CHECK THAT OUT GUYS! PISSED ME OFF HARDCORE!
This fake xperia x10 almost OWNNSSS the real deal!!! all its lacking is 720p recording and 4inch screen instead of that 3.7inch
Android 2.2 support :/, now I'm pissed off...
512mb ram dual boot too with win mobile

Don't worry guys as soon as android 4 is relaest SE will update us to 2.2 be patient

WTFS THIS IS.... lol im gonnaa buy one xD
it got more ram, more OSs and got 2(400mh) procesadors wtf WTF....
and its runing FROYOOOO and i bet its 2.3 capable u.u
I knew it all along. Instead of updating our device, SE has created another secret covert company to release new products and make a few extra bucks.
Meh...the only thing good about this device is the updated (to us...outdated to others) software. The ram on the x10 is good enough, and the processor on this thing could be complete sh*t.
Hahaha notice in one of the pics of the ix10 you can see sony ericsson written backwards
Lol they even copied the earphones...
and it comes with HTC Sense(TM)
LOL, I'm impressed with 512mb ram and even multi-touch support! But it lacks any 3G connectivity, max it can go is only EDGE.

If this phone was to be better than the real x10,then whole world would know that.
China and small chinese factories has yet to make phone that compare to big companies like sony ericsson, nokia,lg etc.

I think this phone will break in less than 6 months of usage..all copy cat phones are rubbish.
That's China product for you. Use it properly and it won't break. They sure know how to pump their specs up.
I'd love to see some comparisons of these copycats against their real counterparts. It would be nice to see which has the best price/quality ratio and which one gets closest to the real deal.
WTF ..... MT - 2.2 froyo -2 processors - 512 RAM!!!!! looks like this company knows what x10 users want lol
0.o
Don't forget the FM Receiver, complete Flash capability in browser and torchlight ability with adjustable brightness (I presume it's not the lame function whereby it just makes the screen go bright white?)
Lol.
Aaaaaaaaaaand... A "Sony" phone with HTC Sense...
It's made from stock overruns when SE's sale projections in the USA didn't pan out. GRD

Hey it's Steve Jobs presenting a new iphone.. and look, he's demonstrating how the phone doesn't lose signal no matter how you hold it!
Specs are nice but i don't know.. will it have good support?
It freezes alot in the video xD
Chinesse phone....not good materials.....worst support
it Depends on the materials basically ..
And chinese materials .. Suck the most ..
specs are Very good actually
But i'd go for a Proper benchmark ..
Like HTC ..
HTC is actually Very damn good ..
Just because it's a chinese product it doesn't mean it's bad.
They can have good and bad stuff like any other country. Take apple for ex, lots of apple products are made in china with chinese materials. They were just designed in the usa, which of course also chose the materials they want in the product.
Most crappy chinese products are made by chinese companies with no experience, they just imitate something that already exists and use cheap materials so the prices can be low.
But you also have good chinese companies who prefer to waste a bit more money on a r&d department and quality control and produce way better things..
We just have to see what kind of company they are

Engadget has a hands-on preview: http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/16/xiaomi-phone-hands-on/
The internals are made by foxconn (same company that makes the internals for apple devices), it's not necessarily the best company at the business but it's also not a cheap factory, the screen is manufactured by sharp and seems to be a tad better in sun light than the average lcd screen. They also said that the phone feels surprisingly solid. Software still needs some tweaking..
Let us wait

