Motorola Xoom 32gb + Vzw 3G - $199 - Member-Found Deals

I'd say this is a hot deal. Somehow though I am still not ready to buy a tablet...
Factory recertified
http://www.dailysteals.com/

The only downside is its the Verizon branded version so you have to wait for Verizon to approve the update before you get it OTA. But its basically a Nexus device so it still gets updates faster than most, it will get JB soon as the wifi version already got it.

Check the forums man I already posted it request to get it clossed since it's over you can ask them to close mine too if you want.

I might be ready for some Nexus Prime !
I'm wondering I got the nexus s 4g 4 days ago at best buy & payed them 30$ for there buy back program where I can bring my phone back in 6 months & they would give 50% retail of what it cost so it would be 350$ then I can just pay the difference remaining & can get the Prime!!

You would be better off selling your nexus on ebay or craigslist and then buying the prime.

Why is the epic & evo still at 550$? I got it for free from best buy & she told me it would be 50% retail doesn't matter I'm either getting the prime or galaxy s3 that's already in the works!!

Count me in. I've had an upgrade since April and have been holding for the GSII, but when I heard about the next Nexus, I decided to hold off until details are confirmed. If it's coming to Sprint, and if so, when.

Nexus S on Ebay used are going for around 200. If he can get 350 back for it the Best Buy buyback thing would definitely be better. Then hit Ebay to get a prime.
a bit strange that they'd bring this out at pretty much the same time the iPhone 5 hits stores, no? perhaps they know something about the iPhone not coming out until later than is anticipated and are hoping to get the jump on it.
I thought the Prime was going to be Verizon exclusive for at least a month or two. Was that just a rumor?

I hope they don't do that, because they'll loose lots of money for doing that but more likely its gonna take some time for sprint to get it, just like nexus s and then few months later NS4G

That's what I'm saying lol. Chances are it will, eventually, but I doubt they'll be the 1st carrier. I wouldn't mind being pleasently surprised though lol

A sprint Rep told me they are getting the new Nexus but it would be a little after Verizon gets there's it looks as all 4 carriers are getting it which would make sense if they want to go toe 2 toe with crapple I mean apple lol

This is my new phone. I don't trust the rumors, but the general sense is that Verizon exclusivity is not going to last too long - maybe a few months. Also, Verizon is offering it as a Droid Prime, so it is likely not to be a pure Google experience phone. I was thinking of jumping ship to VZW due to piss poor Sprint coverage if it was not for the 2GB data cap (generally use slightly more than that a month).

Has anyone bought from Amazon Wireless

I was wondering if anyone used Amazon wireless before? I just joined verizon using Amazon and bought the gNex. As we know the cdma version has many bugs, and you might get a bad one. I asked them indirectly about replacements eetc and they said they don't do it... What do I do now? Any specific wording I should use when I call again?

I noticed they have the Samsung Note for $249 for new customers. I wonder if they'll match that offer at the AT&T store?
Anybody know??

I've never bought any phones from them, but they are notorious for great return policies. I'm sure that carries over to phones as well.

Amazon is probably better than Verizon at return policies.

I've bought two phones through Amazon.
The first was the Rezound on Verizon for a penny, the second was the Amaze for T-mobile.
Know that they WILL charge you a fee (I forget what, maybe 150$/250$) if you cancel within 6 months of, buying the phone.
I did however, have an issue, with the charging cable that came with the Rezound, and Amazon wireless was very nice and replaced the whole package (phone, cable charger....) immediately.

