Attaching a card during registration was optional, and they won't automatically charge you anyways:
What happens at the end of my free 1-year membership?
You are receiving a full 1-year membership to ShopRunner. You have the option to provide your payment information that would be used to renew your membership at a rate of $79 annually. Even if you provide your payment information, your account will not be billed unless you actively go into your Account Settings page on ShopRunner.com and change your status to auto-renew your membership. As a reminder, your free 1 year membership has no obligation and does not require a credit card. The 1-year membership is absolutely free.

Thanks OP :good:
On a side note, you can get an extra 3 months for free by activating ShopRunner Central. To do that, after you sign-up, go to Track All Shipments/Orders, and sign up for ShopRunner Central to get a 3 month extension. Keep in mind that this grants access to your Gmail account for them to download receipts and orders from all of your online orders, not just ShopRunner orders. So open a second tab and have the page ready to cancel the Central thing. Make sure to revoke access to your Google account as soon as you see the credited time on your account. It should be immediate.
To add/cancel ShopRunner Central: http://www.shoprunner.com/members/ShopCentral.php
To revoke access: https://www.google.com/settings/security
I'm set up until 19 March 2014 now. Note that they run these promotions at least once a year. I've had ShopRunner nearly since the day they came out, and I've never once paid a penny to them for membership. This will be my third or forth year now. It's worth it for free Dominos pizza delivery alone. lol
EDIT: I just logged in to my account to check up on things, and I noticed that they seem to have made 2013 a free year for everyone. My account does not expire until 19 March 2015 now. Yay, I suppose.
How do you add the promo code if you already have an account with them? Or do you have to set up a new account with a new email?

If you currently have an account, there's a clever way to get in on the deal. Cancel your membership, then sign up again with this deal using the e-mail address of your now cancelled account. It will retain all of your shipping history and account info and extend your membership a year from the date you re-sign up. You'll gain at least 15 months, if you combine it with my suggestion above. There's a possibility that you'll get an extra year for free if you're quick about it. It seems like they're giving away a free year for 2013 for current members. That could give you a total of 27 months for free.
Signed up, purchased a mSD card for my vacation. Received two day shipping. Thanks!

To me it looks to good to be true.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...
investing the time and effort into building up the feedback rating (whether legitimately or not) will pay off if he receives even just 2 or 3 orders from suckers who are prepared to believe this and order 2 phones each (notice you cannot order 1). After that, he won't care if eBay cancel his membership especially as he probably has a few accounts like this lined up...
Note that:
- nothing he has sold before was similar or close in value to the phone (although most items made private so you can't actually see what they are)
- he seems to specialise in pin badges... what are the chances he would have a stock of S4?
- you have to be pre-approved? what does that involve? I bet when you email him he asks you NOT to pay by paypal but by western union or something for some reason... typically this goes like this: "I'm doing this pre-approval because I have been let down by scammers/people bidding and then not having the funds. To approve you, I need to be sure that you have the funds, so send a western union order to yourself. YOu are not sending it to me, so it's safe, right? Then email me a scan of the order and I will know that you are a serious buyer". Once you send the email, it takes someone in a third world country 5 minutes to create ID in your name and collect the money from a (probably complicit) Western Union agent.
- No collection because he doesn't keep the stock for "security and reliability" but he can dispatch them daily?
Not many people fall for these scams(I hope)... but like i said, he only wants one or two to be in a considerable amount of profit.

oh.. and minimum order 2, but everyone who has placed a bid has only bought 1?

how can he make profit cos its paypal so ill get refunded. so where would he make money i dont understand
when i sent him e mail he replied as below
Hi,
Quick info about my items:
- 100% factory unlocked, 100% genuine Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 in original sealed boxes. I have both colors: White and Black.
- I have EU, UK and US version of the phone with 64GB. You can use them in any country with any sim card.
- The phones are bought directly from factory and also this is the reason why the prices are low. They all have 1 year international warranty.
- I can send them with DHL, FedEx, UPS, Royal Mail or your preferred shipping company. The items are sent from my warehouse in Glasgow.
- Free Customs. That is right... Free Customs. I gathered a lot of experience sending items internationally and Customs are not a problem anymore.
- As you can see in my description: Pickup is not available at this time as i do not hold stock on hand for security and reliability reasons.
- I will provide IMEI and custom photos ONLY after i have payment confirmation from eBay.
Minimum order is 2 (no exceptions). My stock is greater than 20 and also you will get great discounts for bulk orders. How many phones do you want ?
Thanks
so i replied to him asked
Dear Clark,
why do i need imei number? will i get receipt for warranty, another question how have you got this phones they should be out by end april. cos i dont want replica mind you im using paypal. can you clarify those questions
kind regards

