BLUETOOTH!! - HD2 General

I have been looking for some help for what seems like an eternity now.
In Tytung's ROM : NexusHD2-Gingerbread v3.2a (GWK74)(Android 2.3.7)
with the r_14 update kernel with callrec, all audio output (Winamp,Proamp,Youtube, TuneIn, Pandora, etc.) is streamed thru bluetooth without using and apps or tricks.
I have tried an endless amount of newer Roms including ICS and now Jellybean and I cannot duplicate this feature.
The rom only streams the native audio player only, if it even does it at all.
My question is, is there a way to copy a file from the Gingerbread rom to the newer rom to make this work or is it in the
kernel itself??
I like flashing new roms, but always go back to Gingerbread for the streaming audio through bluetooth.
Can anyone shed some light over here before I pull ALL of my hair out???

can you add speech-to-text to an existing ROM?

I'm running a very fast/stable eclair ROM on my 32B magic, but it does not have the microphone in the text input for speech-to-text. Is there anything I can install that will add that, or do I need to find a new ROM to flash that has it in there,
And if so, does anyone know of a good, fast 32B eclair ROM with working speech to text (as well as LWPs, tethering, and overall stable 2.1)?
Yes you can add it. Search for it on market.
Depending on country it may not be there, in which case you can download an apk.
I'm running Kingklicks aosp eclair, which you can find at the g1 forum. Voice search was broken and I had to install it with root explorer.
Apk here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6151841#post6151841
Kingklicks aosp has teathering, most stuff works, but I've had some issues playing and recording video.
thanks my man.
does this automatically add the mic icon to your keyboard as well?

[Q] Best Tattoo-Compatible ROM w/Bluetooth File Transfer

Okay, so i hope im not wrong - im a complete noob with Android phones.
So yesterday i brought my Tattoo, and while playing with its features today and yesterday i found it did not support bluetooth file transfer .
So i googled it, and got a bit of a headache, and then i saw about ROMS! Im guessing that i need a custom ROM to get access to Bluetooth File Transfer. Soo, which ROM available (preferably a complete one ) has Bluetooth File Transfer available and doesnt sacrifice anything else (i.e. Camera etc.).
Or is there a way to get Bluetooth File Transfer without flashing a ROM?
Btw i have rooted my phone.
As i said, complete noob here - so please be slow with me XD
BT file transfer will only work on a 2.1 or 2.2 ROM. And the camera and FM radio doesn't work on both of them. So there's definitely a trade off. If you can sacrifice camera and FM radio for BT file transfer, then check out Kiljacken's 2.1 ROM.

I installed the v0.6.4.2 on my tatto and it works extra...
the only problem is that it has 5 screens and not so many widgets...
other stuff works great...

Second day:
the rom works fine with out any problems.
Installed few games and few software and when I run them all in the same time it does not lag at all...
the trouble is that there are just a few widgets installed with the ROM so I had to install widgets from market (which are not that good) so if anyone has good widgets please PM me or pos it down here...

(Q) Cynogenmod

Hi, i installed cynogenmod onto my phone the rom has everything i need.
Only thing which is really a letdown is the camera/Video recorder. (It seems to be very buggy)
Just wanted to know is thier any way i can edit the rom, so i can install the original htc Camer/Video recorder software?
thanks, any suggestions are much appreciated.
No, you cannot use htc apps on an aosp rom. can you just search before you post, they've been so many questions on this ==.
There are many alternatives, like camera 360.

[Q] What is the Best's ROM with android 2.3.x?

Well this is my first post and i'm testing ROMS in the last few days.
i tested the [ROM] kuyaDROID | v2.5.116 | CM 7.1.0-pre
This Rom is very stable, Radio FM working good and VGA CAM works fine.
The best of this rom is Android 2.3.4.
Include multitouch and gestures in separated packs for add. And WIfi ad hoc & usb modem internet conection .
I test the [ROM] Srom-2.3.3GingerbreadX8-V2 by stelios97&zousoum96
This ROM is not bad, but isn't stable. It's very fast rom.
No include radio, and the cam vga only, but works very unstable.
No work very well some widgets, like facebook o twitter and I don't understand why.
I love Go Launcher, with all plugins and in the two roms works fine.
Some one knows if android 3.x runs on X8? I read in the rankings of some benchmark tools about one guy , and he had in the phone with Android 3.0 in X8.
Sorry for my bad english.
And tell me , what rom do you test and is good with android 2.3.x ?
Bye

Upgrade video codec on ROM

Hello,
I used RCMix3d v2.5 (2.3.4 Gingerbread) rom. This rom it's very smooth fast and stable but the video codecs are not updated and several of my videos are misread.
I would like to know the location of the codec in a rom to update my rom RCMix3d ?
Nobody knows how?
the codecs should be stored in /system/lib/ .
but there are also some video players with integrated codecs like dice player (.mkv in hardware decoding for example).
Sent out of my Free Candy Van.
thank you very much ;-)
I have not tried to update the video codec of a rom, but right now I use the CoreDroid v8 also based on a version 1.45.401.2 and the same problem on RCMix3D 2.5/2.6 (2.7 not tested)
