I know no one cares, but I traded my NS4G and $ for the EVO 3D when it came out. I knew as soon as I turned it on that it was a mistake. Well, I bought another NS4G off barnacles10 and now I'm back over here. The development on the Evo 3D has died considerably and many people jumped shipped. That's not why I left though. There are some things about the 3D that I liked, but I really missed the NS4G. Now, let's hope Sprint gets the Galaxy Nexus. I'll be eligible for an upgrade on Nov. 1st, but I'll be saving my upgrade for the Galaxy Nexus especially since Sprint did away with yearly upgrades.
Welcome back!!!! Pro Avatar by the way lol.

You should check out Pete's Bugless Beast GPA19 if you liked CM7 on th E3D. It's super awesome, wicked fast, and very vanilla.

Thanks for the suggestion. I love the speed of this ROM. I miss the theme chooser on CM7 though. I'm not going back to CM just yet, but if I can't figure out how to theme the status bar icons like ics, I might have to go back to CM until we get the ICS upgrade for out phone and someone gets us a stock rooted ICS.
I got flamed to death in those forums for calling anyone who said the e3d was better than the gs2 a blatant idiot. Hey man if its true my trolling is justified! Jk but yea evo owners may as well buy an iPhone too. Idiots lol anywho glad to know that my nexus is also better than the 3d. For once I can say I've found the perfect rom for me. I haven't flashed **** ever since cm 7101 came out. Very happy with my nexus.

I never said the Nexus was better than the 3D. The 3D boots up in seconds with an AOSP ROM on it. The 3D is by far superior hardware, I just got sick of the stale development and the little kid games. When toastcfh gets all the bugs worked out and the 3D gets to RC and nightly stage, I might go back. I haven't decided yet. I do know I have an upgrade tomorrow, but I am saving it for when/if Sprint gets the Galaxy Nexus.

So I hear CM10 is actually the best way to go with S3 as of now? Nice and smooth?
Anyways wanted to say Hi and will look forward to posting with you all tm after ups bring me it. =)

Welcome to the magic world of the Galaxy S3!
Well....it's a matter of choice really!
I used to use cm9 because cm10 has a memory bug that requires you to reboot the phone once in a while...
I switched back to stock though...
For me it's better than cm because my music sounds better on stock, the camera is much better and also it has great deals in samsung apps!
For example you can get Modern Combat 3,Asphalt 7,Shadowgun and Virtua tennis all for free!
Try using foxhound ics ron which has reached a final stage and is perfect!
I use that combined with siyah kernel and i am a very veryyy happy man!
Try it and you'll remember me...
I wouldn't recommend using jellybean leaks because they are buggy....never the less the official update will come very soon,i think you should wait a liltle bit!

Congratulations on your s3 but this is wrong section mate. From what I see you are getting a t mobile s3. Unless you want a paperweight with 5 inch screen you may want to stay away from this international forum.

Ill keep it in mind about the ICS one. Also Ive seen reports about the CM10 being ASOP. And that its smooth as butter without a memory problem. However if you are saying stock is nice. Idk, hard to say lol. Well wait, no I may not stay with stock. Anyone know if stock has cifs.ko support in its kernel? That to me is a vital part of any rom I get.. and with a device with HDMI output.. yea, network files for videos is good. (And not just DLNA)
Yea if I used my G1 for 4 years (Along with others in my sig for playing around with) then I can only imagine how well this device will serve me. Also I should be able to use Splashtop 2 or Splashtop HD shouldnt I since this has a high resolution?
Edit: Wait so this isnt the right forum for T-Mobiles S3? (Curse you google xda search for forum section)
Search the original android development for cifs.ko mate...
Now if you want hdmi like me stay away from aosp...
It's not supported and most likely never will be...
Latest leak is abs RC ,4.1.1 and reccomending totaly

CM10 is pure stock android with all the touchwiz stuff removed which means all of touchwiz features like smart stay, motion controls, the great camera app,pop up play etc are not there. If you think you will actually need these features, better stay with stock(or stock based custom ROMs,I'm sure you can find some nice ones in t-mobile S3 section).

I think 4.2 and 4.2.1 have lots of nice new features (like the quick settings tiles in the notification bar) but under the hood, it's a gigantic piece of sh!t, it seems. I've never seen my NS4G chew through the battery so fast in my life!!! Leaving mobile data enabled is a sure death-sentence for the battery in a matter of hours, even if it's in sleep mode!!

Still early, it keeps getting better and better everyday! I am running DaxMax's Xylon 4.2.1 on my Galaxy Nexus and it is by far the best Android I have had to date! All this negative talk has a lot to do with certain Mod's and certain Gapps people are trying to run with 4.2.1 that breaks things and are not compatible. There is a lot of dirty flashing and ignorance contributing to this gossip about 4.2.1 being a disaster. The first time I flashed it I hated it and directly went back to 4.1.2 thinking I would wait til it is complete but the second time I flashed it I am convinced I will not be looking back!
I'm happy running 4.2... Its issues that were also common in 4.0/4.1 when they were first introduced. There are some great people working on it, so I imagine it'll get better soon.
