This is called Official Custom ROM
Poland comes through with ICS release
I believe from the letters "OXA" that the release comes from Poland. Poland seem like they are definately at the top of the list for releases with the Samsung Galaxy S2. With the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 it seems like most of the carriers have been equally coming out with releases, with some being a little more bleeding edge with versions than others.
Interesting to see what comes out.

As per SamMobile they said flashing this ROM will increase your binary counter. if you flash this ROM using Mobile Odin you wont get Binary Count.

desire z is hdpi...
I will do a new port from desire z, because desire z has the same libs as the x5. But i need the mkbootimg for the x5 and someone who can sign the zip then
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
i have only one problem. the guide says the Easiest way to replace the kernel is to take a kernel update zip for your device, un-zip it and rename the zImage file to "boot.img-kernel" and copy and replace the file of the same name in your directory.
but when i take the boot.img-kernel from the unpacked aurora boot.img, it has 2,6 mb, but when i rename the packed boot.img from aurora to boot.img-kernel it has 3.0 mb. which one should i take?
Im trying to port CM9 too, don't forget that u8800 hasn't the same system space as the desire z (friendly advice)
Im gonna post it as soon as i finish it..
FYI: mine is booting okay, i have other problems though.. trying to fix them..
yes, i know, but which file should i take?
I dont understand your problem, you decompile the boot.img change the .rc and then want to compile it? (and don't know what boot.img to use)?
we got RC2 now as nightly
whats new?
RC2 includes bugfixes and updated translations and continues our path to a final release of CyanogenMod 9, which should be just around the corner.
As always, if you enjoy our work, please consider dropping a couple of bucks our way using the link at the bottom of the page. While we are on a mission to open up all of these devices to the world, we need to buy them first!

Why make a thread ? Anyone who uses CM9 reads the discussion thread (or at least they should), and anyone else probably doesn't need to know about this.

this is news, and news are good to be shared, people came here everyday to look for something new, if mod wants to remove/lock the thread its up to moderator. i can't change the fact that its moderators choise to lock or not lock this thread
I can confirm that it works perfectly fine with siyah kernel 3.3.3d

No, you don't. Just flash the update and reboot. It wipes cache and dalvick, which will rebuild automatically on reboot, but your data is untouched. Easy as pie.

Although that maybe true at the time the feature still isn't here, 2) it won't roll out to every region, it will only be specific regions and 3) it will be a new update after kk which means we will also need to modify the modified roms for kk with root and custom recovery

the knock code update is supposed to be released next month(april) and you are correct that it will hit certain regions at a time. obviously korea being first. hopefully in that update they will send a camera update to. patience will be worth the wait. once the update hits i can finally go back to stock with all the goodies. until then cloudypro and optimusrs are my top 2 choice roms.

Just flashed the ROM.
Link from OP is incomplete. Its post buy MIUI but there was a file added latter. ROM will not boot with OP link
Use the link from OnePlus One Forum. There you will have 2 files to flash. Remember, erase only data and cache, as explained in OPO Forum.
I flashed it with no problem.
It is expected to have 20 to 30% more battery life with this rom

the one plus forum link provided above leads to flash two files, which are out dated and they are wxl's builds. Personally I don't recommend that build (touch response is very poor). X_s build which can be found http://en.miui.com/download-249.html . clean install is recommended if u are coming from ROMs other than miui.
