That's the power of Verizon 4G LTE for ya! It's the only network with true 4G speeds.
I like to call the other network's "4G" speeds a slightly modified 3G experience. Or call it 3.1G speeds, because in reality that's what it is! Lol.
not true 4g yet, needs to at least hit 100mbps but its still nice
Has anyone received any info on turning their xooms in for the upgrade. I remember hearing it would happen in Sept and it is the 24th and I have received nothing thus far? I logged into the Verizon site to give my info and still nothing?
just wondering if you guys are getting the same or better data performance with your 3G connection. if you do not mind sharing your download speeds and latency along with location. i live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

I have managed to get up to 11mb/s down and upper 4.
HSPA+ here is 14.4mbps with Vodafone Spain (I am in Valencia).
Very North Dallas. McKinney,TX
Here in Puerto Rico with At&t is always around the 2.5 to 3.2MB but sometime its around 6 or 7mb.
I live in an HSPA+ area but my phone refuses to use anything but HSPA:10. I can't get an HSPAP:15 connection at all. I am using the HSPA+ 'phone' APN and my download speeds are acceptable (7-12mbps) but I feel like they could be even higher with an HSPAP:15 connection. Has anyone on AT&T been able to get a true HSPA+ connection?
EDIT: Well apparently when the connection is in use it switches to HSPAP:15. It only shows HSPA:10 when idle. Answered my own question haha
I was thinking the same thing till I looked while streaming Google Music

Yeah, it does that to save battery. I noticed the same behavior on T-Mobile.
