Mid-upgrade bootloop problem. - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

Hey, guys! I had the official ICS (B26) in my device and, since a new build (B28) came out a couple of days ago, I thought I'd try that one out, but I got in a bootloop in the middle of the process. I tried various things; booting the official GB (from the global huawei site) ROM resulted into nothing, booting the earlier official GB (from the chinese huawei site, the one I used a while ago to go from 2.2.2 to ICS) showed a process bar, but it stat a little bit after the beginning. I even tried a solution proposed by Katu here, but nothing worked. So now I'm in an endless bootloop limbo and I don't know what to do. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks in advance!

[Drivers/Hardware repair] Home Button (including Fingerprint Sensor) completely dead

Hey guys,
I know there are threads like this all over this forum, but as I tried everything that was described in different threads and nothing worked, i just made up a new one... sorry for that.
Some days ago my home button just stopped working for no reason. I was at the latest CyanPop nightly and apart from scanning FP, everything worked fine. The FP-Error is known to CM13 because of the drivers etc so i was aware of that.. I was getting home from work when suddenly my home-button stopped working for no reason. I thought it might be due to the custom rom etc, so i went back to OxygenOS 2.2.0 but it still didn't work out.
What I tried for now:
full wipe
flashing Oxygen OS 2.0.2 and 2.0.3
installing stock modem, firmware, kernel rom and recovery
as OP support told me: unhide Google Search Bar
hard reboot (holding powerbutton until it reboots)
I still don't know if it's a hardware related error, but I really hope it's not. I bought my OP2 in the official OnePlus Store in Beijing when I was on holiday in China. I already got in contact with the OnePlus support, but they said there is no warranty for the OnePlus Two China Edition (can anyone confirm that..?), so i don't think they're not going to repair it, not even if i pay for it.
So, does anyone know what else I could try (software AND hardware related!)? Is there a way to buy a new FP-Sensor/Home-Button and replace it manually? Every smartphone-repair-store in my area told me that they don't have spare parts for OnePlus devices...
I really hope someone can help me with this!
Thanks in advance,
Neo

Redmi note 7 keeps restarting once in few days

Hello smartphone gurus!
I just bought Redmi Note 7 Ram 4/Rom 64. I checked its antutu score and the rest and it shows well. But I have issue that once in few days, it suddenly hangs and restarts itself continuously.
At first I panicked, and then I found temporary solution that when it restarts I will hold the power button till the booting process stops. And I press it once more and it comes on naturally as if nothing happened.
I browsed and read few articles, but none satisfied me and moreover it's quite difficult to find articles about Redmi Note 7.
My ROM is distributor and everything is fine but that "restart issue". I was trying to flash it by myself but cannot find the option "about me" and "update" (as shown in the flash guide on miui official site
The ROM offered on the site is V10.2.7.0.PFGMIXM (MIUI10) (Global ROM)
While mine is MIUI by xiaomi.eu 10.3 / Stable 10.3.8.0 (PFGCNXM)
Please anyone help me. I would appreciate your help

1 - Xiaomi.eu is not official MIUI, it's a custom ROM based on official MIUI, that's why you can't find the options you mentioned.
2 - The latest official Global ROM is 10.3.6.0, you're probably looking at the wrong device.
3 - Because Xiaomi.eu is a Custom ROM, there might be bugs, even if the users say it's stable, you should whether reflash your Xiaomi.eu by following the instructions on their forum or flash an Official MIUI to solve your issue.
I also got this reboot today when i was reading news. no freeze or bootloop it just restarted itself. Let's see how it's gonna go. Following. I'm on stock rom with the latest update installed.
this happened to me a few times. 3 or 4 times. it's been months without any random reboot now, tho.

Latest Update Problem

Hello, I have updated my max pro m2 to latest version provided by asus. However, i have came across various telegram groups claiming that the latest update is creating problems and device is getting stuck into bootloop. Some are stating it as a buggy update and some are saying it is caused by problem in motherboard. Can i get some insight in this matter. If this is caused by the software then what should I do now as i have already updated. Should i switch to any custom rom?

Yess, we have seen around 20+ cases in which devices were bricked, the device stuck at splash logo, and flashing through fastboot mode is also restricted.
I would recommend you to switch to custom roms, or use stock version 072 or previous ones.
Most of the user's had the same 073 stock rom who faced this.
Mine one also got same problem this morning but it is able to go to recovery mode. so should i attempt factory reset from there first or directly go for flashing the rom into it.

Redmi note 7 global help

Hi everybody,
Have bought Redmi note 7 global about a month ago. My first non Samsung phone. I was very happy with it until recently when first boot loop happened. I am an idiot when it comes to phones tech but somehow i have found Power/Volume options, wiped data and reinstaled all apps and settings. Few days later boot loop happened again. Thats when I decided to update phone, which I NEVER do if I'm happy with how the phone works. Phone came with Android 9, Miui 10 and update was Miui 11.0.6.0. I was extremely unhappy with how small text size was !! It was at least twice smaller than before, even at XL setting. Next morning I got new update notification and I hoped that will fix it. Update was Android 10 and Miui 11.0.1.0 Global version. Text size was the same so I decided to do Factory reset. After the reset it was the same android and miui version again !! Isn't factory reset supposed to return phone in original state ??
And on top of it speed and battery life has decreased.
PLEASE can I get info and advice on what to do ........to be happy again. And please keep in mind that I am not even familiar with phone tech terminology let alone how to do it.
I am not a gamer (except Solitaire),
80% of time I"m browsing and some you tube time.
Thanks in advance for all and any help and advice.

First of all, factory reset won't downgrade android version, it just resets phone settings and delete user's data and applications.
Second, before trying to downgrade to previous miui version please check this thread first:

LinageOS on Huawei P10 plus (VKY-L09)

Sorry for bothering with that topic again, but I'm more than confused on the information i found here and on the Internet.
So, I have a older P10 plus and it had needed to be replaced by a new phone because of some strange behavior that are reported by other users as well (Phone reboots for sudden when using camera and after reboot battery capacity dramatically decreased).
Because of that, and because i think this is a glitch in the Huawei EMUI i want to try LinageOS or any other Custom ROM on the phone.
First i recognize that i need to unlock the Bootloader, okay lets assume their is a solution for the bootloader problem, but now the confusion starts.
Firstly i didn't find any detailed installation guide for the installation of LinageOS, second some sides mentioned its possible (without any facts) some mentioned it's totally impossible to install any Custom ROM on that phone.
So, can anybody provide some updates on that topic and secondly, can come of you support me to install a Custom ROM on that phone ??
Help highly appriciated
Many thanks !!!
