Install miroslavs Jelly Bean its much more stable thats the error in the rom that has to be solved by developer (DevSwift)

I try it too and it's similar problem..maybe it's same..I'am not sure because on Miroslav's rom message is on russian..

Just install which ever launcher you like and select it by pressing home screen...

the same happens when I try to use text-to-speech (I tried the internal and SVOX)...

EDIT: Another bug.. I can't change de call ring. Well, I can change it, but when someone calls me the ring is the original one...
Well, I'm using it for one day, and I notice an HUGE drain of battery. I took the phone from the charger at 2 p.m. Now it is 17:45 p.m. and the telephone went from 100% to 55% in +/- 4 hours... I didn't use the telephone, only sent one text message.. I have no apps running on background, so the problem is the rom itself.
However, i'll try it for another day, but I think that unfortunately I have to change it again to stock

i just flashed miroslav_mm final rom and i wanted to download a few apps from the market. but everytime i try too i get a error: unvalid package file, it downloads but when it comes to the installing part i get that error. any solutions?

i think its done with a factory reset (via recovery)
do a clean install again?

Did you flash Utopia Final or SDSL Final? If its Utopia then you need to crate folder called ".cache" on the root of your SD.

I have recently upgraded to JB 4.1.1 from GB. After the upgrade I couldn't see any messages on 'Message' window though I have sent some messages from other phone.
I have isntalled 'Ringo' app for custom tones; After this, I was getting 'Message' notification in the status bar, But when I tapped on it, it was not showing some existing message. When I go & see 'Message' app, there is no message. To my surprise, Even there are no 'Message Logs' available in 'CALL LOGS' except Incoming & Outgoing, Missed calls.
Can some one please help me, what would be the issue & Resolution would be.

First of all there is no JB for Galaxy Y till date.
I have seen there is a massive bug in android which fails to save some of the incoming messages, though it receives them.
To fix this, I recommend you download an app called "Ghostly SMS" from play store.
What this does? It saves the SMS to its internal database as soon as it arrives and thus prevents data loss.
In CM7 ROMs there is no message logs, so you can't check from there.
Send a few messages from another device after installing that app.

That's mean the sms apk have a bug. Try to contact the developer

What ROM do you use ? Make sure you not change anything inside the ROM before flashing to pretent error/FC

Hi all, i have a problem with my Defy+ and the rom 20140409-NIGHTLY with GApps Core 4.2.2 ..
Its no first time i install kitkat on my defy, but now, i have a question...
I have install all 20140409, then GApps Core 4.2.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515036), but after reboot the wizard for setup the defy crash (the application setup wizard has stopped abnormally) and cant do nothing ...
But if i install only Rom, defy work fine, but havent Gapps install...
Anyone have the same problem?
I hope I explained myself...premise that i have bricked defy 2 days ago for the same problem. Today i have unlocked defy (RSDLITE), and do procedure for the root ...try again but same problem with wizard...

Sorry, i have find GApps 4.4.2 and "work" ... but i have black screen now after the loading of Android...i can "swipe" the menu on the top but cand see the desktop

if i dont install GApps 4.4.2 the rom kitkat work fine, but havent market and google service...
try install market or gmail, app start and in few second, close without message...

Now i'm using the last Slimkat rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2556473) and it works!!

Can be a error in root process, try reinstall the rom, if not works, try downgrade to kitkat.
