Guys im damn worried on rooting my phone

plz help guys im damn horrified on rooting my phone plz help me .!! also im not getting the things given on the root thread can any one plz help me out plz ?

When choosing an insecure kernel you choose the one relevant to your device. Everything else follow the steps, pretty simple.

Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine

I was worried too. I took the plunge this morning. The results so far are stellar! The operation of of this G2x is so smooth and extremely fast. Pick a ROM and go for it. When you have stuff backed up there's no worries. You get it all back. Follow the directions. I did. Don't get in a hurry.

Petition for Samsung to release sources

Has the say, there is a petition ongoing for samsung to release the source. I know a thread already exist in Android General section, but as a SGS II user, i dont go often on android section. I believe that a lot of people are like me and won't see the thread. I also believe that this petition might help SGS II user a lot. So, here is the link for the petition :

Since ICS for SGS2 hasn't been officialy released yet the kernel might be still under development. So what's the point of releasing unfinished kernel sources?
Next question:
In terms of Gingerbread, how long did it take for Samsung to release the sources after the actual kernel was released?

That's pretty serious. I suggest, if you have proof, that you report it to the mods instead of making a new thread.
Edit: i'm NOT saying it's true or not. I haven't downloaded the rom to check.

several app recognize it as GingerDX 28b, one of them is AnTuTubenchmark

You might wanna PM EagleEyeTom about it. He knows where to check.

I tried some apps and found this one FolderMount
mount big data from your sdcard to your internal memory. so the data is in your sdcard and in your internal memory accessible for their apps. specially for Gameloft games or other HD games.
its advised to mout indevidual folders instead of /android/data/ for more speed
I found this solution the best balance of performance and speed

I think we must join together. Coz I tried for Galaxy R CM versions & it works. Also tried the same in Galaxy S3, it was giving few FCs but no one there to support me. However, I can help you to edit few lines in Vold.fstab & build.prop file, if you are agree only.?
