There is a small hairline gap between the white plastic and the silver bezel .. find the screenshot ( the red area ) .. and dust settles down in that area .
Note: its observed only on the right side, left side looks normal
I think you meant "hairline"

a bump after the thread hasnt even been open 24 hours? Seriously?
And it's not a defect. They are two pieces, they meet, of course there is going to be a seem. there is a tiny gap between the front of the phone and the button. Is that a defect? There is a gap between the battery door and the phone. Is that a defect? My Point, is there is going to be some kind of gap or seem when you place two parts together. It's not like it's a one piece phone. It has many pieces.. To cray about the tiny hairline gap is ridiculous. Oh wow.. I just noticed, there is a tiny gap around the volume button.. It must be a defect Is the phone coming apart? is the gap getting worse? No... so stop nit picking..
I have that same problem with my sgs3.

have you guys notice small gap between the glass and the silver plastic rim around it,visible only on bright environment..
i've noticed this on the first day. My friend said he read something about this on other phones to. I'm guessing its because of it being glass. It is design to protect the screen so when you get a bump on side it will not break the gorilla glass. I think

Might be true, maybe its for design purposes, in mine its only noticeable on the top area, but when using the phone normally you will not notice it because of its black color..
It's generally used as a seal to keep dust from entering the phone.

Yeah i just noticed it on mine. Wonder if we should be worried about the screen popping out of the frame or something. The gap is more prominent on the right side of the screen when looking at it. Top and bottom has no gaps. Hmmm...
Mine looks like it has an equal amount of gab and some dust that settled in.
its made like that. like what someone said above, its to protect the edges of the glass from shattering.
The glass on mine is a bit off centre, cant see it unless looking right at it in light.

I had the same glitches. Down and on the left side of the screen. Got the screen replaced by Samsung. The frame and the screen is stuck together from the factory. Now it sits really tight.

So is it a factory defect then? Unit seems to be working flawlessly though and no screen glitches
I noticed a tiny little gap on the bottom most part of my screen and the frame. It's not very visible, but it seems to be collecting a little bit of dust.
I never noticed it before reading this thread.
I must noticed the bezel on my new GT 10.1 has a small bump on the top left edge of the bezel.
I thought it may be a scratch, but it looks lime a casting defect... Has anyone else seen odd bits on the plastic bezel?
I'm thinking if exchanging it, but won't bother if its pretty normal.
Thanks!

Feel free to take an image. But that corner and the opposite is where the to pieces joins on my tab.
Yep... mine has the same thing too. Mine is on every single corner. I doubt this is a defect, I never even noticed it until I seen your post and looked very closely.
When held in landscape mode, the 'bump' is on the left side, on the bezel surface that is flush with the bezel and directly above the speaker.
Ie I felt it as a bump becuase it was right next to the edge of the screen.
I will try and take picture..
I've got the screen separation problem, and if I press hard enough on the left side of the bezel my screen distorts at the left side a bit. Will this damage the tablet long-term?

Stop squeezing it. Open the case and tighten a few screws or live with it, it won't damage it unless you're pushing it all the time.

I am unsure, but many people believe flexing the screen will cause undue stress and shorten the life of the display.

That fix has proven ineffective. Screen lifting is most likely caused by adhesive failure on the narrowest shelf that holds the display.

Hello
I have just bought an S4 i9505 two days ago (used) and I noticed as a moisture effect (maybe air bubble) under the glass screen at the upper right corner of the screen. Anyone know a trick to remove it? Thank's
PS: It is not due to the protective film
Looks to me like the adhesive holding screen has gone/screen started lifting from casing. Might need to take back under warranty.

Looks like the screen may have been replaced at one time. It may be the picture but the speaker mesh looks sunken in and gapped between the glass and housing. The way the screen is assembled originally is the glass has a thin sheet under that is almost like a flake material and it looks like it's separating from the glass.

I just got my note 4 from t-mobile shipped yesterday oct 13. The pictures shows it all. Not only do i have a gap that is only at the top and right side of the phone (which i can live with), the top right hand corner shows that the inner bezel scratched possible from applying that screen. I can live with the gap but not those scratches as the white phone bezel make it more noticeable. Sucks to get the runt of the new note 4s...
i wouldn't call that a "huge" gap, you can probably just slip a piece of paper in, but not anything thicker, same info posted by androidauthority and unbox therapy. how did you scratch it with a SP anyway? glass SP?
It just seems like the paint that used on the metal came off in those spots. As for the gap, it's no bigger than any other note 4, but I do agree that dust and other particles will get stuck in there over time.
same small gap on my phone but then it disappeared after i put on a case. Even without the case it doesn't really bother me that much because i didn't even notice it
You can scratch it if your removing bubbles
I don't think you have a gap issue at all. I'd be a ticked about the scratches though.
Those aren't scratches. Those are the antennas

trust me those are scratches from the paint peeling off the metal. Probably for poor installation.
This phone also had very loose volume rocker buttons.
Also the gap is way bigger than any of the 4 phones that shipped. ( had a total of 6 so...)
Ended up returning this one and one with a dead pixel/dust ball under the screen.
Got my two replacements from t-mobile. all is good.
Oh my bad. I was looking at the last picture you uploaded where it shows the cut out at the top left of the phone
