I have a 802.11n 150M wireless router.My cell phone's(lenovo A750,about $150 USD) wifi link speed is 135Mbps,but nexus 7 is just 65Mbps.
I can't watch 1080P Full HD video smoothly through wireless LAN.
The nexus7 can not use the 5mhz band in your router so 65mbs is as fast as possible.
I have two wireless routers in the house. My att diverse modem (2 wire) and a netgear dual band router. I get twice the speed when connecting to the 2wire vs the net gear....
Go figure!!

Gosh, how do you survive with only 65? Lol. That is lightning fast.

Australia, reasonable wifi and 3g speeds
My download speed is terrible, I'm not gonna post it so I can save me the embarrassment. Lol. xD
3g is terrible.
4g, don't have none in my area. But I use some in some places but usually i don't track it down..
500kb/s (4.5mbps) wifi
400kb/s 3G (about 3mbps) on some area..

Is there any way to link my Nexus with my Verizon account.....so I can run 4G?.... or is this strictly WiFi...

It's wifi only... no 4G hardware.
However, I see from your signature you have a Razr Maxx. You could tether through that, and probably for several hours at a time with such a big battery.

I went the mobile hotspot route. It was best for me because I can use it with other devices like my netbook if needed. It shares my data account with my other phones and no need for tethering anything.
I live in an HSPA+ area but my phone refuses to use anything but HSPA:10. I can't get an HSPAP:15 connection at all. I am using the HSPA+ 'phone' APN and my download speeds are acceptable (7-12mbps) but I feel like they could be even higher with an HSPAP:15 connection. Has anyone on AT&T been able to get a true HSPA+ connection?
EDIT: Well apparently when the connection is in use it switches to HSPAP:15. It only shows HSPA:10 when idle. Answered my own question haha
I was thinking the same thing till I looked while streaming Google Music

Yeah, it does that to save battery. I noticed the same behavior on T-Mobile.

Does anybody else have poor Wi-Fi performance on their note 4? I'm current using the latest version of Emotion kernel for 910F. I have a access point about 3 meters away through a plaster wall, and have full signal, yet YouTube and Twitch seem to struggle using the full throughput. I have

this speed internet, which you can obviously see is enough to watch HD YouTube and Twitch. My wireless LAN and Local LAN are not the issue, as my Desktop and Macbook work well. Is this a problem with the Android OS? Or something else?
I am having drop/reconnection issues since the day I bought the phone. No issues on speed though. Seems they used a cappy WiFi radio. 910c exynos here

Bump. No one else experiences this problem?
Using non rooted t mobile device. My handset has dismal LTE speeds tests. , Im comparing figures done to previous galaxy devices and also wifes handset which performs the speeds tests with reasonable results . All done in same place at home. A reboot of the handset works remedies the issue but after about an hour figures get slow again.
Is there a hardware problem on the device in respect to the LTE radio ?
My last two tests. Wifes phone got about 20 down and 7 up on average. My figures are low .
