Hi
Ilso it works first of all but half the times when I rotate my home screen and then back, it takes a long time to load. I also have a ton of widgets so thatt might cause the issue. Anyone else with the same issue?

I've visited the other threads but some of the circumstances seem unique to the person having the problem.
I myself was using my tablet as normal, coming out of a match in Modern Combat 4, and all of a sudden when going into the Sims Freeplay and I couldn't control any of my sims, for some reason they would all just stumble in place as if I had flipped the screen, I guess as a funny way of simulating me shaking their world around.
I thought it was a glitch in the game and so force closed and tried it again and still they messed around like I was flipping the screen around; after this I went back into Modern Combat 4 thinking that if there was an issue with the gyroscope it should reflect in the game too during a match but I'm able to use the gyroscope to freely aim and look in all directions and the same thing happened with Sonic 4 pt1 with tilting the screen to move around in the special stages.
My Nexus 7 is rooted with it's bootloader unlocked and I don't mind unrooting if need be to send it in since I'm still under Asus's warranty, but in the meantime I have Ultimate Rotation Control installed to force my tablet into either portrait or landscape, but I'd rather not have to rely on the app to do this, that and it causes a problem with The Sims Freeplay since I can't play it with it as I normally would before this problem.
I guess what I'm asking is what options do I have on trying to restore my tablets natural rotation? I've tried wiping the system and restoring backup data and that didn't work at all.
Make sure auto-rotation is enabled and temporarily disable your rotation app.

I made sure long before I resorted to using the app to force rotation, nothing changed.
Hi all,
would like to ask for advice. I've been on my N4 for close to a year, but recently I've been having some touchscreen issues. on occasion, my nav bar alone does not respond to touch and would require a reboot. On other occasions, the whole screen does not respond and requires also a reboot. Most of the time, a single reboot would solve the issue, but sometimes it requires 2 or 3. Also, there is a particular area on the screen where the touchscreen sensitivity is essentially non-existent (i.e. any button at that area cannot be activated). has anyone ever encountered a similar issue and whats your fix? I'm rooted on PSX and hellscore.
thanks!
I had have had problems with the sensitivity. I flashed another rom and it was fixed. So it was a rom related issue.

Evening all, I've just been using screen mirroring for the first time and every 10 minutes roughly it just stops and the TV goes back to a channel. I have rooted and wonder could that cause this?

Hmm could this be a setting on your tv? I cannot find a setting on my phone which would cause this. Are you using a stock rom?

I've had the same thing happen to me stock or rooted it looses sync and just stops after 5 minutes. I think it's because samsung doesn't really care about casting with all the other viable and way cheaper options out there i think the left it just because. The reason I'm saying this is because there's been no improvement since the s3. It's still as laggy. That's just my opinion. I might be wrong.

Stock rom, annoying thing is that it wasn't lagging on my ue46f6670, just stops after a while.

Screen Mirroring for me has not worked at all even on stock, doesnt even find the TV in scan, the few times it has found my samsung smart TV it cannot connect or it says connected but nothing is shown on TV, whereas my Z1 connects instantly. In fact only my Z1 works all other devices I have tried do not.
Has anyone faced similar issue? Here's bit of background. I was using Liquidsmooth custom ROM with navigation bar disabled and pie controls enabled for navigation. I used to to enable pie control to swipe from bottom border.
So, the day I got system update available notification (for 4.4.3), my pie control stopped working from bottom border. Just a coincidence I think. It was still working from other trigger positions though. I also had this incredible urge to see new update of Kitkat. So, I just got Google factory image of 4.4.3 & flashed it. Everything done, I got to home screen only to find out my navigation buttons are not working. That area is completely dead. Those buttons will randomly start working for some time. Only for a minute or so.
So I went back to the latest version of Liquid Smooth ROM. Pie control from bottom border & navigation bar is not working. Tried going back to stock 4.4.2 & take a 4.4.3 OTA. Still no go.
And to me, it seems a software issue since navigation buttons work in landscape mode. And the area where navigation buttons are in portrait mode also works fine for everything else. So, it's not as of that part of touch screen is dead.
So, to cut long story short, please help me out here guys!!! :crying::crying::crying:
Regards,
Mrugesh.
Did you find a solution to this? I know of a Nexus that also started having this problem and no clue how to fix.

No clue dude... No resolution... I'm just using my Nexus with pie controls whichever way I can.... Thank God it's a Nexus. Else I'd have been screwed by now buddy.... But surprising to see no resolutions from XDA.

1. I am facing a, haptic feedback issue, auto brightness issue, and now another touch issue.
2. Was using youtube in landscape, and minimised the video, and then post that it did not register any touch. tapped on the video, youtube menus, nothing worked.
pressed home, reloaded the app, it worked again.
3. Was using Microsoft remote desktop app, the device rebooted itself. Opened the app again, again the device rebooted itself.
Should i go for a replacement?, am i using a faulty unit!
Seems more of a software issue. 1 is a known bug and 2 happens at times. 3 might have happened due to kernel panic. MS apps are not always well coded and up-to-date

So none of this is a major issue, and would resolve through an update?
I have 10 days to return the device, its only been 4. Was thinking to return it coz of all these issues.
