First news, Google Chrome for Android is out of beta and current version is 18. This version doesn’t support new stuff from the previous beta version but it’s pretty updated in terms of HTML5 compatibility.
HTML5 Compatibility: There are differences between Safari on iOS and Chrome for Android. Chrome for iOS follows Safari on iOS, so you don’t have IndexedDB, file upload and HTML media capture, animation timing API, full screen API, remote debugging and other stuff. While some new stuff may be included in iOS 6 Google is not in control of Chrome on iOS.

I did and it was working flawlessly at some times, but other times it would make the browser FC.
HTML5 is much faster than Adobe

if a site has support for both flash and html5, which takes priority? I use dolphin which does have flash support, too many video and file downloading sites require flash, basically any site without funding is still very reliant on flash

It would depend on each individual website, how it's coded and how it detects what is available.

[Q] FlashPlayer 10 for Fascinate

Does anyone know how to get the adobe flash player on samsung fascinate..i need some help plz.. hate no to been able to watch videos on regular webpages...
Yeah. Wait for froyo. Flash doesn't work well with 2.1. Your only option for now is to use a browser like skyfire that has a little bit of
Flash built in.

Skyfire actually converts flash video into html5 video using their servers.
anyways, he's correct otherwise.

And by that, he means it doesn't work at all. Of course it depends on how you define Flash. We have Flash Lite, which is good enough for some Flash-based ads and stuff, but not much more. The full Flash 10.1 plugin needed for streaming video requires Froyo, so until then, as it's been said, Skyfire is your only option. And just FYI, Skyfire's video quality leaves something to be desired.

I've actually seen a hacked version of Flash 10.1 posted online that works on some 2.1 phones, but it doesn't seem to work on the Fascinate. Just relax and wait for the update.
Gahh, Flash Lite is annoying, because it only runs the ads that no one wants to see anyway.
I found that flash 10.1 for Andy 2.1 APk. It installs okay, but I could never get it to do anything at all.

Does not support flash, but is Divx HD certified LOL. So Stupid to have the best hardware currently on Verizon with the oldest software.

Flash on Chrome 4.1.1

have downloaded the latest flash player from another thread on here, 11.1.115.20, this was said to have worked on Chrome, but i cant get it to work, can anyone else confirm should it be working now? I'm running Omega 27.1

Chrome for Android will not be supporting Flash. As you may have seen in November, 2011, Adobe announced it has stopped investing in Flash for mobile browsing. Google has long been committed to making the web platform more powerful through open web technologies like HTML5 and is working with Adobe and other partners to further advance the web standard.

Its not supported at all, though I haven't tried using dolphin browser. From what I know they still had a way of having flash work sometimes.

Not officially supported, you have to sideload it.

Works 100% perfect with aokp 4.2 browser , search the themes and apps thread to get a copy and directions
Just load the latest version of flash for android from adobe.com and a browser who supports the plugin e.g. firefox from market and you're fine. works great for me
I also find flash works better when you set user agent to android instead of desktop.
I'm using it with Firefox and it's great -- high frame rate, good resolution. It's almost as good as a desktop experience playing embedded videos.

[Q] which web browser will you use on s4?

Which browser are you guys planning on using on the s4?
Features that some would like to have: adblock, lastpass/xpass, flash
According to this tom's hardware article, they favor Dolphin, but it has atrocious startup times. They seem to indicate there is no hardware acceleration support is limited, it remains to be seen how the stock browser in s4 will perform.
Probably Firefox, just because I find all the extensions I can put on it to be indispensable. It'll probably run slower than stock, but as long as I have a decent connection, the phone hardware should keep pace.
stock
stock/chrome for me probably, give all the main ones a go though
Chrome. Always chrome for me.

Firefox Beta, no question. It's beefier than others, but I use Firefox on my desktop and I love having the bookmarks, add-ons and skins synced.
FireFox has consistently gotten better.
i wonder if the stock browser has hardware acceleration.Surely the GS3, folks have a fav.
Opera.
For testing the gestures, I will try stock but I know ita sucks so I will move back to maxthon, my all time fav.

Stock with quick gesture is awesome on my Note 2, no reason to choose others except Opera Mini (less data usage and VPN for websites blocked in my country)
I use Chrome for its very nice bookmark widget only.
Always chrome for me also. Can sync with my desktop Chrome bookmarks!
Can someone who currently owns the GS4 tell me if it is still possible to use flash with one of the browsers listed above? I've read in other forums that an older version of flash can be installed using Firefox? Flash is an important factor to me in terms of usability.
I wan to use Safari Lol.... Great Combination or Clash of the Titand

Dolphin beta, Firefox beta, Opera and finally Chrome beta for those times when I need to access my main pc browser tabs.
I always use stock. Tried many browsers but I always end up on stock.

I'm a pretty big fan of dolphin browser but i've heard good things about the stock browser

Stock browser syncs with the Chrome bookmarks as well.
I'll most likely use more than one but the stock browser seems to be impressively good!
Chrome. Because of passwords Sync feature

I'm guessing but it sounds like the video was flash based and many internet sites have two forms video, one as flash, the other as html just for iPad and IPhones. The site thought you were an iPad, maybe?

Download flash player and see if the video works.

The video content was Flashed based, but it looks like they also provided a non-Flash alternative for the iOS users out there. You were basically viewing the HTML version of the video when you clicked on the iOS link. Download and install Flash and I'm willing to bet the original video will work fine.
Thanks forma the answers but i have already flash Player installed on stock ROM and using chrome but not many of flash works with me in the sites

Chrome mobile does not support flash content. Try downloading a different browser like Firefox or the AOSP browser.
