Hi there!
Today i just flashed CM9 on my xperia play; i saw that was a stable build.
I was coming from CM7 and did a factory reset/wipe cache/wipe dalvik and then flashed CM9.
Now i'm stucked in a black screen after the xperia project logo.. What i've missed?
Tried to reboot, download and flash again but no luck..
When u reboot, was it connected to the pc? Try rebooting when the usb cable is connected.

I've just solved the problem. You have to flash the kernel before flashing the rom. I am used to the Galaxy Nexus so I don't have this problem..

Yesterday i download the criskelo rom v9.1
And follow the inst. But i stuck at galaxy note logo here is the steps of flashing i did
1.flash abyss kernel 4.2 and reboot in recovery wipe data,cache partition,dalvik cache
2.flash criskelo rom v9.1 the installion is compeleted succesfully
But it stuck at galaxy note logo i waited 30-40 mins for it
I did flashing while i was on stock ics (note core kernel) , gb (abyss kernel) , cm9
but result is same stucked at galaxy note logo
pls help me here

You can try do the same steps and flash again, and choose the options carefully during the installation process. Another suggestion is, learn how to install Android adb and use "adb logcat" to view what is wrong. It usually helps me to solve or find out what went wrong during the phone boot.

If its aroma there a warning there,
NOTE: The ROM have 60 megas of free space so don´t choose all the apps or you will stuck on Boot

I choose less apps and also i choose the lite version but nothing works stuck at galaxy note logo

Flash stock gb rom with pc odin then factory reset from recovery.
Clear cache and dalvik and reboot
Yes i flashed gb rom cear data, cache partition, dalvik cache
But agian the same result i really want to try out this rom

There is a person in Q&A thread he trying to flash criskilo 9.1 now his device is in samsung service center.
@jonpaslim so you are saying that i should not flash criskelo rom v9.1 on my note
But i see many positive comments about this rom

Format /system with abysskernel and reinstall. It's the best way for a clean install.

Problem solved flashed ciskelo v10.1 working fine
But I can't access site adf . Ly I have the same problem with rocket from v7
But I can access this site while I was on stock rom

I have trouble with wifi!
Often it works well but for example on my job office it don't work, the error is "authentication problem". I try to work on all the settings in advanced options menu, but no results!
I use the last CM 10.2.
No problem with 4.2.2, only with 4.3, same results with stock 4.3 installation.
I try to change the radio to an oldre version but no results!!
Any ideas?

Me too! Try turning off WiFi and on in stock but I don't see this problem since using CyanogenMod 10.2 Nightlies.

Not sure where this should be posted because i am new here, but after updating to 4.4 and restoring my backup from 4.3 using twrp im stuck on the boot logo and it will not boot, would anyone know why this is happening?, im using the nexus 5 ported rom
Use latest cwm recovery. Twrp has some problems.

Needed more info : pervious rom, flashed failed rom, s4 model, odin version used... At least...

Using twrp ...Whatever the most recent is 2.6.3?
I,have successfully installed cm10.2 Roms in the past.. However when I do the same with a kitkat ROM.. It always fails, I've tried paranoid and cm..... I've wiped, cleared cache and dalvik but alas to no avail :3
Does anybody have suggestions? I almost died of smiles when knock on worked in 4.3 cm (kind of) but I'm sick of the stock ROM and lg's...... Sh-ware

There's a discontinued 2.6.3.4 in the Original Development section. Flashes kk ROMs just fine

Seems flashing that particular recovery with flashify is... Unhelpful xD just fails to boot into even lg's three power button precursor

Yeah, I encountered problems through flashify too. I just flashed the zip from TWRP 2.6.3.x, then rebooted the recovery.

Hey for 4.4 Roms you need twrp 2.6.3.3...comes in a zip so easy enough to just flash!....also Philz custom cwm recovery supports 4.4
yeah update recovery,but also do a system and data wipe as well.
be sure to have a backup
and fully downloaded rom.