samsung galaxy s2
Most of you are going to hate me for this, but someone had to say it.
After using the X5 for a few months, I've decided it's time to move on. Paid $300 for the phone at a retail shop and managed to sell it for $200...so I've lost some money, but I've learned something: NEVER HUAWEI AGAIN
The overall performance of the phone was good, perhaps better than most phones, but it was one of the most unreliable phones I've every had (comparable to the old Nokia 6600, promising a lot but delivering nothing properly).
From the day 1, when I first powered it up and until the day I've sold it, i've been expecting it to reboot or to do something weird. I never wanted a custom Rom or anything like that, but I had to try EVERYTHING with the hope that it will fixes the bugs.
This phone is for people with huge amount of free time and the willing to risk bricking the phone for any little thing...
Some of the bugs (crappy Bluetooth, mic issues, low volume in calls, spontaneous reboots, crappy wi-fi, not going to sleep properly etc) were partially solved by amazing developers like Dzo, Genokolar and Stockwell. They are the only reason why I didn't sell the phone long time ago, so thank you guys. A bit of advice for you tho, stop wasting time on the X5, it's not worth it.
I got an HTC Inc S now and I can telly you this: for approx $150 more, you get EVERYTHING working and 2.3 stock rom. And when I say everything, I mean BT working from your pocket, no reboots, battery lasts for at least 2 days and so on, without any root/Custom Rom or anything like that.
This thread is for the guys that started thinking that Android sucks and these bugs are affecting all Android phones. This is not true, so if you're unhappy with the X5, sell it!
X5 is perfect for it's value. They can't all affort to buy an expensive htc device, and htc devices with same price don't exist AFAIK, and the little more expensive are much worse from X5, plus htc' s support is zero(at least for these models). They never get an update, no matter if have problems. I had an htc model before X5 and I know the big difference in hardware and performance. I finnaly can really use my phone.
Yes, you can't have the perfect phone in a low price, but X5 is the king of low price models.
You're joking with the updates from HTC... ) I just had an OTA update yesterday. ) So, you probably didn't have an HTC phone or you don't know what you're talking about.
How many times did tap "check for updates" on Huawei X5 and actually had an update available?
You're confused my friend. Huawei is the one that provides 0 support, look at their website...pathetic really.
But anyway, this is my opinion...No offense intended.
Enjoy your crippled king of the low price models.
Unfortunately I'm not. I had htc devices from 2005-6, first wm and the last was an android. Neither of them never get a firmware update never. And I spoke for low end devices mainly not for all. I know about huawei' s support, but from the HTC a expect more, because I pay more and if I have 0 support(again thats not happen on all devices, but I don't care because the more money if there aren't for better hardware and performance and not for better support for what are they?).
At least with huawei I have a better and in fact usable smartphone.
I finally can make calls without crashes, navigation without stucks and crashes, I can finally hear the ringtone when I have a call, I can use device outside in sun, and I paid less from my last htc device.
Here in Greece Huawei X5 selling for 180€ at stores, so its the best choice for hardware with this price.
I know that Huawei's service is realy bad, but I ll take my chances.
A very cheap device with good (not perfect) developers touch!
If X5 gets CM official then will be support for a long time and gives to other developers the option to build side AOSP projects.
In finland operator sells it for 72 euro.. buyed it from sonera and thats is very good phone when you think its only 72e
Sent from my Huawei u8800 using Tapatalk
i have mine working without any type of problems for a week...
wifi theter bluetooh everything...
and one thing that i love in it is wifi and data connection always on and battery stands for 2 days... with a LOT of phonecalls even using gsm or wifi ( using progam called viber for voip ) that btw provides a unique experience in sound.
soo like you its an opinion, made by someone that cant afford an expensive htc device
and was using a cheap zte android model.
the diference is night to day. even my brother haves a iphone4 and really likes my x5 even one friend of me had a htc hd2 and trade it for this and LOVES IT.
so is important to say im using x5 with oxygen rom and latest francokernel and it could be better but wont be the same at least to my wallet lool.

I think you're comparing 5-6 years old HTC phones with 2011 Huawei...That's not the point here.
The point here is this phone is a pretend "high spec" phone, with a powerful CPU, but with **** components (BT, wifi, mic, speaker everything), that is selling at 180 Eur ($250). If you have $100 more, just get ANYTHING else.
For example on Ebay, brand new Nexus S with $320 or even a bloody Acer Liquid Metal ($180) is FAAAR better than the X5. I had the chance of testing the Huawei X1 as well, which apparently has a touch-screen, but it's an absolute POS.
I'm just trying to let everyone know that high spec is not everything (not on Huawei phones). Sure, if you don't need BT, or you don't care about spontaneous reboots or low volume in calls, then X5 is perfect for you. Otherwise, avoid Huawei!
i dont understand i have the phone made other to friends buy the phone, mine was one week in stock rom and no problems, now in oxygen still without problems, the other 2 phones are in miui and no problems. and our phones cost 160€ and if i have a problem just spend 10 minutes to physical store and send it to warranty. ive seen comparing prices in ebay its not to fair to do it i think...
i think the problem it self in here is like iphone users that can see anything else, same happens to my cousin that bought one htc desire hd in second hand for 270€ and new here in portugal i think it costs like 450€.
can you tell me its a better buy?
i dont think so... but thats my opinion im open to "new" brands and more competitive prices...

