Into the home button?
Just curious. Cos it would be darn cool and convenient to have that.

This isn't exactly what you're asking for, but I saw this story in my Reader feed the other day and your post reminded me of it. Seems like a similar idea, so it might be worth a shot?

I saw this too! It works buts isn't that elegant eh? That's why I was asking about the slider shortcuts. I figured since it can be done to the lock screen, it should be quite possible to do it to the home button too. Thanks though.

Hey guys, as the title suggests, I have noticed that in comparison to a couple of other peoples plays I have tried, my slide seems a little loose. Is there any way to tighten it? Cheers!

it is loose and all ours are loose. that's what you get when you have a slider phone. live with it. After all SE said it is normal when i contacted them.

Some sliders have a tight slide. It's just the way SE built them which I hate. I'm sure they can do better.
Some people have added rubber sticky things behind the screen/the corners near the PS certification logo and start button to make it tight when closed.
found this really cool app in the market called Button Savior. I have been really use to the all soft keys on the HTC EVO that having to press the home button kinda bothered me a bit. This app let's you place a little like widget anywhere on your screen around the edge somewhere. It has multi functions but it is great to use to get back to the home screen without having to push the stock home button. I like it and you guys may too.....
Here is a screen shot if you look closely you can see at the right edge of the screen across from the Pandora widget.

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything, but once the back of the tablet is off there is another button below volume down, pressing it did nothing once the tablet was on or if I booted up holding it .. what's it for?
Edit; if a photo makes more sense

You didn't do a very good job of searching...I've seen numerous threads on the same subject.

Ok just me then.. seems v easy to take an accidental screenshot adjusting the volume.. At least I do it often as per the evidence. With thought I think my case makes vol changing more fiddly than without a case so it may contribute...
Example ( and tame! ):

Hey guys my friend asked me what this icon is for? I can't seem to figure it out. I have never seen something like that on my Nexus.
She's concerned coz nothing happens when she clicks on it.
I asked her to reboot but I'd still like to know what it is and what it does.
Any help is appreciated.
Here's the picture. I am talking about the left most icon. The one that has an eye on a film reel.
