Hi,
sorry for the stupid question, but I'm new
I rooted and installed Sabsa Prime yesterday. Today there is a new OTA update for Sabsa 2.1 ...
How can I install it?
OTA usually means update by wifi... But works it with custom roms as well? and what do I have to do?!?
I downloaded the zip file.... Just boot in recovery and click "install zip from sdcard" ? or will everything erased?
sorry again for the stupid question, but I don't want to brick my phone
He explain,
Install via recovery. Do not wipe. And you dont lose anything.

Same here. For me OTA is Over-The-Air...
But I've flashed it ovec the 2.0 without any wipe and it was ok !
Great rom !

With cwm recovery it's not going to work.

No, I have the official upgrade from Asus (not a cwm flashable zip) but on my current stock ics rom I have cwm and root installed and my question is if I install this upgrade will it take away cwm and root??

I've already tried, installing recovery via apk from gnufabio, then recovery (the roach one) and that .zip... but it fails...
Someone can help me with the correct procedure please?
I also have the issue that myzine.apk is missing during the update in cwm although i'm sure it is there. Any ideas how to solve?

Hi, I have a rooted Nexus S 4G with the stock rom but a different kernel and CWM recovery. I have received the OTA update for ICS but can't install it. I was wondering what I can do to go back to stock kernel and stock recovery to install the OTA update so I don't have to wipe all my data and worry about that.
Is it possible? Where are the stock kernel files and how do I do the recovery?
Thanks.
Nooooooooooooo
Could you please provide a working link?

Download these files:
2.3.5 Full ROM
2.3.7 Incremental Update.
4.0.4 Incremental Update (If you already got the update notification, you can copy this from /cache to the sdcard.)
Superuser.
Recovery Saver.
Flash the zips in this order:
504d...
2e8d...
TAMkDR3z
Superuser
Leave_the_twrp_alone
This will not work in twrp recovery 2.1. Use twrp 2.0 or earlier, or clockworkmod.
Protip: Some root apps requireBusyBox.
Hi guys, I'm new, so I want to ask you: how can I flash a FLEXREAPER R14 ROM by civato, if I have rooted 3.2.1 (got it to fix the accelerometer problem) without flashing the OTA acer`s update, which is going to break my sensor? Sry for this question, coz idk where to post this...

If you are rooted and have cwm, then just download the rom to your sd card and flash through cwm.
Install from zip > zip from sdcard > flexreaper.zip (something like that, can't recall exact wording in recovery)

Help please.. i want to update it.

Welcome to XDA!
I recommend you to flash the update by yourself, do not use OTA.

im kind of confuse here sir , Pre-nemisis was the JellyblastV3 , soo whats the next (4.2.2) called ? is it the JellyNoid ?? i just want to clear my mind and not to install wrong rom
Its not jellynoid, its nemesis hybrid 2.5. After installing jellyblast and its 5ota's you can flash it from cwm. Just forget the version numbers. Use ota to download the update but install it manually from cwm. The update file will be in ur sdcard on ota folder. Tha last ota has hybrid engine which u can use to cange the colour of notification bar and toggles. Avijith did an marvellous job there. I am using it right now.

JellyBlast is a banned ROM on XDA.
Thread closed.
Hi Guys just wanted to get this out there I have pulled the system files from ota update 2.3 and 2.4 and made them into a Rom.zip that you can flash in CWM recovery
if on KitKat 2.3 and you want to update to KitKat 2.4 ota then just flash the 2.4 rom zip and dont wipe data just cache and reboot. this should update you to 2.4 ota with out loosing your data and apps.
install instructions
boot to CWM or TWRP recovery
Wipe data factory reset
install rom (make sure it is on internal sd card) or external with TWRP also works
reboot and enjoy
Stock Kitkat 2.3 ota rom
Stock Kitkat 2.4 ota rom
Stock Kitkat 2.4.1 ota rom
Stock Kitkat 2.5 ota rom
Stock Lollipop 3.0 ota rom
WIll try and keep this up to date as updates come out.
Nice on there tom, its a good idea. Not sure why the OTA's some times lose the userdata when its just a update to a current branch.

Hi I flashed your 3.0 on my S7e and the tablet can't read or write to the internal storage, was perfectly fine on your 2.5. Might this be because I flashed it on a s7e or is it a bug with the rom?