Hi,
Owning an X5 since 3 weeks, I'm running on official Android 2.2 and had no problems so far..
I've used Samsung and Nokia and their problems were not less than this ones', I mean Nokia had restarting, voice problems ect. but this phone works fine for now..
This phone has the same specs of HTC Desire Z (except qwerty keyboard) but is around half the price in Turkiye, and has a better GPU (Adreno G205 instead of G200, which is quite a big difference believe me) than Samsung Ace and is still 20 % cheaper..
Regards..

Yes, I'm comparing 5-6 years old HTC phones with 2011 Huawei. Htc TATTO is 6 years old? Of course not, but seems that it is(android 1.6 still, not powerfull enough to run any newer version, as HTC says, so hardware 5-6 years old too). This device have 240€ still in my country(X5 200€).
And I haven't any of problems that you mention. No reboots, no problems on call volume, no bluetooth problems until now.
i think theres no point in argument/comparison here..
if u like ur phone, keep using it;
if u dont, change to another model.. just do not try to discourage others from using it or more importantly developing for it..
i think the incredible s forum is a better place for u now..

why? based on?
I already talked about it in here, but i'll say again.
Please don't be misunderstand my words, i don't want to make anyone angry.
English is not my first language and i'm not good at english grammer too. =)
I'm really regretful for buying it.
I bought this phone just about 540TL = 300$. And i love it. But when it comes to "talking with the phone" it sucks.Other side never get a clear voice from me, and its must be clear than that. Even my W205 Sony Ericcson (its sagem actually) have a better mic quality. And i hate that. Other problem is wifi and i don't think its need proper explanation.
Its already talked over and over..
Camera is sucks too. Its not a 5MP camera. Its just like a 2M for me. My first W810 take better pictures than that.
There is none pc suite. Even the nokiapc suite is better than HiSuite!
There is none local site for my country, and not local support site.
They don't care english user. If you see the weibo updates from vice president of huawei and see his update notices in there, you'll see that, they don't care a make any english updates for that notices. @huaweidevices twitter is just make some adversites. Thats all.
I have this phone like nearly 5 months, even the 2.3.7 is out and we don't get ny official updates. And they remove items from they site too. I trusted huawei for updates and believe them to make 2.3 update. Now i don't trust'em, and even if its exist it will be 2.3.0 (i'm not sure.) And we will wait for other updates like a year again? I will not.
If stockwell, dzo or genokolar don't work on our phone.. I would sell my phone already. I can't thank them enough for that.
Well mine never had any issues So i'm very happy with it. Best phone ever. It would be very sad to buy HTC..spend 2x the amount..and at the end - still be unhappy.. but with huawei - you have relatively cheap phone with nice specs, maybe few bugs but those are very minor ones. I will recommend it to everyone who wants good low price fast (even 1.8Ghz!) phone
Never forget - only chinese in time of human evolution managed to make the things to be as possible cheap ant as possible good

Hmm the ad isn't very good. Which is the other phone? How exactly does the Lumia beat it? And honestly I don't think humiliating owners of other phones is a good way of perusading them to switch. I know Samsung pokes at Apple in its ads but in a much lighter way.
Nokia can say all they want but the company its a sinking ship as we all know it. Their stock fall 19% after the release of highly anticipated Lumia 900. lol
Personally, I dont think Lumia 900 is competing with SGN as it has much lower spec. It is aiming less technical crowd who cant afford iphone. WP maybe fast at doing specific function, but I doubt it is going to matter until they have a fully developed App store. Unfortunately, it may not happen at all since we already have Andiod and ios. All Apple has to do is pricing previous generation iphone at a discount or introduce a lower model. In reality, it so much easy to tweak os and make certain task fast than building a fully developed App market. That is why MS is offering up to $60k for dev who is interested in WP app.
I went to two "smoked by windows" event in US. Most of ppl who attend dont give a @ss about either Nokia or WP, they all their for the free phone so they can put it ebay. WP maybe fast at doing specific function, but I doubt it is going to matter until they have a fully developed App store. Unfortunately, it may not happen at all since we already have Andiod and ios.
Samsung has no right to whine about this when they did the same to apple with "you're a barista" commercial
plus if they have balls then let them officially acknowledge the fact that many gnotes have problems such as banding, clipping, color shifting, etc
even Sony confirmed that their experia s had display problems and that customers can get their devices replaced..
btw Nokia even gave customers a $100 rebate for a software bug with lumia 900!!
now sony and Nokia were decent enough to accept the fact while Samsung remains silent even though they are aware of the issues