just recieved mail from seller i cant understand much english is this a cheat?
here his e mail
They are out for sale in April but the stores already have them. Some buyers asked for IMEI so i`m including that info.
In order to complete this transaction we will use eBay payment process through eBay Buyer Protection.
How it works?
Once i start the transaction, eBay will send you an invoice with payment instructions.
Through this system the buyer pays eBay and not the seller. You will send the money to eBay by Bank Transfer. After you confirm your payment with eBay, i will receive a notification to start the delivery.
Delivery maximum time is 6 days and you have 7 days of inspection. The inspection period starts once you have the items. This means you have 7 days to decide whether i get the money or not.
In case the items are not as i described them, the transaction is canceled and eBay will send your money back in 24 hours. If they are as i described them, the transaction is completed and i will get the money from eBay.
I found this the best way to deal through eBay instead of Paypal. Also you can actually see and test my items before i get the money.
I had problems with Paypal payments made from stolen accounts and now everything i get through Paypal, even if it`s a good payment it`s frozen in seconds. Paypal is not an option for me anymore.
Let me know if you like this method.
Thanks

That has SCAM written all over it. You would have limited protection if doing this thru bank transfer rather than PayPal.

Read that last night. We received our tab pro 12.2 from Amazon on March 10. I expected that price drop in about 6 mos. Sigh. Oh well. It took two tablets to get a "perfect" one. I wouldn't risk returning it to save $50. My son really likes his Toshiba Thrive replacement.

You can definitely ask them to adjust the price by email without actually returning the unit. They should be happy to help since it avoids a buy / return.
I did request their policy as I did not know. They adjust prices for 7 days from order. They offered to allow me to return it for a full refund at their expense and overnight the new order.

That's a great price for the 8.4 right now. I had picked it up last week for $399 and have really liked the size and performance. I had bought it locally at Fry's and got my 110% price guarantee yesterday with no problems!

Did you do it through chat or email? I did it through chat and 2 of the reps said the samething. They only price match or adjust the price within the first 7 days of purchase. What I did to get my refund difference was to use the email they sent me to leave feedback after I chat with them. Just leave all 3 feedbacks at 1 star then they will have an option for them to call you. The lady I talked to on the phone refund the $50 difference for me right away. Maybe you can try that route and see.

This is really good info for others. Unfortunately for me, I'd started the process of returning/re-ordering while killing time during an hour wait at the Minions ride at Universal Orlando (which, btw, was totally worth it). I had already delivered an "excellent" review of the customer service. I was (am) totally pleased that they allowed me a way to get the $50. even if it's a convoluted method. I don't have any problem getting the package to UPS.
I did the request through email. I'm sure there's some bookkeeping procedure by doing it this way--like maybe a business expense deduction as it doesn't seem to make sense. In any case, the new tablet ($599.) will be here tomorrow. After it passes the "test," the other will be returned. If it does NOT pass muster, I will then call to get the $50. applied.
Thanks @ machx1111 for even mentioning it. I come from the days of "let the customer beware" so I don't always think of these things.

I also chatted with a rep a couple days ago. Same canned response about price matching within the first 7 days. I was emailed a copy of the chat, but still waiting for their email so I can leave feedback. What they did send me was a link to see if I happened to qualify for a rebate, for any order #. Of course, there was no rebate for my tablet order.

yet another promo offer i can't take advantage of.
Getting jibbed on the dropbox offer too for no reason, and dropbox won't respond back
It's only good for those that bought the phone between today (January 4th, 2015) and January 17th, 2015, I believe there is cap to the number of people as well, so first come first serve. I bought my device on December 31st, so no go for me. Netflix is not really my thing since it would still cost extra to rent the newest movies via Postal Mail (bummer).

I'm also glad I didn't get involved with the $200 trade-in rebate as many are expressing frustration in the process.

I'll look into the samsung app store for other items... any suggestions regarding drop box?
If you purchased the T-Mobile Note 4, you should be able to get 50GB for Two Years Free As Long As You Create a New Dropbox Account within your device.
If you purchased the AT&T Note 4, you only get 50GB for 6 months which I feel is an awful waste of space, lol.

