Hi, I bought a P6810. After I discovered that is P6800 ROM instaled on. Even in settings the device is set P6800. I tried to use Odin to put a P6810 firmware. No succes. Now if I try to install a P6800 firmware is working until writing modem and fail. If i try P6810 is no writing at all. No it's stuck in yelow triangle of incomplete update. I can also enter in odin mode. Any suggestion of what i should do further. Thank you.

I tried. No luck. What is strange is that even Odin is seeing the device as P6800.

Let's be a bit more helpful with the obvious n00bies. It's the one who have been members for a while who should get the treatment.
Please let us know how you brick your N7000 on the way to LPY or LPF. Thanks.
Like coming from GB/Rooted/Stock or GB/Stock or LPY/Root etc... Cheers...

No problem
I did it too when i first came to XDA
How most people brick ther Note is not reading first post and instuctions. FLAB man i call them Flashing Like A Blind man
UNBRICKED
I too bricked my phone but after reading this guide (ABD wouldn't recognise my device so I couldn't follow it) I understood the partitions had become messed up.
I read somewhere about the PIT files.
I ODINed the ABYSS Kernal and PIT (Q1_20110914_16GB-patched) for my 16gb n7000 ticked the repartition box. It booted into CWM recovery and I used the restore and bingo.
Hello, I was looking for the kernel of the recent humberos / 06 but no luck, quacluno would know where to find it? because I wanted to flash it separately

You don't have to open a new thread for that, if you just look a few lines below, you would find it.

Hi,
I was in UK unbranded 4.12, but after a lot of thought have flashed 10.3.1.A.0.244 using the flashtool. Now I want to root and install custom ROM. I have an unlocked BL.
1. Is this the correct link to root my device? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405
2. If so, can I install this firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2351803 or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208249 ?
I understand from reading from the guides that rooting will void the warranty, but after rooting and installing custom rom, is it possible to unroot in the future, if needed, to my stock firmware? I know this is a noob question, but have spent hours in this site for the past couple of days and still unclear, that is why these questions. Thanks

Go to the general section, start at the top, read the thread titles, done. Asking questions is one thing, asking to be molly coddled is another.

Your first question is answered by reading the thread title you've linked to, and the second is answered by reading the instructions in the OP of the ROM thread.

If you can't help yourself don't expect others to. You could have the ROM installed by now, but I guess you're still waiting for someone to point out the obvious.

What's wrong with the App? Not hard to make a proper request threat in the guides or questions Sections. Doest belong in the Rom, Recoveries Thread
You a mod, or just trying to pretend to be valuable? Private message could have fixed it, and not boosted the post to the top again. I'll move it.
