I think that you must do a backup of all your apps and data with titanium backup, put sd card on pc, copy the backup to pc, use partition minitool, delete the partitions and create the ones you want. Then put the backup on sd card and use titanium backup to restore all your data.

The backup location of titanium back up is /sdcard/Titanium Backup

And if you want, you can change that in Titanium Options.

app2sd

I installed Kyrillos Rom v1.0 and partioned my formatted SD Card in CWM with 1024m for ext3 and 256 for swap. But booted into the OS and there's no extra RAM and it shows no extra storage.
And if I then install an application it still takes up phone memory, and using app2sd to move it to SD Card still puts it on my main SD Partition.
The only thing that changed is now when I remove the SD Card the phone crashes.
Install titanium backup and look for sdcard(app2sd), you will see the extra space..
Kyrillos uses app2sd v2 which doesn't totaly transfer all data to sd ext, a part of internal memory will always be used.. don't worry it wont get full till you indtal ~150 apps

To get apps on the ext3 partition, do I have to use the app2sd app and move apps to SD? Or do I just download like normal and they get put on that partition?
in fact, it hided, you can use R.E. explore or TIback to show swap and app2sd area.
Okay this is strange. Titanium backup is showing an app2sd partition even when I take out my sd card ...

[Q] How do I backup SD Card ROM (Apps +System Data)?

Hi,
I have the DL DesireZ SD MAGLDR Android ROM for HTC HD2 on SD and LEO "Stock Desire" on NAND. I have been using the SD card ROM for about a week now and am happy with it. I would like to backup all apps + System Data & cache (of the sd card ROM) and restore the same to a higher capacity card.
Which would be the best way to do it? (I do have CWM installed through ROM Manager on the sd card ROM).
If I boot into another ROM from the same SD card, will it pick up the apps+data+cache from it?
Will the backup be created on on the sd card or internal memory? I'm not sure there is enough space on internal memory.
I apologise if my question has been asked/explained earlier on this forum. I did try to search for an answer, but was not very sure; as this is also my first stint at backing up.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Jiggy
If you plan on using the same build on the new SD card, then just copy the Data.img over. If you are changing builds, use Titanium Backup free on the Android market. This will create a copy of anything you need on a folder on your SD card, and you can restore this at any time.
sd roms live in their own folder. just move this folder to the other sd. all your information and apps are in data.img in that folder. but just in case use titanium backup.
all sd roms use their folders. so you can use more than one sd-rom naming their folders differently with very few problems.
Thank You Nigeldg and mutil for your prompt replies.
Really appreciate it!

I use Titanium Backup free, too.
You can choose "Backup all Apps + system Data" and restore them on every ROM you use.
I have just downloaded Titanium backup free - will be backing up and switching cards shortly.
I've switched the cards, and everything seems to be working fine. Thanks for the help, everyone!
The only thing is, the internal storage has not increased, even though I have increased the partition size of ext2, could it be because I've just dumped all folders on FAT32? Anyway, that's not a major issue.

How do I replace the SD card on my Galaxy Y GT-S5360? I've looked on the forum, but there is no mention of transferring apps.

You can use titanium backup (playstore) to backup all your apps
Once done transfer the titanium backup folder to your pc
Put your new sd card in & transfer the titanium backup folder to it
You can then restore apps
Titanium backup requires root
Of course changing your sd card will only effect apps with the apk or the apps data on the sd card - any other apps that have the apk or data on internal will be unaffected
Remember to partition your new sd card first if you are using link2sd or similar method of virtual storage

Hi,
I am looking for the best way to get a full back up of my phone, as per the Iphones, backed up through I tune.
In other words, how can I have/save an image of my note4, rooted already, and restore just in case?
Back up can be saved to the external sd card or PC.
Can it be done with titanium backup or any other app?
Anyone can explain how/which way can I use Titanium backup for that??
Also,
how can I use my external sd card to install by default all my apps, so I do not use the internal memory??
How to swipe the already installed apps to external sd card?
Thank you for your help !!