I bought a Nexus S 4G from Amazon Wireless last year when I was trying to figure out which carrier worked best in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, it wasn't Sprint, but Amazon Wireless was amazing throughout the whole experience. They took my return with no questions asked and I didn't even have to communicate with Sprint at all--Amazon took care of everything during my 30-day trial period.
I bought my Nexus through Amazon wireless and I've sent it back to Verizon for a replacement. No hassle, just bring the phone into a Verizon store and they will check it out for you.
Not sure if you are asking for a complete refund though, never had to do that :/

Upgrading from the X

I am eligible to upgrade my X but since I just rooted it (running Gummy ICS coming from .621), it feels like a new phone. I have been thinking of getting the Galaxy Nexus as my next device. Should I wait to see what's coming out later this year? Will the Nexus price come down this summer?
Sent from my Kindle Fire using XDA
If your content with your current device, I recommend waiting.
I think there might be some fairly good phones coming out this summer.

I'm in the same boat, albeit running Liberty v3. What's the general feeling on the GNex? Seems buggy from what I've read, but the idea of not having to wait 6 months for updates to push out over carriers is appealing.

ive got a gnex and LOVE it (no bugs here) but id definitely recommend waiting. this is approximately the worst time ever to buy a new phone...

I know right. I'm hoping that the Droid "Fighter" will release with an unlockable bootloader. Or maybe, some miracle, Verizon will the Galaxy S 3.
Although what I am really hoping for is for the Galaxy Note to come to Verizon as the Galaxy Journal, as it was rumored to a few months ago.
Verizon never gets any phone love.

New S4 getting shipped

I should be getting a new 32gb shipped out this week. How soon do you think they get the update applied to the new phones? Does the outside of the box state which software is on the device?

Nobody knows.
If you get a phone with AMDL, and you don't want it to update, you need to get it rooted and block the updater apps as soon as you can. There is information in the new OTA thread(s) in the General section on how to stop or block the OTA (if you don't already know about it). Hopefully, whoever shipped your phone didn't apply the update already because if you get a phone with the new firmware you will have to wait until the next root method is found. Good luck.
I'm hoping to get new old stock. It's been a while since I ordered a new phone direct from AT&T(Samsung Captivate) so I'm hoping I can. Otherwise I will send it back and try Walmart.

I just bought my phone from att corp store, it is the s4 w/32g and it was loaded with the mdb firmware, They never looked to see if the phone was on the new firmware. so i quickly rooted the phone and blocked all apps that i think are associated with the update.
So hopefully you get one with the older firmware.. Good luck.
I ended up ordering from Walmart because they wouldn't price match down to the $209. Just waiting for it to ship now.
Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium
Anything is possible and yes it actually does state on the box what Firmware it is shipped with. A week is quite a bit of time for them to send you an updated shipment but my guess is there's still some left over to be sent out so you might get lucky and get a stock batch
Yep. Here's hoping they have a warehouse full of them and not the just in time inventory model. If it comes with the new firmware I'll send it back and try my luck for $40 more at the AT&T store.
Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium
I gave up on Walmart shipping one and went to the att store instead. I picked up my 32gb still loaded with amdl. I pulled the sim and put it back into my S2 to prevent the update until I can get home and root it.

Sprint Users: LG G3

Well I didn't see a topic for Sprint so here it is. Any idea how much the 32gb/3gb ram will be if subsidized?

I think its safe to say about the same price of a SG5 or M8 maybe a little less. $600-$700

Well that is before the subsidy. I would think the 16gb would be $199 and maybe $249 for the 32gb? In all likelihood, it will be $249 and $299 respectively.

Anybody know the release date for Sprint LG G3? The website says July but doesn't specify which day.
I'm going on a trip the first week of July and would love buy this phone so I may take photos with this phone.
Do you believe that this phone will come out by July 1st?
I'm just curious to know if the bootloader will be easily unlockable. as much as I want this phone, if it can't happen, I don't think I can get it.
Yea, a locked /unlockable bootloader is a deal breaker
guaranteed, any of the USA carrier phones, except if the come out with a Dev edition, will have locked boot loaders..
Thats no fun, carriers always restricting freedom.
As long as it can be unlocked it is fine with me.

Knox does sound like a hassle from what I've read. I also want to try a LG device since I've never had one. The size of the device sounds nice to 5.5 inch screen and it's only slightly bigger than the other flagships
