TF300T Camera CCD Array Dimensions and Sensor Positions - Transformer TF300T General

Hey All,
I am doing some research at Uni and I need to know some technical specifications for the TF300T and was looking for some assistance.
I need to know the following information:
Dimensions of rear facing Camera CCD array
Position of Gyroscope wrt Camera (rear)
Position of Accelerometer wrt Camera (rear)
Position of Magnetic Sensor wrt Camera (rear)
Position of GPS sensor wrt Camera (rear)
I have already contact the ASUS hotline in Australia but they did not have this information and suggested i submit a technical request form on the ASUS website. Which in the reply directed me to the basic tech specs online here http://www.asus.com.au/Tablet/Transformer_Pad/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/#specifications and told me to call the local hotline again if i have anymore questions.
So does anyone have any of the aforementioned information or know who i should contact to find out some of this information?
Cheers
James

My bad
Opps wrong section could a moderator move this topic for me?
Thanks

Gyroscope sensor

Hello,
My school have purchased a Xperia Arc beleiving that it comes with a Gyroscope sensor but after checking the specs at the sony website it doesn´t mention anything about it...
Can anyone tell me if it has gyro sensor?
It is crucial for us as we are doing our thesis about the use of the gyro for indoor positioning within android. So we need an android device which has one.
The phone hasn¡t arrived but in case it doesnt have gyro we need to cancell the order and look for an alternative.
Anyone???
Thanks
it has ;
Accelerometer
Compass
Magnetic Field sensor
which means yes... it does have gyroscope - just not called a gyroscope..!!
From the Apple iPhone4 Gyroscope demo, I think compass and accelerometer is suffice to build a gyroscope.

Purple Haze ad low light conditions

For all how have the purple haze ad low light problem it is a Camera sensor problem and HTC wil replace it! It is a problem for the old camara sensor! A carepaoint can fix this whit in a hour!
I read lots of stories of people sending their phone in to HTC. In the beginning all was finde but then the problem returned. Are you sure the problem is fixed?
Sorry, but this information can be found all over the "HTC One camera purple tint possible fix" thread and the rest of the internet (http://www.anandtech.com/show/7893/the-htc-one-m8-review/3 "Due to quality control problems with the ST sensor the M8, like later models of the M7, uses the OmniVision sensor exclusively"). The problem is the ST sensors. The newer OmniVision sensors don't seem to have the problem, and that's what they'll install if you send it in for repair.
And as far as my own research shows, the problem does not come back with the newer sensor... haven't seen any consistent claims that show that the new sensor ever has the problems. That HTC uses that same OmniVision sensor in the M8 suggests to me that they haven't had any complaints about it, either.

Issue with the camera/camera app

See the attached pictures
Anyone have the same issue with pictures having weird pattern/marks?
Also there are lens flare on the third picture taken with oneplus 2. I took it again at the same position with my zenfone 2 without any lens flare problem, in fact i don;t have any lens flare issue like this with my zenfone2. It seems that one plus 2 camera is easier to have those lens flares maybe due its design (the distance between the glass, the lens and the sensor )??I don't know.... Im not familiar with optical physics..:p Is this a deflect with my camera or just a common issue with op2 camera?

It's common with ANY camera.
It all depends on the angle and distance between the glass that is used in the device.
You may not see it on your Zenfone 2 but given the right angle I can assure you it is there.. May not be as prominent but every camera has this.
My advice > Stop pointing the camera at light sources directly or shoot with RAW and post-process it out if you care that much.
Don't ask me how, Google it :silly:
Oh, forgot to mention you can try and cover the light glare using your hand above the camera but be sure to avoid making your hand visible in the shot and depending your angle and subject matter it may not be possible to do it anyway.
Like I said.. Best way to avoid it: Don't take pictures directly aiming towards light sources.
Thanks for your detailed explanation Stevels. I understand that lens flare is a common issue with any camera, what I want to express is it seems that one plus 2 camera is easier to have those lens flares maybe due its design (the distance between the glass, the lens and the sensor )??I don't know.... Im not familiar with optical physics..:p
Also with regrading to my 1st issue if you enlarge the first two pictures you can see weird pattern/marks on the sky, have you experience this before

Yeah, just a processing problem. Will probably be ironed out with future software updates.
To be honest I'm just waiting for CM12.1 to be released for the OPT.
Then I'll be grabbing the MaxxAudio and CameraNextMod apps and using those
Ordered my OPT a couple hours ago

S7 front camera, seriously out of focus!

As anyone else also found out, the front camera of S7 has serious focus issue. The front camera is a fixed focus lens, which means the distance between lens and CCD is fixed and can not be changed. The lens has very short focus lengh, like 1~2 mm. So most distance between object and lens can be considered as infinity. That's why such camera does not have focusing ablility. Which also means unless you change the hardware, the out of focus is not fixable by firmware.
This is a low level defect, which should never happen in a flagship cell phone such as S7. A camera has such issue mostly is wasted. We shall act and repot to Samsung asking for recall.
I had a chance to take a picture, comparing S7 with a Note 5. You can see the big difference.
picture can be found i68.tinypic.com/vzd3qa.jpg, sorry I am new can not post outside link.

We are many that are having this issue with the front camera.
Check out the S7 Camera thread for more.
What FW do you have on the front camera?

Help, motion sensing sms trail camera

Hi all, I'm new to raspberri pi and programming. What products do you guys suggest for building a wireless motion sensing sms trail camera maybe with a IR camera. Conventional sms trail cameras cost upward of 400$ and are too big and bulky and prefer to build my own If possible.
