Hello,
Has anyone found a way to play the free Hulu videos either in the Android Browser or in a modded Hulu app? All the methods I've tried don't seem to work.
I don't have Hulu plus but I'd like to still watch the Hulu free videos that I normally can via my PC on my Nexus 7. Thanks!

I was curious about that too. What methods have you been trying?
Haven't tried Hulu, but Crackle works well, as does EpixHD (if you have it on your TV).
Splashtop to your desktop PC should work in most cases.

I've tried some method that edits libflashplayer.so, a cracked flash APK, and a couple init.d scripts but none work. Maybe its a JB issue?
And I would use Splashtop but I don't want to need to have my home PC on as well. If I could keep it on-device for the most part, it would be great

thought youtube used html5 now, chrome does not support flash AFAIK.
as daveleebond has said, youtube can run on html5 now if your browser does not support flash. a lot of video sites online are migrating to html5 since it is not a proprietary plugin like adobe flash, and html5 runs fairly smoothly on most modern GPUs.

So I found a thread over on the Acer a100 thread about running the hulu website on the browser and was wondering if this would be compatible on our devices since it's on jellybean. Here is the link

Not unless you can hack the flash apk and make it look like the desktop version of flash. Hulu looks at the flash player itself to know if its desktop, mobile, etc.

The thread referenced is an app that changes the flash mobile files over to fake being flash desktop files, seeing how flash is unsupported in JellyBean, you may have a bit of trouble getting this to work.
OP, even if the that works, it's way to much effort for sub-par movies on hulu.
Any way to watch amazon prime instant video's? Has anyone gotten the instant video app to work?

Using flash to play Amazon Prime works great.
I used CM10.1 with AOSP browser but you can do it on the stock ROM too, I imagine.

Any way to get HD to work?
Do you stream sports or movies on your Nexus 7. If you do how? I've tried streaming through Firefox with flash player but get too much ads, the video stops playing and can't set flash to full screen. Any alternatives like sites or apps you guys use to stream?
The site I use is firstrow.

Use the AdBlock Plus addon in Firefox. Works great.

Hi,
So xbmc on the ouya is pretty much the best experience i´ve gotten so far on a small setup! love it.
But when i install the netflix apk, its really hard / impossible to navigate with the D-pad, plus the quality of the stream seems to be aimed at mobile phones. Anyone gotten a better APK where you can browse with the d-pad and get a good quality stream?
And youtube, i managed to install the youtube APK, and the streams are looking great, but i cant login, plus it seems i just find the stock mobile version, ive heard that the google tv is alot better, but does it enable log in as well?
Sorry for the wall of text, but these are the 2 missing features i really want.
I have installed the tv versions of both apps and they are easier to navigate. No problem logging in but I do have the google store mod.
Netflix quality can be poor at times.

Oh awesome thanks. I'll check it out after work. I thought that was the regular phone version for some reasons.

This was the same version I had already. It still doesn't work well with controller without touch pad and quality still sucks for a tv unfortunately

Did you ever figure this out? My wife hates me for putting for taking out our ****ty streamer and replacing it with the Ouya. On Netflix, can't scroll through right or left when picking when you want to watch and can't scroll down to select episodes of TV shows when there is more than 5-6.

The easiest solution I have found it just have a bluetooth mouse. You can just drag the screen up and down, etc as if you were touching the screen. It works pretty well.
Or you can use the touchpad of the controller to scroll. Double tab and then drag up. It's a bit sluggish but it works.
The only problem I have is that the playback stops if the controller turns itself off.
using netflix apk 1.8.1
i got the 1.8.1 working with no playback issues, and with some use of ouya control, does not pause when the control turns off.
My only gripe is the subtitles are very small... can any dev can do a modified netflix 1.8.1 apk with bigger fonts?
