MP3 files

Does anybody know why I can't download mp3 files straight from the phone with any rom, whenever I press download it takes me to online music player and I can just listen to the track but can't download it.

which browser do you use ? maybe you can try opera mini (it has many restrictions )

I suggest using Opera Mobile or Dolphin HD / mini, they handle file downloading pretty well.

[Q] flash player not compatible

Is there a version of flash player I can side load ? I'm bummed to find flash player isn't compatible in play store. Loving my new nexus though!

Perhaps you didn't get the memo but flash isn't compatible with jelly bean. Or at least I think its not.

Tried several apks got them working but kept crashing dolphin every time I would try going fullscreen

I restored a previous backup. Ditto with the fullscreen crashing, both in Dolphin HD and Opera Mobile browsers.
Kind of bummed too, since one of the main purposes of finding a reason to buy the N7 in the first place was to be able to watch anime on it. Usually 5 out of 6 alternate video links are flash, and the html5 won't full screen..
Is there an addon or app that can be installed that would take over the inline streamed feed?

is there anyway to watch noobroom.com videos on nexus 7 ?

I loaded up 'the Raven' on Mozilla and looks like it let me go to the full screen without crashing, if the other videos are using the same embedded then it should work no problem but if not then use my 'trick' for those

thanks everyone, I'll try sideloading firefox later today with the plugin.

How to watch veetle

Hello everyone
Does anyone know how I can watch veetle without flash support. I have tried a bunch of different browsers and it doesn't work. Their app isn't compatible with n7. Thanks for reading.

I am on CM10 Kang so it comes with stock browser
I got flash here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1764379
Then go to the veetle website from the stock browser. However the quality is horrible so it really isn't worth doing this but this is the only way I got it working right now... Hopefully Veetle can come out with a new version to help us out!

i was on the nexus tablet forum today and i saw a video i wanted to watch. so i played it snd it played off the website it self. I've side loaded the flash apk, and im on stock. it even works on YouTube. i used desktop mode for both. is anyone able to do this as well?

thought youtube used html5 now, chrome does not support flash AFAIK.

as daveleebond has said, youtube can run on html5 now if your browser does not support flash. a lot of video sites online are migrating to html5 since it is not a proprietary plugin like adobe flash, and html5 runs fairly smoothly on most modern GPUs.

Flash is working in Firefox Beta on the N7 :good:

Using flash to play Amazon Prime works great.
I used CM10.1 with AOSP browser but you can do it on the stock ROM too, I imagine.

I am stock with flash 11.1 installed which I had to install manually and still won't work on any browser I try , even dolphin.
I Can see that flash installed its in my apps .

I watch amazon stuff with plex via channel set up on my plex server.

I have flash on mine ..works well with boat browser...
Should work for you as well...