Yeah, I tried to get in on this, but since I got my Note 4 on 11/08/14, I was not eligible.
I did get the 50gb of Dropbox (on a new email acct) and I think I get 12mo of Evernote (which I'll never use).
On my Galaxy S3 (my previous phone) I got 50gb of Dropbox (which is still full, I just can't add to it, which is nice to know all my kids pictures are safe there) and they offered a free HD copy of The Avengers movie back then too (on the S3) thru MediaHub I think it was.
Somewhere there was a thread of the available freebies with the Purchase of the Note 4 - not sure if they were all T-mobile exclusives or not, that's where I saw the Evernote offer (again, I don't see myself ever actually using it, but it was free so why not).
GooglePlay and Amazon app store actually offer some cool freebies from time to time, I occasionally get the emails from the Play store for the freebies, the Amazon app store offer's I usually end up seeing on flipboard browsing android news and app news. I'd love it if someone had a thread here or somewhere listing the freebies on a regular basis we could subscribe to. :good: (if that exists and I've missed it, please let me know!)

I don't think so. Because the seller whoever it is you purchased from, did he give you a receipt/proof of original purchase ? If so, check the date on the receipt. It must be purchased after Jan 4th.
I just bought a note 4 but wont get it till next week.
got mine
My buddy gave me his receipt from his note 4 to use since the money he used was from his old S5 I bought off him. Got my 1 year of netflix yesterday which in my case was a $95.88 credit. However, where is the milk?

Yes I just chatted with AT&T. They told me that it will be in the next Bill. Also I complained about the whole not fiasco. So he applied another 25 dollars to my account. So if you call tell them the hassle wasn't worth 25 dollars when you are messing with a explosive device. :good:
I am curretnly talking to at&t they don't want to issue the credit, saying that is for exchanging to another samsung device
---------- Post added at 11:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:33 AM ----------
ok so after chatting with one agent and then his supervisor, and after they claiming the 25 dollar credit was for exchanging to another samsung device, they agreed to give me the 25 dollar credits for both my phones.
They automatically applied $26.50 to my account a day after I got my replacement. Not sure why it's not exactly $25.

I wonder how buying it from Sam's and returning to ATT for exchange will affect this?
AT&T told me it would be applied within 90 days of the exchange. That way a certain percentage of us can forget that we are owed it.
I made out pretty good on the deal, so I can't complain. .. these are the additional things I got had they not done the recall...
- No payments on my phone so far (next bill) due to billing dates, and refunds. Didn't pay anything on the temp s7edge either
- $5 from dunkin donuts (again)
- $10 samsung pay first use credit... twice once on s7e and once on new n7
- $5 refer a friend samsung pay credit
- Gear VR free
- 256 GB memory card free (in addition to the first one from the initial n7)
Not going to get rich, but hey, it was a 2 week interruption to my routine, and I came away with some free stuff... I'll can forget them for it.

Submit your NEW note 7 receipt and information under the current s7/s7edge promo. They are approving and shipping if you bought a note 7, but they are not advertising it. Samsung knows the imei numbers and can reject them if they want to... But they are not. Plus you have to send them your receipt image, and mine clearly says Note 7. I know humans are reviewing them because my s7 edge one got rejected because the date wasn't clearly showing..i had to resubmit, and it was then approved... so Samsung 100% knows that they are approving Note 7 on the s7 promo...and obviously they don't care.
Hm I just completed the promotion. Going to see if it works for me... Haha
Oh wow, mine got approved. I didn't get a confirmation email but I checked my status and it said it was approved. Awesome!!!! Hopefully this isn't a fluke.
Edit: Also, I got credited for both my replacement 7 phones. $32 x 2

I submitted mine as well and it's been approved and ready for shipment.
I just submitted mine too. I wish that I hadn't purchased the Gear VR when I got my first Note since this one comes with bonus software. At least I got 30% the Gear VR using Samsung offer when I registered. Getting the 256GB card. Keeping fingers crossed. Thanks boufa for the suggestions! Much appreciated. Always worth trying no matter what happens.
I just submitted my receipt. I wanted to buy a VR, but if I can get one free, that's even better.
I did the free memory card last time though. And I didn't get a loaner phone either. I just did an exchange. I wonder if any of these will hurt my chances at all.
It's worth a shot at least!

Just checked on my submission done yesterday and it's approved! No shipping date yet.
Holy cow! My promo submission for the VR was approved!
I'm surprised since technically I only bought 1 Note 7 and I did the 256GB card promo already for the previous promo. I guess Samsung is just doing this as a secret apology for anyone who had to deal with the recall.
