thought youtube used html5 now, chrome does not support flash AFAIK.
as daveleebond has said, youtube can run on html5 now if your browser does not support flash. a lot of video sites online are migrating to html5 since it is not a proprietary plugin like adobe flash, and html5 runs fairly smoothly on most modern GPUs.

Perhaps you didn't get the memo but flash isn't compatible with jelly bean. Or at least I think its not.

I'm pretty sure I read flash will not be updating or working on smartphone applications any longer...

Tried several apks got them working but kept crashing dolphin every time I would try going fullscreen

I restored a previous backup. Ditto with the fullscreen crashing, both in Dolphin HD and Opera Mobile browsers.
Kind of bummed too, since one of the main purposes of finding a reason to buy the N7 in the first place was to be able to watch anime on it. Usually 5 out of 6 alternate video links are flash, and the html5 won't full screen..
Is there an addon or app that can be installed that would take over the inline streamed feed?
is there anyway to watch noobroom.com videos on nexus 7 ?
This is the best solution I have found

Flash seems smoother on Mozilla then Dolphin HD+Beta

Great site, thanks
I loaded up 'the Raven' on Mozilla and looks like it let me go to the full screen without crashing, if the other videos are using the same embedded then it should work no problem but if not then use my 'trick' for those
thanks everyone, I'll try sideloading firefox later today with the plugin.
Hi everyone I've upgraded from a Motorola Xoom running honeycomb to a new nexus 7. I use it a lot for media and one of the sites I used to use was fastpasstv which needed flash. I know we don't have flash on jellybean and I have also tried the work around in other topics these work of sorts but doesn't have sound for the flash movies.
So was wondering are there any HTML sites which we can use on the nexus 7 to stream movies n TV.
Thanks

Install Aurora, or Boat, or Xscope, the 3 browsers that play flash well.
You can still side load flash and it works fine that way.

Any way to activate flash player.
...or an 4.2 not support flash atall!

Its not supported at all, though I haven't tried using dolphin browser. From what I know they still had a way of having flash work sometimes.

Not officially supported, you have to sideload it.

Works 100% perfect with aokp 4.2 browser , search the themes and apps thread to get a copy and directions
Just load the latest version of flash for android from adobe.com and a browser who supports the plugin e.g. firefox from market and you're fine. works great for me
I also find flash works better when you set user agent to android instead of desktop.
I'm using it with Firefox and it's great -- high frame rate, good resolution. It's almost as good as a desktop experience playing embedded videos.
Are there any apps that will give flash support on jelly bean or are we just screwed?

Flash works perfectly for me. I'm rooted and replaced the default browser (Chrome) by renaming the BrowserProviderProxy.apk and BrowserProviderProxy.odex and copying in the Browser.apk from the AOSP Nexus browser. Side-loaded flash for mobile from the Adobe site. Search a little and you'll find lots more info about this. Other users claim Flash support on other browsers, but I haven't used them.
People like to use Firefox and install the flash apk. I have honestly never needed to use flash player though.

I sideloaded the flash player that I backed up from another device and use it with Firefox Beta (no root required).

I've attached the latest flash player. It worked fro me with Firefox. Mine is rooted. But if you are not you can give it a shot. Let me know if it works.

Works great on boat and maxthon browsers.

Dolphin works. Even newest versions. You need to delete or change some tunny browser file. I forget exactly, just search dolphin and flash. And no....you don't have to use version 8.5.xxx. that will crash if you full screen a video.

I just tried UC browser with flash and it worked. So far it's the only one that hasn't crashed when playing flash videos. Firefox crashes occasionally, boat crashes EVERY time I try to play a flash video.

Many thanks. always want to use newest versions of Dolphin with flash support and now my dream just came true.
After read your comment and google that finally I has found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933179 thread and it work!!
Ok, but I'm not rooted (yet)
Just got my nexus 7 recently, maybe in the future I'll root it.
I would recommend puffin browser or boat browser, both support flash without any extra app. Just download one and 'ur ready to go!

You are awesome! Thanks for finding this. I just got my Nexus 7 back from being RMA'd. I upgraded to Kit Kat and yes, this works!!!
You DO have to make sure flash is turned ON and not set to "On Demand" in Dolphin browser.
Also, if you install the Jetpack add-on while having Dolphin browser open, then you need to close Dolphin and re-open it after Jetpack is installed or else, flash videos won't work.
Once I got it all installed, I went straight to Amazon Instant Video and brought up last night's episode of American Horror Story. That is ONE twisted show!
Thanks again for posting this link!