Nokia has many followers in Africa/India and some other middle countries. I think they might do well there but they are loosing grounds in Europe and they still have to make a name in the US.
Android still rocks and I definitely don't think anything will change. Once you use a windows phone and then compare it to the ease of your's friend/relative's Android phone, I don't think you'll make the same mistake twice for your next phone!
Nokia will definitely rock the phone world with their 41mp camera Nokia 808 PureView. This is the device many people are eagerly waiting down the corner and there could be a shift in the trend soon with that beast......
Time to change.........the girlfriend !!!! not the phone. Android is by far a better ecosystem than IOS or Windows.
Such a dumb video clip. lol!!!
I wouldn't say that posting to facebook is grounds for blowing anything away.
Ha Ha, Wallies.
I have owned a Nokia since the 2110i and I strongly supported Nokia untill recently. When Nokia decided to use Windows Mobile as their OS, I decided to vote with my money. I switched to Samsung and I am very pleased with this. It doesn't matter what Nokia or Apple or any one else for that matter does. You as the consumer have the control. Hurt them where it hurts most. Don't support them and don't buy their products, and tell everyone that you come in to contact with. I also don't buy Sony products for their beligerant attitude and monopoly.

Personally i dont think the nokia lumia is worth a thread here... i mean.. seriously?.. lol
I think its funny how all the manufacturers slate each other, its just good advertising. I wonder if you can go into the shop and ask the windows phone to beat your test against your phone. Like play a hd video on the screen in its actual resolution 1280 x 720 p, oh wait. Or play street fighter ex plus alpha on you 50 inch tv using a ps3 controller using the phone oh wait! All phones have there strengths and weaknesses but I sooner have a phone that can do all the functions than do a select few really fast.
According to latest financial news reports, within next 7 quarters ,nokias cash reserves will be over and Nokia would be blown away from the face of earth!
they've already got the first blow as bloomberg announces Samsung, may have shipped 92 million mobile phones, surpassing Nokia’s 83 million units for the first three months of 2012;the 9-million gap ending Nokia’s 14-year reign as the largest global mobile phone maker.

Look how successful Huawei's been so far. They've announced a half-dozen high-spec phones that have been months late or disappeared after they were announced. The phone's they've released trail everyone else's with similarly spec'd SoC's by a wide margin. And people ***** about the speed and quality of Samsung and HTC's updates. What do you expect from Huawei? They could be the next rising star like Hyundai or end up like the Yugo. You go first. I'll sit on the sideline's and watch.
I really don't think it will match up to the build quality and refinement that the Note 2 has. Huawei have a history of building cheap phones. I remember I once compared my old Desire Z to one of their phones which had a similar spec(huawei ideos x5) and it just felt poorer overall compared to the desire z which is much older and clocked 200mhz lower. The audio quality was poor, the stock rom is plain and after 8 months components on the X5 started dying beginning with the digitiser. In my opinion Huawei will only have an edge over the GN2 when it comes to screen size. As for the rest I highly doubt they'll make it efficient enough to beat the GN2.
For some the size of the Ascend Mate might be a put off.

I don't know why there are so many brand loyalists here, competition is good for the consumer. There is nothing competing with the galaxy note 2 in the large phone market, if Samsung were to rest on their laurels, I don't think it would evolve as quick as it could. I hope huawei and others making competing handsets so we the consumer get a better product.

The question of buying a Huawei phone has nothing to do with brand loyalty. My last phone was a Teg3 One X that I was very happy with. I got the Note II because of its features. If HTC, Motorola, or Sony made something similar to the N2 I'd consider it. Just because people have no desire to be guinea pigs for the supposed high-end Chinese phones made by Huawei and Meizu doesn't mean their fanboys or fangirls of another manufacturer. Where do you think people that bought Isuzu SUV's and Suzuki cars are getting them serviced now that both have abandoned the U.S. market? Want to support competition against Samsung? Buy a device from one of the existing manufacturers struggling to compete against them rather than some state-funded Chinese conglomerate looking to enter the market with cheap (for the category) devices.

Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Seriously, Chinese designers have no clue what the consumers demand. It is small things that matters most. If..and that is a big IF, they wanted to compete with the NoteII, they should have made it a 5.6 or 5.8inches. It already has a 1080P screen and 2GB..totally unecessary for a 6.1inch? I just dont get them sometimes. I personally would never buy any of those Chinese branded phones. They are years behind in R&D due to cheap labor and corners being cut.
