The GT-I9000 JPX source is now available on http://opensource.samsung.com/
Very old news. Close please.

This its not old news. Thank you op for posting

It is actually, except it's in the development section because the general population has no use for it...
About a day and it is old news?
Also I believe the general population is capable of being interested that jpx source had been released realizing that the development community now have it which means exciting times ahead.
That is just my opinion for what it is worth.

What's old news is people acting like admins asking for threads to be closed.
There is also this thread. I don't agree with the way Darkstriker said it, but admittedly, it is a dupe. And whilst it is interesting to know that the JPX code is out to non-coders, it probably wont affect them much.. But it will be exciting to have a final-version Cyanogen eventually.
There are a few threads like this but none offer a bounty. This is something that may or may not be taken kindly to. I'm sure the haters will hate and the lovers will love. But, I would love to have a fucnctional port of MIUI on my Epic. What's my definition of functioning? SMS/MMS, 3G, Wifi and kernel. I don't have 4g in my area...so no big deal.
I will start off with a brand spanking new $20.00 spot!!
Current donation:
Hotspace $20.00
I will update daily as appropriate. Negative/Smartass/Useless replies not needed.
$8 billion.

Maybe post this in the XDA general section, not just the Epic section, I'm sure all the devs here at the epic section are trying their best already.
Good call...MOD's please move as appropriate.
You obviously haven't read any of the posts by actual devs on the matter. There will not be any more progress on Cyanogenmod or MIUI until Gingerbread kernel source for the Epic is out.
Seems like lately the policing of the forums has gotten out of hand. I appreciate keeping reposts and wrong thread placement down to a minimum, but I feel like some of these over aggressive moderators are stifling the community. Information seems more difficult to obtain and group discussion seems to have slowed way down. I understand its difficult to keep so much info streamlined and well organized so my hats off to em, but damn, relax yo!
They love awareness threads.

Yeah it's always a good idea to take roms from the NS and NS4G section and mix them back into the same one again. Great move.
Sent from my super sleek NS4G which prefers Euroskank and RootzWiki because of Moderator power trips.

Yes, but there should be a system of checks and balances

Or we could all migrate elsewhere you know. This place sucks. I can't come on here one day without seeing some sort of shenanigans going on.

Agreed we need to overthrow the current establishment and get mods who are actually part of the community and conversations and don't just come out the woodwork to ***** and close threads and be on an all around power trip.
If we had decent leadership this would not even be an issue.

Yes Mr. AllGamer, we're talking about you. Specifically about your senseless actions with some of the development threads enforcing imaginary rules which oddly were not broken nevertheless.

If you feel that any mods have stepped out of line or done something wrong, feel free to send me (or any other Moderator Committee member) a PM with the details.
No need to start threads like these.
So, I decided to make this thread for anyone here at XDA with questions concerning giffgaff, who don't want to go to the giffgaff community.
You could live abroad and have questions on giffgaff, or you may just have a question.
I am an avid community member, and I am often updated with information.
Sorry if this isn't allowed, but I don't see why it shouldn't be.
Maybe get it stickied?
Thanks,
Liam
I opened a giffgaff thread myself a while back but it got closed by Archer because this is a development site, not a place to push commercial enterprise. ( His words, not mine)
I'm sure this one will have the same fate.

Actually, I asked a mod, and he said this thread was fine to stay
Oh, and I don't like being linked to posts like that. Look to your left <<
Ah right. Fair enough then
You on about the noob thread? Cause if so, its always there so the noobs might just click it. Unlikely though

Yes and Atrix will explode if you try to use it after this news what you posted twice in separated thread
Well this IS embarrassing. Posted once, refreshed the forums and didn't see what I had posted on there so, like a noob, I assumed it didn't work. I do apologize. Mods please delete duplicate post before my phone explodes
