So I just upgraded my TF300T on CaynogenMod10 UnOfficial build ...now I am testing how this system runs ...everyone told about JeallyBean that this is so faster and better than ICS, but now (for first time when i turned on my device) is in system little or bigger lags...maybe there is lags cause this is unofficial ROM build, and this is what i want know...have you got official (OTA) updating JeallyBean? or have you got supported devices what runs on Cyanogenmod10 official nightly build?
thanks for ur reaction

Hi.
Just a quickie - I'm currently running cm 7.1 and want to upgrade to 7.2rc. Can I just install it as I would a nightly (I'm dual booting cm9) or do I need to clear user data as well?
Cheers.
It is a nightly. So yes. If it is a stable release, again yes. Stable's are the nightly's but with feature adds stopped for a couple of weaks so only bugfixes are allowed and no new bugs get added.
Ok, obviously the MTS3G is an older phone - and i think im currently running cm7 (gave phone to my mom) but was wondering if there was any new headway on people running 4.0+ ASOP on the device or what not?
I came across the zeubea thread "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1944550" but is any development still being done on this device ? Is anybody running the unofficial JB on here - or should i hold out for a new official CM release (such as CM10) for the MT3GS (or will this official CM release most likely never happen) ?
Guess Im just looking for a stable ROM that can be used in this device on a daily basis that utilizes a more recent AOSP release.
There will not be any further major updates from official cm, but zeaubas should work fine

Hi I've got maybe kinda dumb question... How long do you think will it take to build a ROM based on Android 5.0 sources after these sources will be available? (It doesn't have to be for our device just want to now how long it will take when the first mahdi, cm, pa, etc. based on Android 5.0 appears... ) Maybe 3 - 4 weeks? I have already forgotten how long took it last time...
I'm asking because my entirely repaired LG G2 had just arrived before I started writting this and I'm not sure if it's worth to flash custom ROMs based on kitkat...
On my old phone, which stopped getting updates after GB, it took about 2-3 weeks or a month-ish for the next android version to be flashable. So be patient, but I don't think it'll be too long, we have some great devs[emoji106]
Well just flash a kitkat ROM now. Since the official LG sources won't be avaliable before LG pushes the official Android L update to us (if it does), Android L ports (cm, pa, mahdi) will most likely be based on kitkat sources,
March, most likely. As it was with KK.
Edit: Meh, saw you're asking for official push from LG.

So I'm looking forward to get Cyanogenmod on my S4 (i9505). Well the question is which Version I should get: CM12, CM11 or CM10. According to Cyanogenmod, some CM10 Version is the actual release Version, but for me Android 4.3 is too old (running lollipop custom rom atm). I was browsing xda and I found these Versions:
1. Unofficial CM12.1 (Android: 5.1): http://goo.gl/itgzzV
It's an unofficial Version Optimized by some really popular Devs on xda.
2. Unofficial CM12: http://goo.gl/xK7x52
This one is an optimized CM12 of the same Devs with the CM12.1 project
3. Official CM12 nightlies: http://goo.gl/LtKtcG
4. Optimized CM12: http://goo.gl/PZ8AkO
This is an optimized version of CM12 in terms of speed
So these are just some CM12 Roms, which one should I get and why? If you have other suggestions pls list them, I will include them as well in this thread or make a list of all Cyanogenmod Versions for the i9505.
Thanks for reading through this thread and thanks for all answers
Hello mate,
I'm the developer of the first two and official maintainer of the third, as you can notice yourself. Firstly, I want to correct:
-except official CM12 nightlies, all the other three are unofficial: one is Optimized CM12.1, one Optimized CM12 and the last one is SaberMod CM12
My suggestion is to not install CM12.1 for now as daily driver since it's unstable (audio issues in calls) and I need time to fix.
The best thing would be to try out both three and choose to keep the one which suits more your needs

I have flashed only 2 roms on my device. GPE and the optimized builds by AntaresOne.
The optimzed builds are pretty fast and stable, but there are some bugs and issues.
On the latest CM12 optimized build, for instance, I can't move apps to SD. It says that I don't have enough space. And there are some issues with restoring apps using titanium backup.
I don't know how stable and bug-free the nightlies are, but I don't think they compare to the other CM12 in terms of speed and resource usage. There is a reason why they put "Optimzed" in the thread title
It depends mostly on what you want and what you're looking for in a rom.
Stock based rom has become painfully slow and unresponsive. I installed resurrection remix pie but camera is buggy (slow or crash).
Any reliable custom rom with stable camera? Even older android versions as long as there are security updates

It depends on user preferences. If you have Exynos variant, I would go for Nemesis Refined Rom 3.x.x. if you have Snapdragon, I recommend Norma N7 Port v26 or Nemesis Note 7 port v3. But choose N4 camera in Aroma installer if you want stable camera.
I have snapdragon thx but stock based roms don't have security updates anymore right?

Norma has security update from 1st September 2017. It's UI that matters. You are getting Dream UX for free, which actually works better and smoother than stock Marshmallow ROM. To be honest, I have never seen Android phone being hacked or something, I don't know why people pay so much attention to security updates.
there is erobot rom
it is the best not 4 rom ever:good:
