Discuss about new Froyo I9000 JIJP5 and JHJP5 build for Cappy

It appears another Froyo build has been released for the I9000. Please post your thoughts and update Cappy users on issues on this thread.

I got it running right now, Will post a screenshot soon, gonna try to root first. well actually lemme post then try to root.

Can yo upost the thread to the Kernel so we can read about issues and updates. Thank you so much for your help

Ok I was running JPH when I flashed, all I did was booted to download mode, put the tar in the PDA part, checked Repartition. Then flashed. Did not use a pit file.

Did you use a CSC file? If not then did you use a CSC file when you flash JPH

I actually ripped this kernel for the package so there isn't a thread for it yet. Some are saying its the same as JPH

Yeah I used one when I flashed JPH. When I am home I will post the link to the ROM I used when I get home, but I think this has a csc already in it. With no lag fix this thing flies

Someone in the thread over in i9000 forum showed the build date for this ROM as being 9/20/2010 so that is a good sign

Do you have the usual problems like jacked screen rotation, proximity sensor.

I haven't recalibrated so I dunno if it is or not, as of now I'm not having issues, home buttons are still jacked up

It doesn't look to be an .enc file..

this isn't JL5. This was built yesterday.
If you were to actually decrypt the file, you would see that the entire naming has changed, which is why I was unable to find it yesterday. they are using TMKKA5 in the link now.

So is this froyo for the vibrant that youguys pulled off the russians?
Samsung needs to fix its update system -_- leaving us original galaxy s buyers in the dust while releasing THE SAME PHONE with the updated software that our phones "can't handle"

OK so i just got an insane idea for a script/app, and since i don't know any c, c++ or any kind of coding i can't work it out myself.
so if you are interested then send me a PM
the script/app should make the battery last a lot longer

Im doing fine, I think dympy should contact me since I got one and he is looking, also i think its a little more complicated then just an app .
