WP-Notes App ~WIP~ (UPDATE-1)

WP-Notes is an app which transfers the Windows Phone 7 UI to Android.
From the name of it, it is a Notes app which lets you take notes as fast as possible and review them whenever you need to go back to them!
For now, the WP-Notes will not be released until it's in a good condition to be used.
About the price of this app, you will be the ones who will choose!
You need to tell me what should be the price. Should it be for free ? $0.99 ? Leave any recommendations about the price.
When I get home, I will upload some pictures for you to be able to see how the app actually looks like!
Wish-List:
- Notifications (If you set a specific time to the note, it will notify you whenever that time is reached).
- More customization.
If there is anything you would like to know, just leave a post and I will answer as soon as I see it.
If there are any more suggestions or any more things to add to the Wish-List, please leave a post and I will try my best to add it to the app!

Ermm is a remember feature already there ? Mean the app gives a notification out If u did a note for a special time ?

I think a "remember" function is definitely needed..
Would be best to see the final app for free But when you put a lot of work in the app why not take 0.70$ for it?

Yesterday I was looking for this and found an app (Unotes) that filled my needs, but now I find this and I am really excited (I'm making my own WP7 style ROM for LG Optimus Black).

About the price, I encourage you to do 2 versions. Both without ads:
1. Free --> Just the basic: notes and the list of all notes (obvious). Anything else.
2. 0-1$ (you need to eat )--> All the extras like Notifications, everything you want.
For example, I really like this app look, but I'm 99% sure I won't pay for a notes app because it's something I use just sometimes. I could ask you to have everything for free, but since you asked really nicely, I believe you won that "respect". That's why I'm asking just for the basic thing: notes and nothing else for free, like a lite version. Without ads, please (wouldn't use it).

Recomendation/wish: Make the title of the new note empty (optional), and the cursor to write pointing to the note body. Also, make that in the notes list, the note body is shown, so if no there is no title, you can see all the notes. I hope I have been clear explaining myself.
Also, an "Add note" button at the bottom of the notes list would be great!

Just a suggestion; you should make the top bar all lowercase, where it says Notes and Write. It'll look sexier.

Id like to be a beta tester also if u decide to pick me please send me a PM i have lots of threads to manage

Go Launcher HD for Tablets v1.0 Beta

I just stumbled across this today and so far I really like it. I was using the Trebuchet launcher on Thor's ICS v96, and although it does have a lot of customization it is slightly laggy. So far Go Launcher HD is running super smooth with no noticeable lag.

It appears there is very minimal options available (It is a BETA, I will forgive them)
Themeing is not a option, yet.. Maybe keep an eye out.
I like the new dock, but they need to use more of the screen for available widgets, utilizing ALL of the screen.
I can compare say, Stock Launcher, to GoLauncher Ex, where the margins on the side are smaller, giving more space, maybe I am insane. At this stage, I have set up something, but I am not a huge fan and will go back to GoLauncherEX until they sort out the theme issue and give us more options. Hopefully they can implement all those of the normal EX and maybe some more? EG, making wallpapers work better (most of us are faced to use Multipicture Live to correct incorrect showing wallpaper)
in short, it is good, but not great.. yet. Hopefully with updates, this is fixed

It's only a beta but so far so good. I'm sure themes will be an option down the line, and I agree that the top and bottom margins are way too big.

Really like it can't wait to see what happens next really sleek and fast launcher compared to the phone ver. On tablets...

I gave this a shot - though I have little patience for beta testing. I hate the dock and since there are basically no settings to speak of, I'll wait till they have a final release.

Nice find. Thanks for posting. It has Learning Hub so that's finally being released (at least in Germany). There's still no Reader's Hub or Social Hub. It also said "pen removed" in the quick settings so its got at least one of the Note 2's features ported over. If Google Now only works in portrait mode that will suck. It was fast and fluid but it had no apps or widgets running; the real test to see if there's a difference is when we all load it up with the crap we use everyday.

Yes I am pretty much expecting us to get JB and the full Note 2.0 treatment. Reason being that Samsung will want 10.1 owners to also own the Note 2 as our phone so the devices need to be highly compatible.
Also they probably don't want to deal with 10.1 owners *****ing them out 24/7.

Google Now works fine in landscape... at least it did on my Moto Xoom before upgrading to Note. That said, I didnt find Google Now anything to get all hot and bothered about.

This is what made me question it...
I also think it'll add more value on a 3G Note than a Wi-Fi because it'll be online all the time and Google Now can collect more behavioral info. I haven't used it yet so still don't fully understand what it does, how it does it, or why I need it.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

GN is nice, even on the gimped version for my rezound. Keeps me up to date on my teams and I bet that if I had regular hours for work the traffic would be great.

App looks great, but I have 2 things if you don't mind
1. the app forced close when it was syncing, it started out ok but then got stuck and forced close
System: Android ICS 4.0.4 / Stock Kernel.
Device: Sony Xperia P
Root Status: I have Root Access.

2. It's better if you change thread title to include something like: [APP] because I first thought it's a news thread and a thread for an app even though it's in development section

for now, there are no fc's here.
but i think the "loop through" the news is a bit laggy.
sometimes there are no loops,
in other ways it works every half a minute and shows me the next news.
btw...: great looking app.

When you click on Edit on the first post, the button: Advanced Options (or Advanced Settings) will appear, click it, you will be redirected to another page that's where you can edit thread / title and manage attachments

Check out the stock samsung keyboard, press "sym" and then press "1/2" button to get various signs like hearts, circles and stars.

i KNOW, it is awesome... when i first saw that i was like...oooh, oooh...lol Also, it seems you can type A LOT and it becomes a "scolling marquee"... too cool... : )

Amazed at what people can miss. Not to be a peni$ here, but this feature has been there since HoneyComb on my other tablets.
This is my first Android phone, so I cannot say if phones had it prior to ICS. I don't even know if other ICS phones support that, but this being a tablet and I can attest that this feature is not new and has been there since HC on old tablets.
What would be a neat feature is:
1. Add an icon to swipe. Just like on iPhones. I learnt how to modify those swipers that I made my own: with my girlfriend's pic, my pic, my motorcycle, my car, my ***, etc, etc.
2. Gesture unlock just like in Win8. Doodle on a picture to unlock the device. This looks like fun.

Didn't really post my "find" to brag on it or to try and determine, "how long its been around"....
Just wanted to share it with those who might not know about it, it makes the Note EVEN more enjoyable when u turn it on and see ur own lil personalization smilin' back @ ya!

I've had this for ages on my Jellybeaned DHD. Best bit is it is backed up and restored with Google backup.
I have my email address and a plea to return if found. As futile as it might be.
