.jar. Its a long process. I probably spent 40-50 hours editing and looking through code trying to fix the audio issues.

The rezound may end up with a working phone but data probably won't work and if it does it will be spotty at best. The ril would need to be ported as well as all the libs.

so, you think I should try using the libs and phone from the rezound in the dhd port?
tried using phone and ril libs as well as apns conf but no dice
No I'm saying use the base ROM phone and libs in your rezound port. I doubt it will do anything but bootloop though. The CPU isn't the same in the rezound so getting it to boot will be difficult.

This looks awesome! I loved PA on my DINC2... i really hope you guys can get the phone working! Thanks for the hope
First CM9, now this? Great work, devs! I'm going to try out CM9 tonight, and when the phone works with PA I'll give that a shot too. Thanks for making my phone less intolerable until I can replace it!
